I have realised it's all about community and friendship, not necessarily service to others but enjoying the camaraderie and sharing the experience of life with others. It's funny watching the travel youtubers live their lives compared to someone like me. I have 2 properties, 3 vehicles and 2 businesses but I am lonely and depressed thinking of killing myself because I can't keep doing this shit. My ultimate goal is to sell everything buy a sailboat and answer to no one but the ocean.

      >to serve God.

wrong, the meaning of life is not to serve god, it is to commune with him. Do you actually think that god wants to be worshipped? what type of god would that be? No, god does not want us to worship with him, he wants us to realize him, to become one with him. Jesus indicated the meaning of life when he said: "me and the father are one" he was talking about the state that every human being can achieve by divine communion, and until we reach that state we will have to live multiple lifes, so don't waste another one.

I didnt say worship, I said serve.
God's mother and father serve Him by enforcing rules and punishing God when He misbehaves.
In this way, they feel joy in the service of parenthood.
        >me and the father are one
        Lover and beloved are one.
        Parent and child are one.
        Friend and Confidant are one.
        Servant and Lord are one.
We are already in the state we can achieve. We simply need to revive it.
        By serving God.

Same thing, God didn't create human beings as pets to serve him, And the only way to possibly serve god is to do what our purpose: go back to him, become one with him.

            >God didn't create human beings as pets to serve him
We were never created at all. We are eternal, infinitesimal parts of the Eternal, Infinite Whole.
We are not pets, we are the other part of the infinite, unique relationships God has with all the infinite living entities.
You keep thinking "serve" denotes some superiority. If it is your relationship, then you will serve God by having complete and total control over God.
Who do think is the one served? The pet, or the "owner" that does all the work to care for the pet?
Owners serve their pets. If the relationship is owner/pet, then God would be your pet that you would serve.
            >become one with him
Become one with God does not mean become God.

Very few people actually manage to achieve this, as soon as you breed with the wrong person you missed your chance, you won't feel the change and you most likely won't be a good parent. You really have to understand women do only 2 things:
          -with men they have sex
-and among women, they talk about the sex they had with men

Many women may be like that, but they aren't all like that. The women in my family are all great, the women in my wife's family are great too. My wife is the smartest person I've ever known, not just intellectually, but spiritually and emotionally. There are fantastic women, raised by good parents who can be amazing wives. I have experienced how awful women can be, but I have been fortunate to also experience the best of them. You will never live a complete life without a good wife, and that is true, I've been abused by women, I have hated some of them for the way they have treated me or my friends. But they are also some of the best people I've ever known. You need to find women who have parents with a healthy and happy marriage, preferably the woman should have at least one brother and one sister that she gets on with. If she comes from a good family she has too much to lose by participating in the activities you've mentioned. You only have a one sided view, I have seen both sides, lived experience is worth more than anything else, I can tell you for a fact that not all women are what you say. You also write off the fact that most men are not great by any stretch of the imagination. Why do you think men are so awesome and women are so shit? Don't you see that most of the men around you are shit tier males?

    >What's the real purpose

    honest answer:
the scope of "life" needs to be viewed from the correct lens.
by "life" is meant the current mode of living within the human vessel.

because the goal of this "life" is to develop the next vessel, which goes by many names, like:
    - glorified body
    - rainbow body
    - immortal fetus
    etc.

being able to do that is the "test" within this plane of existence.
if you fail the test, you have a do-over (reincarnation).
in fact, you have been having do-overs for eons now!

the next question may be - what is the purpose of developing higher and higher vessels?

no one knows for sure, but it appears that God (you) is creating a more well suited vessel, non-stop. the physical vessels are avatars or containers for God and since God is infinite, it appears that this ascend and improvement cycle is also infinite.

its an endless upward ascend of improvement, chasing after God.

some argue that this is due to God desperately wanting to understand God (himself). but he can not do that, unless he steps back and looks at himself from a different angle.
and there come all the physical vessels.
it started out with single cell living organisms - there was not much spirituality in that.
then bacteria, then minerals, then vegetable kingdom, then animal kingdom, now (currently), its the human kingdom.

each increase in the vessel yields better faculties for grasping the ingraspable nature of God.
some people are shortcircuiting the system or the whole game, having sort of "satori" experiences, experiencing the divine, but then, when they come back to normal mode of living, are incapable of fully expressing it, but are only approximating those thing with poetry - since the ineffable cant be effed and the Tao that can be spoken of, is not the real/eternal Tao.

we lack the faculties as of yet to do that.

