What is the truth?

What's the truth behind the universe? Why are we here? Surely there's someone who has actually attempted to honestly, objectively and wholly seek an answer to this. No biases or ulterior motives, no undiagnosed schizophrenia, no clinging onto ideas that personally sound better - just a genuine want for truth and an honest exploration into ALL the mysteries of the world and mankind e.g. UFOs/aliens, Christianity/Islam, the complexity of the universe and the human race, NDEs and shrooms - all of it.

to fully comprehend the act of being would be to shatter any understanding of what it means to be human

I'm ready to learn more. I have a feeling I'm pictured there in that fabric of the universe

all the information you ever needed to understand is written in the fabric of reality itself. every cave painting, artifact, or story in history, every experience and realization you have had growing up, are components of your spirit. you are learning what you are. many say the words "we are the universe experiencing itself", failing to realize what this actually entails. you are not the universe waking up as a human, you are a human waking up as the universe. to pass through this singularity is beyond most peoples imagination. its not just a change in perspective, you awaken as something far more complex than ever thought possible, and witness your real home for the first time

the shamanic path is an initiatory process that can only be truly completed alone. there is no doctrine or master to follow, only the long line of mystics born by blood to be thrusted into the unseen world that penetrates every human mind with little detection. you may be guided but not instructed, shown but not explained. if you are meant to bite the sacred fruit of the holy tree of life, like a strange puberty of a dimension higher, it will happen upon you

    >What's the secret of the universe?
Divine order. That's what it boils down to. Every word for it pretty much means that.
    >mysteries of the world
Same as the above mentioned order. All the mysteries amount to that. There's every kind of power underneath an all powerful being akin to the God of monotheism aka Christianity/Judaism/Islam. He is also known as Brahman or Ahuramazda. He's over all gods perceived like humans or in forms recognizable by humans.
    >Christianity/Islam
Both have genuine forms. The genuine forms are not the aiconic versions we've been sold. They are very much so basic in their essence. Probably the best way to approach Christianity is in the Eastern Church. With Islam, it's Sufiyya and Shia. Embrace Ali as Waliyya Allah. Avoid Sunni or Wahabbi Neo-Sunni. Both are very far off from the genuine article. Same thing with Protestant cults.
    >NDE
Probably someone who experienced the Bardo state without knowing what it was. Pretty typical. The reason you get sent back is because you didn't know what was going on, which is a requisite for Death Yoga.
    >shrooms
One form of entheogen or God-drug. In other words it's a genuine sacrament.

It does interest me that nearly every religion/belief wants to point to the idea of one great god. But if God/the Creator truly exists, then that spawns a load of other questions, like if God is an active god in the universe. Does God want us to worship him? Wouldn't that imply one of the great religions has to be correct? Does God want us to know him/connect with him? How are we to achieve that? And if God exists then that suggests an afterlife too, which is its own concern.

Of course I'm only really asking all this as they're my assumptions of what God would or should be like. But if I created an entire universe with billions of intelligent, living beings, I think I would have had great reasons and intentions.

its not about some supreme god

        its way more than that

why would the practices and beliefs be all about unity and goodness and helping others is the path if ultimately its just one person, doing whatever they want (even if it is somehow "good" for us) and who never had to care about others himself because he created all of it himself - not from himself but out of nothing so as to make us servile and unrelated.

God would know nothing about empathy and selflessness if he were in charge of all of us. inb4 god magic. magic doesnt make you moral. Use the intellect you have, however you got it, if you squander it you lose yourself. We lose you, too, if you chose dogma, old memes, etc over the rest of us who are apparently living with God in absentia.

its negative theology because god isnt like anything you know of so you just can only enumerate what god is not and that gives you some better idea of it slowly otherwise you shock your system..

we are living in it. its close to the darkness controlled outer regions, and within what's called time or perhaps

        Casualty.

but we gotta start somewhere as individuals.

idk if its about worthiness or deserving better that some know about god while others dont... or the reason why people who know dont tend to talk about it. but there is plenty written down and talked about. even here on /x/ is where i found links to some of the best texts. i had time and neetbux to survey all the religions (besides islamb). not that im that old but im not that young either.

"God" is highly limited by divine formations written by those that are pure of heart and intention. It is bound by a living constitution written by these sages and voted on through direct democracy of the enlightened. Its main role at this time is to reset and burn negative/Service to Self entities to give power to positive/Service To Others entities. Due to creation generating from void, and free will being divine law, there will always be negative entities at some level of creation. God is not really the creator of reality but an Absolute energy field that is sitting at rest permeating all of 3D and 5D reality. It is not sentient.

Well, not to go down the magic route, but assuming God, or the Creator, is omniscient, he would know EVERYTHING about empathy, selflessness, what it means to be moral and so on. And if we go down the Christianity route, the literal core of the religion is God being good, loving and empathetic enough to help us. So it's really not impossible for a Creator to be supreme yet understanding.

Also, what has led you to the conclusion that God is the way you describe it?

        >one great god
Ok, so here's where it gets fun. Imagine that the "one great god" is now a giant box that spawns out lesser gods. Those lesser gods are able to do things and act for humanity's best interest. Regardless of who you worship, you ultimately have a higher authority in there too.

That's the Indian solution to the unique problem of having too many gods. Works great and I think it's pretty much the closest to the truth.

          Anonymous

I mean I suppose that works if God is truly open to all of humanity and isn't restricted to one religion, but that isn't really one god, not in the sense of monotheism. And if you're worshipping lesser gods, you aren't directly worshipping The God - and if lesser gods are able to be worshipped, I would've assumed the greater God would also want to be worshipped directly, as he'd be the foremost deserving of it.

