What even is thought? How does it work? Do we really understand when we think?

you got light, light plus inertia makes vibes
vibes get interpreted as feelings, then higher up feeling gets described either by words or images, to create thought. then there's something like a high-pass filter that filters out everything below words/imagery
>What even is thought?
a part of consciousness. >How does it work?
It's a part of the process
consciousness->thought->awareness >Do we really understand when we think
no anon you're thinking because You don't understand. This took way longer then it should have.
We don't think, thought arise in our awareness.
We agree or disagree with them which creates self-talk and suffering.
The I-thought is located in the chest (right side) and then enters the head.
>"Thinking, if you ask a philosopher, is something very difficult, so never ask a philosopher about it because he is the only man who does not know what thinking is. Everybody else knows what thinking is. When you say to a man, "Now think properly" he knows exactly what you mean, but a philosopher never knows. Thinking in its simplest form tells you what a thing is. It gives name to the thing. It adds a concept because thinking is perception and judgement." (Carl Jung)

we have outside influences, including autonomous spirits, conditioning our impressions and thoughts. engendered at birth, via trauma, and ancestry. it takes considerable development to be able to develop a modicum of autonomy to resist them. a lot of our conscious experience is 'on rails' with small moments of creativity and autonomy that increases the more skill you develop to resist and identify these influences. godspeed.
It's made up of energy, for sure.

sorry little frog I meant me not you. thinking is a very time consuming process.
when you know a thing but lack the terms of description, thank you for this good post good sir
keep giving me sass missy and see how far a drift away and I'm NOT coming back EVER!
i, as you, was describing that which i once knew not.
perceived reality is just a series of vibrations
And arguably existence itself, both material and immaterial.

Your thoughts are scripted. You think nothing
