Why is it so common for people to think the TV is talking to them?

Sure it would be a coincedence if it were random but so many people experience the same “delusion” of the TV talking to them. Then they get labeled as psychotic in some way and fed god knows what to forget/stop talking about it. What if they are actually seeing something we normally can’t?

Delirium, schizophrenia, stress, many basic explanations. Could be alphabet agency technology, could be a nothingburger. We need some first hand accounts

For me (labeled schizophrenic afterwards) it wasn’t like they stopped their script to focus on me, it was like they started ad libbing with the undertones of knowing “I was aware they could see me”. They would subtly drop references only I would know (or I thought only I would know) during their regular show broadcast.

Sure that could be a whole lot of coincedences and my brain seeing patterns that weren’t there, but it felt like they knew I was there and they were messing with me until I forgot.

Sounds like you're wanting to move on but haven't yet to me. Unless you're being targeted, you're not someone of importance to brainwash or corrupt, neither am I.

You have to think rationally for a moment. Imagine yourself as the people that can actually do this. Would you be potentially exposing yourself doing it on someone unimportant for a joke? It's a weapon and weapons aren't shoved in your face unless you're the target. No, you'll keep it hidden and use it for a gain in some from, there's nothing but a potential loss from targeting randoms.

Who is to say who is random though? Maybe there is a bigger game being played, and certain people need to play certain hands at certain times. A lot of nothings can combine into a something.

Synchronicities are more obvious to your average moronic person when they come in images and voices. TV also sets your brain in the perfect state to start noticing.

    Good patterns recognition/Delusions/stress/religious
Had it happen to me when I took psychedelics but had it sober also when I studied weird shit but I could always reason myself out with my tism but sometimes I just play into it. Best way is to threat it like a communication with god and make it a mystical experience if you can handle it. Coincides/synchronizity or what you want to call it. Just think it's god. If your a mess who can't handle it. Just go out in nature and turn of your internet/TV/radio and read books.

It's kinda like when your in love then break up and all the love songs have meaning and you think about the person. You can shut it up if your aware or enter that state unknown.

Sometimes I think it could be communications with entities or god but it's hard to prove.read and seen some weird shit so idk.

Start to read about Jung or Neville. Also I think many people don't have that sort of brain/genes/soul to experience it. Some cultures/religions say you need to be a certain age. Idk fascinating stuff. But once you open the box it's always with you in a sense when you start to notice

thank you for trying, everyone else just immediately yells schizo. I get it, but you’re not adding to the conversation. Humor the idea that it’s real for a moment. How is it possible, and why would they do it?

homie…. why the frick do you think scrying mirrors exist?

I’m not gonna have some long, drawn out, annoying, skeptical-ass conversation where I present a bunch of historical examples and testimonies to try to convince you, on the paranormal board, that magic is real. You asked why people think the tv is talking to them, and I’m telling you it’s because they’re staring into a scrying mirror, if you want to know more then look it up, expand your mind, and broaden your understanding of reality. It’s 2024, Ask Siri or ChatGPT to explain it to you or something.

What about when you can predict what the TV will say?
One time I did LSD and could hear the lines in my head a few seconds before the actors said them.

Something about the universal consciousness? Is it tech allowing us to bridge a gap? Did people feel this way about other types of media in the past, like when watching a play or listening to the radio?

    It's a real phenomenon..

Then there is people like lang or whatever he was called and had evidence. The probability is so damn small but it's there.

A whole generation ended up dreaming in black and white because of black and white television.

Television is VERY good at seeping into the unconsciousness, and the brain seems to process the information the same way it processes dreams.

A lot of people suffering mental disorders, demonstrate the same brain activity while awake as someone who is sleeping. Basically, their dreams are seeping into their waking lives. It is thus natural that voices from the television, which influences dreams so strongly, would find their way into people's halucinations.

The TV is talking to you, directly to you, every day, all day and all night.
It does that by subliminal messaging, communicating directly at the subconscious level.
Individuals like you are it's victims.
Humans at my level don't watch TV.

They're not. It's called conditioning, that's why you bought those chips, that car, those clothes - commercials told you to.
Programs lure you in because they're entertaing, but tv execs refer them as delivery vehicles for commercials.
Don't watch ads, they're bad for you(r wallet).

perhaps it has to do with the randomness involved in things heard on the TV in the context it occurs, maybe even it has to do with the intention of the speakers.
