The danger of Hedonism

"Everything is permissible"
What the brain thinks of at this instant when this sentence is reflected upon is that he must do something unethical or illegal, Something like breaking the rules of the Society or the Religious rules like Drinking, Having sex, Wreaking havoc, Doing crime... etc.

It's the sentence of "You can do whatever you want" which makes Atheists get excited but it's plain sophism, when everything is done then what's there is afterwards? When everything you yearned for when every hope you have created in your mind to keep on living comes to an end ? What comes after achieving your ultimate goal?Adornment, Plain emptiness, Depression, The non stoppable void, The Abyss ... etc.

Society is constructed around consumerism in order for it to thrive more, Nothing is wrong in maintaing a balanced society, But we are not the representatives of Society, We are only victims of a Society that knows this problem and tries to sugarcoat it by standadizing life and turning it into everyday life, Which makes life seem to be less appealing and creates more depression and more emptiness.

Everyting is permissible indeed, But when one extracts the concept of Hope from his life then his life is only but a shell of emptiness living and consuming until it meets its demise

such a course might just as well be called the greatest folly: for that which in the next moment exists no more, and vanishes utterly, like a dream, can never be worth a serious effort.

If you can do anything you want, sooner or later you realize that limits exist for a reason. Eat all kinds of candy and you realize that sugar makes your stomach hurt. I'm sure some of you can think of other things, but I'd rather not feed your sickness lol.

Yup. There are ultimately no rules, but there are still rules. You can't treat your body, other people, or the animals like shit.

Agreed. One may have some freeing realization they can do whatever they want, but they'll stil soon realize the superiority of not touching hot stoves, procuring sustenance, exercising, having social tact, etc. That while autonomy may ostensibly be available, there were reasons why one didn't just do whatever in the first place. And once one realizes this, the question of "What is better?" arises and with it the field of ethics and general sciences.

(2/2) and from this discernments comes judgment of others who do irrational things which not only hurt others, but even themselves. And then one realizes how difficult it is to change people and so they just become an uninvolved conservative anhedonic introvert. The true final state of man lol

That's why you must not be fully absurd, Everything is indeed permissible but limiting yourself is better than being completely free and at the same time caged

Not true, I ate two 10" pizzas and chicken wings and I could eat it every day, it's the best food ever though it makes me fart and now my house smells of rotten cabbage

      Chuds lack the prefrontal cortex.

If you notice the way they always reply it's always like a pattern of anger and pointless insult that's totally out of context. They're like npcs

A primary example of your thesis can be Nietzche.
Now we can address "hope" as "God" in this exampel i'll provide.

Nietzche built a concept called "i murdered God", Therefore he was completely free from the shackles of a deity following him, From the shackles of the limiting rules, From the shackles of Ascetisism, Gaining total Free will and clairvoyance of your life. Therefore what came next ? Total insanity and madness, When one extracts the element that's essential in one's mind then you can never find a replacement for it, It's like venturing in a new dark abyssmal world with literally nothing, That's why atheists always realize that there is something but they refuse to say it, Even Satan believe that God exists and he tries to frick up people in order for them to not believe in him so they end up worse. How can you be better than Satan when Satan himself fears God.

    But it's only an example

You haven't read Nietzsche. Which is fine, because there's not much there of value, but don't pretend to understand him when you haven't read his shit.

I read his books, The example i said was stated even from Camus.
Nietzsche fricked himself up, The concept of Ubermensch is actually of value, I doubt you even read him.

Trouble yourself no more about the matter. Once thoroughly recognize what you are, what your existence really is, namely, the universal will to live

We frickin need threads like these instead of the shitty semen retention threads or the christcuck cringe threads.
It saddens me when i know this thread dies when a shitty thread baits morons into posting in it.

    Thanks anon
