Black person gets refuted all the time like how he has to crave to stop craving and clinging. The bible literally says to cling to god and king david in psalms wrote about meditation 500 years before gotama not to mention some other things like being a nihilist. Mostly though i suspect they changed or corrupted the teaching

The teaching is a raft, you leave it behind once you've reached the other side. Literally one of the most popular teachings...

      >king david in psalms wrote about meditation 500 years before gotama
the buddha didn't claim to invent meditation and didn't generally see it as useful for lay practitioners, he learnt meditation from hindu traditions which ironically predates king david by 500 years (1500 bce) but yes judaism was practising meditation before the buddha, also I don't think
      >a book written after buddhism said it's wrong because you should cling
      is a solid refutation

i was Buddhist believing the Logos was emptiness but then Skillet came on my playlist and the Father called me to be Catholic on Divine Mercy Sunday. Before that, I heard the Buddha's voice say, "If Jesus calls you, I can't say anything about that." I also had a vision of Buddha when I first became Buddhist where he looked like Satan and was against the backdrop of Hellfire, walking like he was on a stage. He said, "I hope you know what you are getting into." But a daimon had told me to be a Zen Buddhist, so I discarded the dream-vision. Buddha was probably a prophet of God, and according to the Lotus Sutra there are Buddhas on other planets older than Sakyamuni, but I once cast lots doing cleromancy and it said, "Jesus is the Gate of Heaven."

Divine beings don't need or use speech to communicate with you.

You mean when he joked with a little child, using a common figure of speech, who was okay with it in the moment, and uploaded (or his parents, likely) a video of his perspective after the fact, and the video was taken out of context?

Hermes Trismegistus? A greek cult leader made him up to justify his brand mysticism. He claimed to have found a tablet under a statue and he copied it but no one ever saw it. He said Hermes wrote the tablet, and that the statue was of Hermes. Really though, Egyptian mysticism and beliefs were really popular in Greece at the time, he was clearly just taking advantage of an opportunity.

I imagine the ancient greek equivalent of modern Soccer karens simping over muh oriental spirituality and rejecting the "patriarchal Western" religion of greek polytheism

The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to the people in parables?”
He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.
Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.
