My first gf came from a biker family. It’s a cultural thing that’s passed down in families. If dad likes bikes then sonny boy grows up around bikers and their culture, goes on their cross country trips and whatnot. Then grandson does the same. My ex gf’s dad and grandad were both bikers.

If I'm understanding correctly, Satan is torturing people to make them martyrs and to spread more negative feelings. What is a man who is constantly reminded he can't have anything he wants going to do? Probably cry online about it. He gives me false hope and tells me it's all for the best but it is clearly not. I keep writing about it, I don't know if I should, nobody seems to know anything, not many people anyways. Twofold answer. Stereotypes develop because of a developed pattern. For example, Indian immigrants in places like New York were unable to receive bank loans to open brick-and-mortar businesses in the early 20th century, but they were able to purchase cars. So, when one immigrant had the idea to become a cabby, by virtue of the fact that most if not all localized immigrant communities tend to have a certain level of closeness, it makes sense that other members of this community would copy the idea. Fast forward 50 years and since it's a stereotype to be an Indian Cabby, it actually makes it easier to start in that business because people already associate the way you look with that business.
As far as Sea Captains go, people who become sea captains usually want to do so because they developed an early fascination with sailing. If a young person grows up idolizing people like Captain Ahab, it makes perfect sense that they would not only pursue that kind of career but also co-opt the aesthetic. I can prove this one beyond a reasonable doubt because my paternal grandfather is one of these individuals.

Not all taxi drivers are brown, and there are thin rabbis. And wtf even is a nautical look? A competitive sailing captain, a fishing boat captain, and a luxury cruise captain all bring different images to mind, and in reality each of these subtypes of captain encompass a whole range of looks.
