Neither, I'm a realist, what I expect to happen, happens, good or bad.

This basically. I could’ve stopped meeting by now but after my last job experience I’m afraid I’ll sperg out and kill someone. Doing a lot better than then but still have a lot of work to do.
I want to believe in peoples’ ignorance but it’s all just stupidity, they know what they do but don’t care, or enjoy it.

I'm a realist, in that things can be both optimistic and pessimistic.

Pessimist. But whatever bad comes my way I'll be able to deal with and make something good from it. Because I'm not a b***h.

      Always loved this quote.

He attributed it to dating after divorce in your 40s.

Deep down I think we're all divorced, doughy, balding single dads on a spiritual/metaphysical level.

I disagree with your coloring here. Purple is not inherently pessimistic.
I feel called out by the green vs purple choice in your image. I will not explain.

I hope for all troons to kill themselves.
I find solace in knowing it's only a matter of time until they all do
I believe this makes me a realist

I believe the world is bad, but people can have an amazing ability to cope (in a good way, not the meme way).
    Call that what you will.

Things usually skew negative in all contexts. It’s very rare for something to actually be good or improve with time.

Gloomy so I'm surprised when good things happen and appreciate them more. The general public are fricking garbage people and deserve a mass grave.
