The Human heart gradually aligns and shifts more into the middle of your chest in response to pro-longed, constant, anxiety. Most everyone has a center-aligned heart since 2009-2010 due to mobile phone bullshit. Our hearts are naturally somewhat centered due how it synergizes with our lungs and allows us to jog/run marathon as a stamina animal, so this could be a jerry-rigged fix to extend efficiency.
This started happening on a much wider/global scale after the 30's or 40's. "That's fricking bullshit", the pledge of allegiance was invented in like 1889 or something, but didn't become public school core until the 40's. When you place your hand on your chest the heart used to be located there, and still is when you're a child, but shifts as you grow older and more worn down.
Tldr; it's a recent epigenetic change.

When you sit too much it causes a buildup of fluid and shifts your weight in such a way that your body has to raise your kidneys so you'll drain properly and it can keep filtering out fluid, gunk, etc... I can't remember what the physics term for this is.

The only place I have ever heard anyone make this claim is on /x/, and it's always just to point how weird it is because it's supposed to be left-of-center, whereas outside of /x/, everyone just kind of knows it's left-of-center and no one seems to claim otherwise. Yes, it's not fully aligned but roughly so, usually with some valves a bit to the left.
It used to be like this: put your fist in the center of your chest, where the fist ends on the left side your heart starts.
I jumped into this reality about a year ago. Really freaked me out when I put my hand on my chest and my heart beat was more center and less easy to feel. Some other changes were made in the programming or this is a new place, I don’t know. It’s still sort of shit. I think the world I first remember was pretty good though.
