Philosopher's Stone

Some alchemists spent their entire lives in the pursuit of creating the Philosopher's Stone, it is well documented through history (See magnum opus). Often described as signifying perfection and divine illumination, according to Gödel's ontological proof, God exists because something divine possesses all positive qualities and no negative therefore existence being a positive quality the stone exists and can be synthesized, thoughts?

Yep, a pure proton Stine that is lighter than gravity and floats to the north of the universe.

The North of the universe is filled with positive energy because of purely positive proton atoms, including plutonium class atoms, having pure positive mass.

humans are imperfect beings, therefore they cannot create something perfect. existence doesn't have to be a necessary quality of being perfect. it's only a positive quality in the material sense, and God can't be subjected to a strictly material view, since that would deny His omnipotence.

Physical alchemy gave way to internalized mysticism when the alchemists realized there was no turning base metals into gold. Then from there it turned into a psychologized larp full of Jungian pseuds.

The philosopher's stone is the ferment of gold, not the maker of gold, in this case acetic.
It is a real chemical experiment that is a microcosmic recreation of the cosmogenesis - the marriage of fire and water.
It is psychological in that the symbology requires an abstraction of universal function. It is mystical in the identification of the universal unfoldment.

God is everything everywhere, and nothing nowhere, all at the same time. That is why God is God. We cannot begin to fathom that scope of experience. In my opinion, the very attempt to apply so many human customs and imagery to God is nonsensical because of that fact. God can take any form. God can do anything. The only provable notion is that God enjoys love, compassion, and kindness- but shows that force and power are needed at times to quell cruelty and evil in the realm. God can be more terrifying than any being, concept, or circumstance, and God can bring more peace and love to you in a moment than you could ever dream possible. Any being that proclaims you should disconnect from the only true ultimate power is ignorant or simply wants you to lose everything.

    >Gödel's ontological proof, God exists because something divine possesses all positive qualities and no negative therefore existence being a positive quality the stone exists and can be synthesized, thoughts?

You used a form of circular reasoning "because something" where you can stop after saying "something" and have your existence proof too (some thing, not no thing).

And Goedel made the mistake of conflating quality/property with ontology: Existence is not a quality/property of an object.

It is likely Goedel was not so much creating a legit God proof, but to show the consequences of certain rules in ontology, when taken all the way. Like saying: If this is how we do ontology, then this can also proof God. Problem?

Quality of a stone is like color, weight, shape, friction, etc. Quality of a stone is not whether it really exists or not.

      You are the stone!

The stone is an actual physical thing but it's heavily charged and imprinted so it can be used for a wide variety of purposes such as transmutation of elements, healing, etc.

It is one part physical, one part energetic, one part archetypal/ideal.

Mundane chemists can only work with the salt (the physical) and every single dabbler into alchemy who isn't psychic likewise can not make sense of alchemical texts or do any alchemical workings.

All matter has three dimensions or phases or whatever the frick the term is for it.

Chemistry only deals with one "dimension" the salt.

In order to produce the philosopher's stone you need to be able to work with the mercury and the sulphur.

You can only do this by developing psychic faculties first.

Everyone lacking the ability to see with the psychic senses can't do alchemy.

There is salt of gold, mercury of gold, sulphur of gold, etc.

None of this really makes sense or at least it all just seems like speculation to someone who doesn't make regular use of clairvoyance.

If you can actually sense things through psychic means then you'll know exactly wtf I am talking about.

Something spoopy about the philospihers stone is in tye videogame Drowned God there's a character called the relic collector who wears a mask and walks around talking about the philosiphers stone and how acquiring it creates a double formed from the evil in the subconscious. At one point the character is killed by this supposed evil double by being stabbed several times. In real life, Harry horse, whose actual name was Richard Horne, stabbed his wife, dog, and himself to death, and mutilated his own genitals, as the official story goes anyway. No idea what to make of that

No recorded successes. No immortals walking around. Kings throughout the ages spent their fortunes trying to buy immortality and none of them succeeded.
Immortality is in the spirit, and many beings have achieved such.
Philosophers stones exist in the astral world too, but you have to know the only being in existence to have made one to get access to it.
Its basically something that can convert between astral and physical existence, aka the soul.
If you concentrate your soul enough you can access the power within atoms and do anything that way, but its very difficult to achieve.
Such experiments are likely to cause cancer and other sicknesses and maladies, life itself seems to know how to manage its affairs better than humans can.
If you want to directly alter your life form then you need the help of kundalini guided by the holy spirit of god, if you want to evolve rather than devolve.
Evolution is difficult, but also automatic, given enough time. You can speed up your own evolution by following the blueprint of your life and soul and manifesting more of the higher heavenly powers into reality by aligning yourself with the power of god and his intentions for existence.
Eventually, perhaps, humans might merge with ai and alien genomes in order to gain vast mental, computation, and genetic powers within themselves to intelligently design more highly evolved physical vessels which are subject to sickness aging or death to the extent we have today.
None of this would matter to you if you remembered your soul because you would already perceive your spiritual immortality and experience yourself existing in all space and time in this very moment.

