it's not all evil but it seems too deliberate for me for it to be something channeled or whatever without their knowledge. you would think the ones making the movies and music would notice and be concerned that their creations just happen to contain hidden meanings that they didn't consciously put in
You're right, anything published has been approved, usually modified until correct by some higher up, and is usually very deliberate. After signing their first "real" contract or joining the club most songwriters are charged to write a hymn to the god of this world, in our post 20th century it's usually disguised as a love song to a lover like in OP's link. Some are better than others.
