Why do anything at all?

It seems most people just do things for money. Most of their lives is wasted working on a job for which they get minimum pay to be able to afford housing and food. Sounds like slavery to me. If most people were given a credit card with unlimited money that they never had to pay back, they would all quit their jobs and pass the day not doing much, just relaxing and enjoying whatever their hobbies are.

It's almost not even worth talking to people anymore

They're so venomous and closed off like this one

      [...]

I'm getting all kinds of synchronistic messages lately telling me it's not even worth trying to relate to others anymore, the only people who made me feel like I wasn't completely alone irl are dead now

The people left all behave as husks that actively try to subvert any conversations or refute any ideas that point to the material world as it is being an inherently corrupt and suffocating prison, that there is some higher plane beyond it

I just don't have the energy to try to convince people anymore

This is happening . But there are still people that are going to make you feel alive .
First however you got to learn that most people you meet are not alive as you are .
It s not only a waste it is not respecting the world as is to hope, project, invest, invite them to Life .

Everything is going to be all right .
        Everything will get better .

But being alone and misunderstood made me into the person I am today. Sure, I had to go through a period of all-abounding hatred of everything, especially people, but being at that point makes you appreciate the alternative, in a way that you would not be able to if you haven't been there. "No tree, it is said, can grow to heaven unless its roots reach down to hell", was it? Kind if ironic, when you think about it.

        >I just don't have the energy to try to convince people anymore
Eventually you come to the realization that people are either on the same level as you or they're not and if they're not, no amount of effort on your part will make a difference. People come to the truth when they're ready and not a second earlier and most people have many, many rebirths ahead of them before they're even remotely close to being ready.

Unless people come to you with the specific intent of learning from you then they're not worth wasting energy on. Just smile and nod and go on with your day.

You do it because you enjoy it.
Because the feeling of enjoyment is better than the alternative.
Imagine there's two guys, every night, they are given a pill that makes them forget the last 24 hours. No matter what they'll do, it won't matter.
Now, one of them will have a gorgeous girl visiting them and giving them a blowjob, every day. Which one would you be?
They want you to believe it doesn't matter, because by night you'll have forgotten it.
    Why do anything at all?
But you want to be the one that is visited, because the whole day before night you'll enjoy her company, and before that point you'll know every single day will be worth living, they can't take that away from you, even if you forget it afterwards.

I know someone who genuinely lives by a similar ideal as his fundamental approach to life. He's a close friend of mine, but he's a gigantically Dionysian and immature jerk. It's almost like even mindful hedonism limits one's ability to meaningfully mature as into adulthood. I find most people who share similar perspectives to your post are often very trivializing people while also being prone asserting some very immature notions, such as: violence, blind sexual promiscuity, and inability to account for one's own mistakes or misspoken words.

            Anonymous

In society "maturity" means getting obligations and responsibilities which implies becoming a slave to someone, they want you to do something for them and motivate you by giving you a bit of something you want, that is not enough so you have to keep doing what you don't want for a bit more of it, in an endless cycle.
I found out all you need to do is using magic to solve any scarcity problem and then remaining a manchild that can dedicate your time to fulfilling your hedonist desires.
            There's nothing else.
Once you realize it, it's actually not that hard, but people think they're supposed to remain on their hamsters wheels, so they don't even try to get off it and switch directions.
The happiest people in the world live without obligations or responsibilities because they have enough wealth to do so, and you should strive to be like us.

I feel that the only way to fall into such a trap of circular self-congradulatory justification and pontificating is to either: be extremely narcissistic to an unhealthy degree, or be a Luciferian. The negative state of society does indicate a neglect the observable fact that self-service without meaningful self-growth and humility is a necessarily negative trait in the grand scheme. I'm not going to harp on you for being this way, because simultaneously I completely understand. The reason I make the point is so onlookers will be aware that there are virtuous necessities to maintaining or constructively healing the societal structure. Even Terence McKenna shared similar points as to what I'm trying to get across, from time to time. Say of him what you will, but the fact is: he was an extremely internally and externally aware of factual truths that most others, to this day, absolutely refuse to recognize.

