Anxiety eating me from the gut

So I suffer from severe anxiety, OCD, I hear voices and so on and it's gotten so bad despite my hatred of big pharma I'm considering giving psych meds another go. I took them for 10 plus years as a youth and the made me feel next to nothing extreme while probably contributing to me growing breast tissue more than the average male. It got very bad it was hard to laugh on them but I get so much anxiety about so many issues mostly related to pass mistakes. My life admittedly has stuff that from a survival mindset should make me feel somewhat in this direction but this is excessive and makes it hard to just be sometimes and has come interfere with my survival. It feels as if there's just a rock in my stomach during these moments of anxiety and fear. I consulted the tarot if I should get back on the meds and I pulled the hierophant. I consulted it if my life would ever get better again and once again pulled the hierophant.

I feel as if I used the right meds maybe things wouldn't be so bad. Anyone have any suggestions for good psyche meds? Barring that anybody have anything else that might work for me? I dabble in meditation and aughta get more into it so I know that would help but it takes time. Any other things that could help, it's a problem that originates from my gut body feels wise. Lots of worry, waaaaaay too much. The voices twist people's words to speak about me. I grow sick of it, one day I might just crack in a way I might not recover from, I've cracked already almost weekly but never too far, yet.

What are three things your anxiety is triggered by most?
    Do you think a lot?
When my body got better, my mind got better. There's all types of approaches to releasing or strengthening physical issues and their correlating emotions. You will have to explore for yourself what is right for you.
Not that this is a total solution, but have you tried breathing into the area of your anxiety? Especially just leisurely as you enjoy, in spaces where you don't get anxiety flares. Perhaps also you can try and breathe into that area of your body while having a flare.
These might not solve anything for you, but seem like safe approaches that might help you accumulate relaxation in these areas.

The more I was able to get into my body and out of my mind, the more options I had about what thoughts I wanted to identify myself with.
I don't take voices as being others, or me, but I look at them like a passing that I want to connect myself with or not.
If I don't enjoy the voices, I just stop letting them talk.
But I was only able to do that once I started enjoying being in my body.
So I say, find a way to face that anxiety, at your own pace, by your own dose.

        >Breathing into the area of anxiety
You mean like gut breathing? I do deep breathing exercises and it helps but sometimes I'm so anxious my chest tightness and it gets hard to breathe, adding to the fear. I take it you're recommending body sensing and grounding right? If so sounds good to me I used to do those sorts of things but fell off it. I'll get back on em I reckon. Thanks for your time.

Medication can be a great way to eliminate the symptoms in the moment for the sake of temporary relief and performance.
Ultimately there is some underlying agitator that's launching these things forward.

I find whenever something negative is overwhelming me, it sets the stage for me to tend to it. To strengthen that which is being overpowered. I think that has a lot to do with our balance in life, and finding your balance is key.
It's only much more recently that I've been able to control my thoughts, to engage them more voluntarily.
Maybe this is TMI, but I was doing a bit of control oriented roleplay with someone, and this taught me the feeling of control. Then I was able to take that feeling and apply it to my mind whenever it started to spiral.

If your mind is going into anxious places, it's not finding a solution, it's not really even informing itself of a dilemma. It's admitting that it is out of control and something else has dominion over it.
So I started to recognize thoughts that I wanted and thoughts that I didn't want, and not necessarily thoughts that "made sense" based on my current experience. Like if I didn't have money, I wouldn't think about my life as if I was broke, I wouldn't entertain the negative at all.
I would simply recognize what I wanted, like more money, and just direct myself towards that without needing to be there at a certain pace.
The same can be done with health. You can also attune to ideas you might be stuck on, like the afterlife, and as you move towards the ideas, truth can be revealed to you when you are in clarity.

I harbor that our organs reflect our behavior. That each organ represents something behaviorally, and may even be chemically tied to the behavioral expressions. It's similar to a chakra system, but this system can be viewed in many ways.

Where you harbor your anxiety may give you an indication about where you are behaviorally struggling based on your balance and what is appropriate for you.
The gut has a lot to do with feelings of self-hood and self-confidence, as well as courage. If you are leaning forward consistently, this area will become more tense and thus anxious. If you're having thoughts that bring you anxiety in these areas, then something outside of you has influenced your internal selfhood and confidence.

The things you listed seem to be about control over yourself, feeling helpless about power structures outside of you.
          The imposition of hell
          The imposition of poverty
          The imposition of disease
These are all fears that center around both the loss of control, and the way we may feel about the external environments imprinting upon us.

          cont..

It sounds to me like the idea of these things is hijacking you.
Generally I say exposure is the best medicine, but some of these things don't make sense to expose yourself to.
It seems to me there is an underlying theme beneath them all centered around fear of loss, fear of being out of control, and potentially some fear of surrender. I find when I am more spiritually attuned, I'm less concerned about things like this, because there becomes a relationship that informs you that what is meant to come your way will come your way.
The more fruitful I feel to the world the less I need to be concerned about truly bad things happening to me, the rest is just challenges to strengthen me.
Our energy is creative, so if something has gathered agency over you in this area, your energy will be used creatively to add to the pot of potential outcomes of that which you fear.
These fears may not manifest, but the more we energize them the more we add to their creation.

Medication is your choice, but imo, it does not address the root issues, only developing the antidote within you can do this.

If you notice thoughts that you simply don't feel emboldened, strengthened, joyous, etc. about, don't entertain them, shut them off.
If you are having a difficult time shutting them off, spend more time in your body.
If you're having a difficult time attuning to your body, face some pain or discomfort. Enjoy sense pursuits like tuning out with music.
Breathe into the areas of your anxiety.
Practice control over your self at various times, just because.

The simplest answer I can give you is that you are intended to address the part of your self that is associated with your gut.

Thank you very much for your insights. To me I was thinking it was more pain avoidance but a loss of control sounds like a deeper and underlying issue to that. Intellectually and to some level bodily, I can understand pain to be sensory perceptions that interfere with our ego and there lessen our control. When you say breathe into the areas of anxiety what do you mean exactly? Is it simply breathing in fully to the bottom of my lungs or something else?

Try jogging. Exercise fixes a fair few things. I would definitely try exercise before Big Pharma to see if it can be avoided. GL.

I absolutely will and have been exercising and it's wonderful but I got injured at work and have a mild muscle strain that I wanna just rest for at least another week. After that stuff ends though absolutely.

You can get rid of anxiety with NLP.

Not officially yet mind you, but I know if I was honest with a psychologist they would at least list me as that if not so many more labels. I've been through the psych system before, I don't know if I wanna do it again.
