So I ended up finding Ken Wheeler though some of my /x/ tier friends on an occult server on discord (not some crummy public one, but a well curated, invite only server) and I really do not know what to think of him. On one hand he seems to have an extremely good understanding of metaphysics and traditional philosophy as well as the power structures of religion and politics, however he seems to be extremely unaware about almost all basic science ranging from biology to IT to engineering. What is even more concerning is that for the most part, he refuses to accept or even acknowledge any criticism levied against him, and he continues these rabbit holes which only discredit his legitimate arguments and idea. Even though he seems to be a well meaning individual on the outside, he seems to have an ere of narcissism.
Mark Passio on the other hand seems to have far fewer detractors and this has caused me to become rather questionable of his content. While I admit that I have been able to double check a vast majority of his work through outside sources, and he goes out of his way to say when he isn't completely sure about something (granted, he does not always reinforce the fact that he's not firm on certain topics) the fact that he has been able to continue doing what he's doing for such a long period of time is extremely questionable, despite being an outspoken anarchist. He has proven himself numerous times that he is both more intelligent than Alex Jones and David Icke (despite both of them either being schizos or legit misinformation agents) yet he still hangs around their circles when the primary focus of his work is based in political psychology and sociology and not aliens and lizards. I like his work, and his work does not seem to raise any red flags, however too many people have noticed too many issues with him and I need answers. If he is a disinformation agent he is one of if not the best.

>ignores or refuses to answer criticism
sounds like your typical charlatan
>is a an obese materialistic right wing narcissist dipshit legit?
you tell me. does buddhism/platonism teach greed and craving? what are you even asking? why do you even give a shit?
>Ken Wheeler
>''I'm not one of those fear mongers but every week of every year I will warn you about financial collapse, food shortages, nuclear war and totalitarian government control''
>''So buy this gadget because I'm struggling to pay the bills even though I brag about all the expensive equipment I own and the stockpiles of food in my basement''.
I'm tired of his game.
His reading list is solid:

I dunno when he lost his mind but he used a lot more down to earth. His introduction/videos on the occult and symbolic studies is great, but you also get some snake oil here and there. It’s honestly expected when dealing with occult studies in gemeral. Not everyone shares wisdom to the pupil at their own expense. So read between the lines and do your own studies as always.
why do you people listen to any youtubers about any subject? why? I don't get it.
I dont understand what the problem is here? You read books instead? Written by some rando? Help me understand what the heck you mean
Books are expensive and time consuming. I know that its not ideal, but its the truth.
Yea this is scummy.
I'll give it a listen when I have some times.
>he seems to have an extremely good understanding of metaphysics and traditional philosophy
He doesn't. He's a fraud. This video proves it conclusively:
I feel sorry for the people in the comment section who think this guy has any wisdom to dispense.
He's pretty good. His book recommendations are solid and he is actually correct about anatman in Buddhism. I think he's wrong about what theurgy is and in dismissing almost all rituals/praxis and perhaps other comments regarding religion but his overall message on metaphysics is good.
Problem is it seems most of his videos are just repeating the same points and general ideas ad nauseum.
he's the same as every college professor.
read a bunch of books but has never practiced anything. and lots of ego.
We all agree that the lustful and petty have nothing to teach, right? Same with fatties (ken) and rageheads (mark). If they break one of the seven deadly sins, they probably have no wisdom.
Rage isnt one of the 7 deadly sins, and mark has rage yes, but he does have wrath. He brings up when he want too far over the edge and he does apologize when he gets something wrong. Ken on the other hand I have no defense for.
He just wants justice too much. Only God can provide justice, and if there is no God, there is no justice.
Anyone who shows off their ego thereby shows off their abject ignorance.
Well, having an ego isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'm not really looking for esoteric issues with their practices, as at least Mark claims to not have a specific practice, I'm looking for more specific things like factual inconsistencies and questionable connections.
>Well, having an ego isn't necessarily a bad thing.
It is if you're looking to dispense wisdom or guidance of any kind.
The enlightenment paradox says otherwise. You need an ego to peruse enlightenment because enlightenment is essentially another way of saying "the rationalization of all things". If you have no personal drive to reach a state of ultimate understanding you will most likely never reach enlightenment. You cannot say something and then not explain why that thing is an expect others to take it seriously.
Yes it is a red flag which is why I am glad that for the most part he uses information which can be found freely online and or accepted studies and articles.

Wrong. Enlightenment has nothing to do with any egoic or worldly drive. It is predetermined by the greater self.
>It is predetermined by the greater self.
Sauce?
Unless you're going for the "we're all enlightened and we just dont know it yet" your argument makes no sense.
All the main events in your life are predetermined from above. You can control your actions to a large extent, but the outcomes are pre-established by the script your greater self has written for you. Enlightenment certainly counts as a "major event" so only those destined to be enlightened will become enlightened.
he used to pretend that his narcissism was an act. but now we know its a defense. if he let a molecule of humility in, he would rope himself.
>an inch of humility would make life worthless to him
That's the sort of ego of a man who would join the NWO.
I wouldn't really call it narcissism. His superiors in the conspiracy field are (from an outsiders perspective) idiots, the people below him are of questionable integrity, and he himself has essentially slaved away for over a decade trying to disseminate information which should already be common knowledge. Almost everything he does/says is the result of genuine, very human, emotions, because I genuinely think that he is sad about the state of the world.
Conspiracy-mindedness is a massive red flag.
Ken wheeler, you mean the photography guy? the theory apophosis channel?
yes.