Meditate, learn to understand subtext on a deep level, practice applying the learned subtextual understanding on books and conversations and shows you watch and try to figure out what the true message is without resorting to what most people do such as falling into false correlation paranoia thinking everything is somehow an alien Satanic conspiracy (not that those don't exist, but the more you learn to pick up on things, the more mundane and benign life really seems). >Anything by Alfred North Whitehead or Alan Watts
            >The Secret Teachings of All Ages by Manly P Hall (he was a high ranking Freemason, but the book is just a textbook on anthropology and religious symbolism that upon understanding it in just the first few chapters you'd be at a level of knowledge above probably 80% of people on this website)

Our solar system is assembled to be a sort of clock, so of course those that know how to read the clock can predict things.
If someone analyized 1000 bibles worth of your writing and made a machine that could very accurately predict your writing, would you then deny your own existence as a spirited being and instead acknowledge yourself as a mere inferior computer?
It's just fricked all round. All publically available mythology and spiritual info is only an echo of what is really going on, a distant degraded and poisoned one.

When someone's devotion to God can be read from their natal chart (say Ketu in cancer in their 12th house), how authentic is their spirituality really? In the same vein, when someone's atheism can be read from their natal chart (say Lucifer conjunct their decendant), how authentic is their lack of belief? This realm is just archetypes that we're predestined to follow for unknown reasons.

            Anonymous

Yeah our entire existence is just based on archetypes. Venus literally represents Lucifer, thus we are all influenced by it to some degree. Then we have Rahu, the severed demon head (intellect) who influences us to be atop the hierarchy while Ketu, its body (containing the heart) influences us to give up all Earthly desires. Both of these influences are in our natal charts, tugging us in different directions. Is this what God intended? Just endless internal chaos leading to endless external chaos?

            >The negative state of society does indicate a neglect the observable fact that self-service without meaningful self-growth and humility is a necessarily negative trait in the grand scheme.
I tried both ways, in one I always tried to improve, become better at what I did, I even became a perfectionist with many projects started and only finishing them when I concluded I couldn't put more into them, and they were in the best possible quality I would deliver.
And then I tried this way where I ACCEPT myself in the way I am, so I don't need to grow, or improve or ascend, and I can have whatever I want the way I am.
And in this way I could get all the things I wanted, and got surrounded by people that are preoccupied by knowing if I have them, some wiling to give me access to all their resources in exchange for a weekly call on Sundays.
            What I have learned:
There are two people in this world, the ones that give, and the ones that take, I spend 3/4s of my life being from the ones that gave, and the amount I got in return wasn't even enough to stay in the green.
This last quarter I became from the ones that take, and the more you take, the more is there for the taking, life becomes easy mode, you can get things without even looking at their prices, it's like living in a completely different world, and it's a much better one, you stop being a have-not, and become one of the haves.
I guess this is what the wealthiest people in the world figured out.

        >but also a hedonist
I recently had a similar experience to what you're describing the other anon to be. It's part of my coping mechanism to sometimes indulge in degenerate self-pleasure, and after the climax of one such acts, some luciferian ideas and train of thoughts started popping to my mind.. crazy things like "there's no good and evil", "world is not so black and white", "killing is not sin", thoughts trying to confirm that following certain (Masonic? Luciferian?) hierarchy rewards you, and any sacrifices and victims made in the way of climbing the ladder, is justified by the ends that waits you at the end of the goal (whether you reach highest ladder or staircase is not relevant, but the thought train was trying to convince to "keep climbing").

