Most wannabe occultists, unless they are two digits IQ consumers, live in a constant state of depression and nihilism, trying their best but unable to perform in a hyper competitive and oversaturated world, knowing that all their ascension struggles and psychic accomplishments are meaningless in the great scheme of things.

Also having "tulpas" and "astral projecting" becomes really old by the time you hit your mid-thirties, and by your forties you'll understand you wasted the best years of your life coping thinking you were going to do all those great things only to soon realize none of your dreams even materialized and there is no escape except the rope.

Nice projections, you must be one of the hoping wannabes that jumps from tradition to tradition accomplishing nothing or some cheap tricks at best.

Occultists who stick to one tradition and cultivate its benefits have no trouble partaking in the superficial societal dynamics you seem to care about so much. Also, anyone who has the right to call themselves an occultist has spent most of their time cultivating insight into post-mortem spiritual legalities, the fact you're delimiting the occultist's experience to the borders of death means you're, as you say, a "wannabe", although it was enough with seeing you mention "tulpas" and "astral projection".

What traditions do you recommend, I must admit I get overwhelmed by the amount of occult paths out there.

Not dogma, paradigm. Ideally you want to form your own paradigm.

What this message is referencing is the people who follow the tradition and praxis of an author and in two weeks they follow a different one, all with the idea of obtaining "Results", which honestly most people in that trap don't even know what results they're looking for.

The vast majority of people into occultism have been jumping traditions like a headless chiken for years and there's no need to do this in order to form a paradigm. For the most part traditions are syncretic, whatever you can get from qabalah you'll get it from taoism, TCM, buddhism, hermeticism or even christianity, etc. Anyone who has studied more than one tradition deeply enough has noticed the shared underlying trends in their esotericism.

Anyways, sticking to one tradition saves you time. This whole mindset about "finding the one that works" is a trap, they all lead to the same spot. Choose the one you like and stick to its praxis and study, i don't know you so i can't recommend mine to you.

OP isn't a real person it's a demoralization bot post. Its intention is in the same vein as that one epic doomer wojak copypasta the gets reposted literally every week about how LE TPTB already le won and it's so le over and we're all going to le die so everyone should give up and stop resisting xD.
In other words TPTB are afraid of /x/ users playing on their level because they would throw a wrench in their gears.

I lived my life to the fullest and I’m in my mid thirties now. I lost everything and went to the occult. I am now a millionaire through bullshitting and manifestation. I have a Tulpa that operates as a target for all negativity and hexes directed at me. I have an astral doppelgänger that I use as my own back up camera. You my fren stared at the Kabbalah tree for far too long. Do as thou wilt motherfricker.

Skill issue? I'm sorry you never managed to have any mystical experiences OP. Creating a "tulpa" is low IQ brony behavior anyway so that's your problem to begin with. I have my gods and my books and the sex magick partner of my dreams, sucks to be you I guess.

My depression was before occult studies
My nihilism is thankfully not a thing,
I understand the paradox of existence,
Although in the ultimate grand scheme of things, my existence doesn’t matter but in the small, minute realm of causation, I understand the importance of my life and existence.
I personally don’t compete with anyone other than my own ignorance, attempting to nullify as much of it as possible but also understanding the ‘bliss’ that comes with specific things in my world view occulted by ignorance.
My ‘ascension struggles’ are non-existent, I don’t seek ascension as much as I seek growth and self-improvement, my psychic accomplishments aren’t mine to brag over or claim credit for, ANY psychic accomplishments I experience is but me being an observer or the Universe using me as a vessel.

I never sought to consciously create tulpas or servitors because I understand the responsibility for giving sentience to my thoughtforms.
As far as Astro-projection - it happens sporadically for me, I enjoy it every time I am blessed to experience it but I don’t lust after it and I don’t fear it.
I am 37 and don’t feel I’ve wasted any time in my occult studies if anything, I’ve wasted time not studying it sooner.

Not everyone feels victimized in this game of life, I know, I understand and I accept that ultimately I exist now and in the future I won’t. I appreciate this gift of existence now and when its time to give this gift back to the Creator, I’ll happily and thankfully do so

No if anything my study of alchemy and the occult has forced me away from my sources of depression for the most part(such as here, I only post on this dumb when Im bored at work now), and focused on reading and improving myself(learning latin, reading classics such as the Republic).
Sounds like you got into the EerieWeb types of occult shit, aka the surface level low effort meme shit thats just an excuse to pretend to feel speical.

why would you expect occultists to be smart and cool when their whole deal is that they are dependant on entitities to give them them what they want, instead of aspiring to it themselves?

      Anonymous

becuase its assumed that one would need to read and study to become one, this isnt really the case much anymore with 90% of the occult community thanks to new-age spiritualism essentially removing the need for it as a "just b ur self" thing and rejecting the old systems. you can be a happy idiot and claim to be a modern occultist with no idea of its history or anything but the new modern slop.

Most here just want to rebel and be contrarian. Cant really even call them ocultists when their main activities include shit posting and crying about israelites while unironically claiming to use systems that were founded by them

hypercompetitive world, you're very naive, it's much worse than that.

you can win the biggest competition and still be squashed like a bug by life.

Happened to Alexander, Napoleon and Caesar, why do you think you are above them?