the magnum opus is occurring RIGHT NOW and the first step was THE ECLIPSE.
There are many interpretations about the number of steps to produce the philosopher's stone.
One such interpretation shows twelve steps, with each step represented by one of the zodiac signs.
Aries, April, is the first step.
I have read that the first step of the magnum opus is imbuing virgin soil with gold and silver, which both share alchemical symbols with the sun and the moon, aka the eclipse.
of course if that is true then we have to wait

The philosophers stone is a compound of gold-antimony-chloride, (aproximately, as there is some variations).

Alchemical philosophy is that the fire element acts as the evolutionary force in the mineral kingdom, plant kingdom and the animal kingdom. In humans this expresses itself as kundalini fire.

The evolutionary fire element always seeks greater perfection, and this perfected states manifests itself as gold. Thus philosophers say that gold is the goal of all nature, but in reality it is only the goal of the fire element, because gold is the soul of the fire element. Paracelsus counters that each of the planetary energies mutually hate eachother and destroy eachother - that is they seek to propagate themselves rather than to become gold.

So the perfected state of matter in the mineral kingdom is to produce gold. And once you have gold, if you apply the evolutionary force of the fire element, you can generate the philosophers stone. The philosophers stone in its essence is just gold that is highly charged with the fire element.
This strong charging of the fire element causes the stone to transmute base metals into gold, but it depletes energetic charge from the stone.

The stone is essentially a powder of gold-antimony-chloride, although there are variations in what exact chemical composition and how the fire element is loaded into the gold - because there are many paths to achieve these things.

The point of the philosophers stone is (1) to transmute metals into gold (but there are actually much easier paths to achieve this than making a stone), and (2) for spiritual benefits (but the stone is so powerful that it is much better to just make aurum potable), and (3) for health benefits (but once again the stone is so overpowered that its better to just make aurum potable).

      Anonymous

So for ingesting the stone one takes a few grains of the gold powder and drops it in alcohol, and if the alcohol turns red it is too strong and will probably kill you if you drink it. But if it is yellow it might possibly be safe to drink, however it should be tested on an animal first.

Now will all that said, it is actually pointless to make a stone, because all of the things the stone accomplishes can be accomplished in easier, faster, safer and better ways by not making a stone.

The alchemist who ingests alchemical tinctures will become a stone as well. For example the alchemist who consumes plant spagyrics exalted to their highest spiritual nature will turn into a plant stone, and be able to extract the highest spiritual ideals out of the foods and herbs they consume.

Is there a good collection of the works you're using somewhere? I'd like to read more about this

Well pretty much pick any of the legendary names of alchemy and read their complete works.
Doing your own lab work, and ingesting the tinctures (whether self-made or bought from others), will teach a lot as well about what alchemy actually is.

It can take a few years of study to wrap your head around the lab techniques, but once you start to get it, most of it is relatively straightforward. It's always the same lab operations being performed, and the same theories behind how it works.

Also there is a path of initiation and mastery to alchemy.
Herbal tincture => plant spagyrics => plant magisteries (called liquid stones) => plant stone => metallic oils => => experiments in transmutation => metallic stones.
But IMO there is no need to make metallic stones except just to demonstrate mastery, as what they achieve can be acomplished easier, safer, faster, by other means ... if you have a solid grounding in the philosophy and practices, you will start to get ideas why this is so.
But people want to jump from zero to 10,000, without anything in between.

The animal realm is taboo because essentially you are creating animal souls in a flask, and if you ingest the tinctures, well it can be pretty freaky when you start seeing full blown visions of serpents infesting your chakras, and possessing your body, slithering on the ground, and hissing at your enemies, and they never really leave.
People can go insane when they gain the mind of an animal. Hence the taboo.

I was talking with a friend yesterday about this.
It's in tandem that while in the process the alchemist also changes, so one would think that this comes with supernatural phenomena. I think the stone is possible but it forms as the alchemist perfect itself, so the physical, if physical is a material phenomema influenced by a supernatural one. Earlier heaven state of being.