I may have to make a separate thread on this topic at some point, since it's something I know very little of, but which I'm acutely aware exists, and some masonic figures even have left hints on it in their speech. I was watching Mick Gordon presentation on Doom 2016 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4FNBMZsqrY , and there were couple of moments during this presentation, where he didn't create separation with his word between our real world, or the game world's, meaning some of the things he's describing about the game could apply also to our real world (evil corporation harvesting demonic resource , which the thought to be cool - could be our world's equivalent of Oil , the evil corporation had a ladder you can climb up and eventually you get to be human sacrifice - could be demon cults trying to possess demons on their children with sex magick , or certain mason lodges , the idea that once the idea of putting 666 symbolism on his tracks occurred to his mind it was out of his control already, he was going to put it there at that point, implying this guy is deeply posssessed by demons, maybe due to personality programming or something idk. )

to me its like Shadows vs Vorlons from Babylon 5 , both evil

If I had unlimited money, I would travel the world until I experience every single fricking culture group. I would also donate to friends along the way, rather than indirectly through organisations. Then, once travelled (a form of learnin), I would teach the World what it needs to know so it can heal and unite.

Yes, most people "do" things for money. However their actions lie. They act for money, but their hearts are elsewhere. Youth in the West, China and Japan are giving up on money. Suicide, Lying Flat, hikikomori, drugs, video game and escapism through media consumption... Rebellion, though still passive. For now. It is a sign of the changing tides. Once Millenials end up dominating retirement age voters, all ensuing generations will politically align to vote for any solution. Communist with a twist, Applied Anarchist, Révolutionary Ideologies, something new. This is guaranteed within our lifetime, although the sooner the better.

We are held hostage by the divisions created through mainstream media and nowadays the "high-arousal emotion" inducing algorithms (fear, anger, desperation and lust). AGI is guaranteed to change this, but things can be done beforehand.

Each time one's true desires and passion is bottled up, it will be released later on will massive interest. Sure, in an ideal society most people would just chill and partake in art and culture, yet there is still beauty in this Utopia. Many others would Act, lead, teach, learn, evolve. Revolve.

Step One to a better future is to imagine it. Step Two is to feel it possible through hope. Your despair, I cannot ignore it. However, your despair and the way you phrased the problem is well put and aligns with the views of many. Imagine a Utopia where EVERYONE has a credit card with unlimited funds. At least there would be less suffering.

If you still feel change is impossible, remember what was said about bottled up discontent. Just like money grows with interest rate, emotions do too. The longer the Elites hold us down, the more dramatic, intense and powerfum the unleashing of Judgement onto them will be.

A note from history. The suffering of the French people from the Middle Ages onto the French Revolution was bottled up. The Nobility monopolised culture and money, and the people could not act. The case was true for many European nations. What ensued was 25 years of the most Incredible exertion of Will To Power onto Europe, first by Révolutionary reformers, then by the Big Man Napoleon. The emotional debt was repaid with Great Interest and the Whole World woke up to the failures of the Elite.

The end of History is Nigh. Alexander The Great set such a blinding standard that we all live in his shadow. However there will be three that will end this Darkness, through Unity of All. Hang in there a couple more units of time, and none of you will regret it.

Why do anything ? Because you choose to. Because you feel you can. Because you FRICKING WANT TO!

Because we're here and have nothing better to do? It's not that complicated, anon.

There is a game in life and everybody plays it. Some people are doing nothing but playing it and some people don't play it very much and find other games to play to pass the time, usually because they aren't very good at the main one, or the main game isn't fun to them for some reason. It sucks now because the guys winning are basically attacking all the losers and pulling weird tricks on them to turn them into zombies that do their bidding against their own interest. The longer it goes the more complicated the strategies of the winners get and the less complicated the strategies of the losers get. You need to volunteer for the slavery because all the resources have been vacuumed up already and the people who have them will only give you the bare minimum out of charity, so you need to do stuff for them. It was probably a lot more fun before all the stuff was claimed, but it is starting to feel like endgame lately and it will be interesting to see what happens.

When the game is won you start over, but you have to turn the board over first.

Not really, that way of thinking is what perpetuates it, it turns out it's easy to become rich with magic, become like the people that amass the wealth, and you'll amass the wealth.
