Bro this is my first time hearing about this...but believe me, chills went down my spine..I had drawn an almost identical thing and predicted the colors perfectly too...

I personally don't believe it's remote viewing so much as humans are literally biological computers so we obviously have predetermined outcomes to inputs that are the same for the most part between all of us.
There used to be this old mind game like that where you'd read some words or some numbers and then it would ask you to think of a color I think, and instead you would answer carrot.
Or the same with card tricks, it's psychological I think. Same reason I think shared hallucinations when tripping is just very similar bio computers getting the same inputs and experiencing the same thing as a result

Yeah That's what I thought as well anon tbh. like the code is giving subliminal messages or something about how many structures or what kind of structures..But When I started to just decode the string and guess instead of using my inner voice...the results were terrible. So, Im still confused.

i wrote asian, food, restaurant, neon, modern, urban, red
    drew rough sketch of restaurant
picture was rice field, asian woman in red head covering.
not fully there but somewhat accurate. enough for me to trial this some more. i did get distracted and didn't take a couple minutes to relax my mind.

These piss me off cos I literally cannot relax my mind. It is cranking out images, words trains of thought etc constantly. I can't just allow myself to let stuff pop up without it feeling entirely intentional.
Similarly, I can't meditate cos I can't clear my mind. I just think of situations or concepts and can't stop.
I've tried everything under the sun, and my inner monologue and phantasia just won't abate.

that’s the thing. you’re not really trying to get all that to stop, at least not at first. you just don’t want to ENGAGE those thoughts. you let them roll over you, passively watching them before letting them drift off. it’s a weird dichotomy of both a simple and difficult task, that letting go. and this is, of course, easier said than done. you're going to “fail” a lot and start following threads of thought. it’s important to not let t.hat bother you. there’s no goal with this or destination, you’re just walking a path.

this is coming from someone who, like you, has an almost constantly racing mind. it’s taken years to get to even approach the “don’t engage” state, and i still “fail” frequently, but trying has certainly helped me develop tools to slow the screaming thoughts. lol

He just described basic meditation practice, why is this board full of edgy borderline illiterate morons now? It's not even an occult anymore, meditation is a proven science and that is how you get better at it.

            >In a new review in the journal Nature Human Behavior, researchers Elizabeth Dunn and Dunigan Folk found that many common strategies for increasing our happiness may not be supported by strong evidence. In fact, almost 95% of experiments on three common strategies—spending time in nature, exercise and engaging in mindfulness/meditation—did not hold up to even the most basic of current best practices for showing psychological effects.
            kek
            >At least half a dozen studies published since 2015 have identified and described the meditation and mindfulness research crisis. Its main characteristics are conflicting theoretical understandings of meditation and methodological limitations which include low levels of replication. Although many, perhaps most scientific studies of meditation have been impacted by problems linked to the replication and mindfulness crises. The scientific enthusiasm for meditation technologies since the 1970s has been so great that one-off unreplicated claims for the benefits of meditation have not always been critically evaluated by the scientific community. As Van Dam and colleagues have demonstrated, this has led to the ‘hyping’ of preliminary evidence as robust scientific findings.2
oh look people who actually did the research alr saw you coming..
            >That meditation practice has been scientifically correlated with problems in some practitioners is a significant finding in its own right. But a second issue, the tendency of meditation and mindfulness research to focus on positive outcomes to the exclusion of other considerations also needs to be taken very seriously. When the science of meditation is explored from a historical perspective, this lack of objectivity has been a recurrent problem for a long time, at least fourty years.

I got my information from a university course on psychology around 2018, I'll probably continue taking my knowledge from my professors over anons on /x/.
Although I read that article and it seems to be focused on happiness benefits, my course didn't mention those and instead was about the potential IQ and skill improving benefits of meditation. Do you know if that has been put in doubt within the past couple of years?

and by that ridiculous standard i could quote any fallacious study, even some done by people smarter than you
how dumb are you then for thinking it has any value here
unless you think people can tell how much you know over the internet?

you claimed that your college professor taught you something better implying you know better than "some rando on /x/", which would also invalidate all of the views and opinions you hold btw..
i showed you the studies, one quote was from 2023
and that you go by college standards as the ultimate authority shows another point where you are lacking in awareness, again bringing all your claims into question, since you dont seem to be familiar with the fact that sometimes studies take a while before they change anything, while in the meantime when the relevant studies come out colleges can very well still be teaching the wrong but accepted material all the time
not to mention your inability to read and understand people apparently, which doesn't seem to be a very good quality for a psychologist, or someone claiming their meditation practice is totally raising their iq and levels of awareness

I tried it and it didn't work , plenty of other resources on EerieWeb give genuinely good results up to 64% accuracy on a good day. Psychic weather phenomenon is something to keep an eye out for. You might need to modify your approach to life in general. Also just to be clear , playing with fire us strictly prohibited. Better to spend your days going on picnics or fishing at a remote lake.