Also, how could there be any cohesiveness with all those gods, if they're under one authority, when at times they appear to contradict each other.

With the correct sequence of memetics it's possible to disrupt a bad actor's consciousness attunement and cause their ape to start typing delirious junk. There's complete subversion of the original principles, soul harvesting, blood rituals, and all kinds of horrible things that happened to the word of Kristos. The figure that most people pray to, that golden man with the brown hair, is an imposter and predator. The syllable "J" did not exist in Iesous Kristos's/Yeshua's names. The real Iesous Kristos is blonde and does not radiate addictive golden energy when approaching those with a connection to him.

Why doesn't Iesous foil the plans of the evildoers? They're messing everything up.

Iesous was just a man like you and me. He has the power to establish a kingdom of Heaven, he doesn't have omnipotence. He thought he could return to Earth with a heavenly army and instead found himself in Hell. If he really were an all-powerful God I think he would rule very well.

Islam is the truth but the Christians will never accept it, the same way israelites never will accept Christians. The difference being that the majority of Western society is founded upon Christian principles, yet the crux of the issue is that if you accept the Qur'an, then you also accept that God orchestrated the event to appear to mankind as though Jesus was crucified. Jesus is not even his real name, it's a translation from the Greek name Iesos -- however we also have an actual Greek translation for his true name; Yeshua, and Yeshua actually becomes Joshua.
If you truly understand the implications of founding the Godhead based on a lie, you begin to unravel the secret of how truly fricked humanity is. The Kali Yuga stuff begins to make sense, the anger of God in the old testament begins to make sense, the subversive nature of reality begins to make sense.
The worst part of it all is that Muslims themselves do an absolutely abysmal job of practicing Islam. They don't know how to pray without someone telling them a series of motions, all they do is fight other peoples of the same book and abuse Islamic-sounding words in order to try and score rewards in Heaven. I'm not saying all other religious scripture is a lie, either, just that they are less complete.

Yeah, I have a hard time seeing Islam and Allah as a right or true religion, as I think one would expect God, or at least a god like what Allah is suggested to be, to be the most good and moral. I don't necessarily see Allah as evil, but a lot of what is permitted in Islam doesn't seem good either, more just effective.

The problem with Islam is that Christ appeared 600 years before and told us to beware of changes in he doctrine that are given by angels. Mohammed was given his book by an Angel and holds historically incorrect facts such as Christ was not crucified. It is quite literally a sub-IQ christianity for people who can't reason beyond this world, hence why it is propagated by violence instead of Truth and reason like christianity.

    >OP specifically requests no schizo answers
    >thread is full of schizos with head canon theologies who don't offer any proofs
Classic /x/. Anyway, here's my two schizo head canon cents. There is not just nothing, but something. There is not just one thing, but many things. There not just simplicity, but complexity. There is not just sameness, but diversity. There is not just chaos, but order. There is not just static, but change. There is not just emptiness, but the Universe. There is not just lifelessness, but life. There is not just unconsciousness, but consciousness. Imagine how many things need to go "right" for us just to exist. Yet there is suffering. That there is not just something, but this infinite vastness of everything, shows it is not completely "random". Yet that there is this large amount of suffering in the world that is seemingly meaningless, as it just ends with death, shows there is not an all-loving God, but maybe some universal principle, some kind of intrinsic evolutional emergence where things go from simple to complex just because it is the most basic nature of reality. It's not possible to know anything with absolute certainty besides that something exists so maybe all this is futile. Although there is a possibility you can logically infer the cause of existence from existence itself and its properties, I find that as soon as you ask "where do the laws of logic come from", it all kinda crumbles. Maybe the laws of logic are the ultimate reality then?

      Anonymous

      >Maybe the laws of logic are the ultimate reality then?
Logic always rests on axioms, which are invariably ultimately subjective. It also breaks down at the corners and beginning of the universe, in the singularities where time loses meaning. You can't have logic without causality, and you can't have causality without time. You can't describe a singularity mathematically, except to say "that's a singularity".

Logic is a consequence of how universe operates, and it can and does wonderful things for everyone, but it can't take you all the way on its own.

        Anonymous

        >It also breaks down at the corners and beginning of the universe, in the singularities where time loses meaning.
We don't *know* if time does break down in singularities or not. We do not have the theoretical framework to understand what is going on in there. Again, that's if you even accept scientific knowledge as proper knowledge.
        >You can't have logic without causality, and you can't have causality without time.
It may be possible to have causal events that follow one another instantaneously outside time. If Universe or Big Bang had a start and time began with the Universe or Big Bang, the start could not be a causal or logical event, how is that possible?
        >Logic is a consequence of how universe operates, and it can and does wonderful things for everyone, but it can't take you all the way on its own.
Then we have no hope of solving the mystery of existence. Still, I think we know too little about logic, causality and time to even have the ability to answer this question. I am merely speculating as I am not even a philosopher or a scientist

Unfortunately you'd never get any funding with the state of academics in physics, even studying proven PSI phenomena isn't kosher. Truth is subjective and ever-changing, depending on the individuals experience. Anyone is able to develop an complete understanding of the universe using any available method e.g science, philosophy or art. But the tricky thing is separating objective measurements of existence and the existence itself, since all you´re doing is explaining things after the fact they´ve occured. (Kind of like when you look back on a situation and figure out why someone felt the need to punch you in the face).
