      How can we find him?

You can look to all the corners and till the far end, you won't find him. The world will find him all at the same time, he won't announce its him, things will just dictate that he is Arthur, btw his name is not arthur.

During the Sixth century there was a forty year halt to Saxon advances, due to the resistance of a confederation of British tribes, this confederation would have to have a leader, this leader was almost certainly named Arthur, because the oral tradition could reasonably be expected to preserve key details such as his name, also Arthur rapidly became a very popular name among the ancient Britons at around the time he would have lived.

arthur was first mentioned almost 600 years after his supposed death. in the historical community, this would pretty much be considered proof that his existence is highly unlikely. compare to how jesus was first mentioned only 30 years after his death, or how the epic of gilgamesh can be dated to around gilgamesh's lifespan, and historians can generally agree that these men, however mythicized, were indeed real. arthur, on the other hand, is fighting against 600 years. the leader of the british confederation was ambrosius aurelianus, who is the most likely candidate for arthur's inspiration. however, in the arthur legends, arthur is a nephew of aurelianus, so it can't be argued that the two were intended to be one-in-the-same.

long story short, arthur isn't fricking real bro.

The latest that the first recorded mention of Arthur was written was 300 years after he lived not 600, he is mentioned in British poetry dated between around the 8th century in passing as someone already widely well known.

Obviously Ambrosius would have had successors, it’s highly unlikely he ruled for forty years, he probably didn’t even live forty years.

Historians are massively biased against oral traditions because they are scared of ambiguity.

He is very real, and the concept of him being "false history" is part of the mainstream propaganda to disenfranchise the People. Don't believe it.

Killed am I, I who was a British high king.
Killed am I, who was protector of all.
Damned are those who have me slain they shall fall.
Cursed are they who destruction themselves bring.
No good comes to those who betray their king.
No good comes from them who betray at all.
Barren rock their legacy, rapid their fall.
Barren dust and barren years, time will bring.

My frame will not lie easy nor tranquil.
My ghost will not seek rest, my shade will walk.
I will see all evil, curse it, I will.
I will drink my fill of death and mad talk.
It will restore my flesh by rage unstill.
So a hundred may cause it so to walk.

One for joy, joy which will restore my strength.
    Joy, joy at any length!
Joy! from joy comes all that’s good!

One for love and kindness, to me redeem.
To wipe sins away by ream.
    From kindness comes justice!

One for the fire and tumult.
Tumult is the stuff of life.
All are born from eternal strife!
