God is a moronic sadist and he thought it would cause me more suffering if I had a better understanding of how good life could be which wouldn't have existed if I had been born in a different time period and also because despite knowing that it's unjustifiable and that he's an evil moron he wants to feel justified in abusing me and he deludes himself into believing that it's reasonable to use me wanting to live a desirable life as an excuse to force me to live an undesirable life where he endlessly abuses me

I don't know anon. Today I'm feeling quite depressed and I'm not entirely sure why.
I don't really understand myself, I seem to have some serious personality issues.
I don't really have anyone I can talk to either. I feel like I could do a lot of good for this world if I could just get over myself.

I don't know, as worthless as it sounds I think "observing" is all I'm really good for. I'm not sure why reality configured itself in this manner, however I'm here consciously experiencing it and that's that. It's nice to be self aware but it's useless when you're unable to actually change anything.

Just being able to be here and be experiencing it is a gift in itself. At low points it's important to remember that. You're a piece of it all and you have a role to play even if you aren't sure what it is yet.

I chose this point because it's upon the precipice of the pinnacle of story telling/reality shaping. Just bide your time, you'll realize that's why you're here as well.

      What happened?

My mother wanted a family, and she went through some really shitty situations, if I weren't here I'm not sure she wouldn't end up homeless while unable to even walk. Problem is, while the experiences she went through weren't her fault she could have prevented things from getting worse, and in the end she got so used to relying on me that she stopped thinking for herself altogether, becoming a lazy slob and used emotional manipulation to get me to continue helping her, even at the expense of my own development in life.

On the other hand, every single person that could easily have prevented things from snowballing was egotistical and almost psychopathic. It got to the point where her family went traveling around the world while she was almost bedridden and stacking up debt due to medical bills.
After all of this I've realised that helping whoever the frick got condemned to be born in this world isn't worth it, most of "good people" are only just wearing masks. It's not worth ti sacrifice a full life her for people that see goodness as an invitation for abuse.

I sympathize, the world is filled with selfish lost people that's for sure though. Better to have helped though and be frustrated, than to not have helped and been plagued with doubts forever after though. I wish you a good brake from all BS in your future.

            >Better to have helped though and be frustrated
I disagree, my suffering didn't speed up her learning, all it did was make me share her pains, and I still had my own problems to deal with. It wasn't worth it. You can learn to live with your doubts, and you can't help everyone, so might as well do nothing for kindness sake and just take care of yourself because no one else will.

I was part of the development team and I got “voluntold” to stop working on my projects to come down here because the help ticket backlog became untenable. I’m essentially a 12D game dev turned makeshift 5D community forum jannie.

It’s literally as stupid as it sounds.