(Continued, as I cut off my post accidentally)
Another simple way to put it is that the meaning of life is to grow, evolve, learn, explore, and develop forever. An eternal learning journey with no real end inside the eternity of possibilities in the universe (if not universES plural, multiverse, or omniverse). To grow and live in ever more and more light and higher consciousness.

Another way this could be put is that the universe is the progressive self-manifestation, self-actualization, and unfolding of the Supreme Creator or Transcendent Principle behind the world (Tao, Brahman, Parabrahman, the union of Paramashiva and Paramashakti, or simply God). Also put in Hegel as the progressive self-manifestation of God or the Absolute within and throughout the universe and history, with a sort of dialectical evolution playing against itself to reiterate on ever higher and higher planes (thesis-antithesis-synthesis, itself the basis for a new triad).

Another simpler way it’s put, is that God wants to know Himself, and be known, through His creation.

        >I was a hidden treasure; I loved to be known. Hence I created the world so that I would be known
The Hadith of the Hidden Treasure

Sri Aurobindo, influenced by both Western and Eastern philosophy (particularly Hegel and Vedanta) put it as God “involving” or “devolving” into the created universe, to reach the nadir of materiality, then slowly yet gloriously progressing back through this creation to a Divine height, taking the created universe along with Himself to this divine plane. Like literally transubstantiating the universe to be the abode of a great aeonic Spirit. Like the terraforming of the universe. The Divinization of the created universe, of which our own theosis contributes to, in however small a way and long the timescale it takes.

We are all the fallen Angels of the bible proving to God that he can accept us back after we all rebelled. The Bible clearly states this that God cast to earth, satan and all his followers.
We are that group of fallen angel that were sent with satan needing to prove that we can love God again and not rebel (follow satan which rules this world). It make a lot of sense if you think about a loving God giving satan a place to do as he likes along with all his followers. Think long and hard about this fact. It will change your attitude and understanding of what Earth is.
Repent (turn away) from your transgression against our Father and ask for His forgiveness so we can return to paradise or we will suffer in hell.
The reason we rebelled is, as Angels and the first created beings, we are jealous of Human and God's love to them through His Son. We rejected Jesus in Heaven so the Father sent us here to live like we want. No knowledge of God from

I don't believe we are fallen, we are simply here because we lost contact with the host civilization we descended from, and we have yet to reestablish contact. I believe this is because the host civilization underwent an enourmous metaphysical metamorphosis while we have been here, which we did not achieve at the same rate of evolutionary speed in our solar system because the conditions of life are different here, and the evolutionary development takes significant amounts of time to perfect itself.
There is basically two paths here. Souls coming into fully formed sentient bodies, and souls which incarnated through all the life forms on a planet from its primordial beginnings to this very moment.
What an 'angel' is, might be far different than we imagine. From what I can tell, whatever we are, its connected to various other life forms all across existence. Somehow we have this transcendent light body, but it seems much more like it took the long way from primordial self awareness through numerous steps of exploration and expression to now. I don't mean it sequentially incarnated through every form of evolution until now, but that the life form as a whole, aka the entire ecosystem and its genetic principle evolved itself continually, and that we were involved at different steps of the process as well as we are now here living as human beings.
Why are we doing this? I think its some kind of terraforming process. Basically different entities came here to colonize this biological ecosphere and create an environment that they could use to evolve themselves as physical sentient entities. Why is this important? I believe that the other host civilization wanted to continue the cycle of life forms living at this level, in order to colonize existence and continue the existence of sentient entities that live inside the universe. There are numerous nonphysical life forms across creation, but the physical environment we humans inhabit as basically the frontier.

The biological imperative is the only built in goal. Granted, that can count for a lot, if you extended it beyond yourself, to your species, and to all life on the planet. Spread and multiply is what life does, and trying to spread life to another world, all while trying to maintain a society that can thrive, multiply, and aim towards spreading further, without overwhelming the system and burning itself out, while performing a role in that effort and also raising your own family as your personal contribution to carry on that tradition, is certainly a goal that would keep everyone occupied for millennia.

Beyond that, we are meaning making machines. We set goals and define our own purpose and/or choose to inherit purpose from those that came before us, both individually and collectively. So, yeah, ultimately "it's what you make of it", for as a conscious being, you're perfectly capable of ignoring your biological imperative and everyone else's. Not so much a cop out answer, as the goddamn truth, so long as you ignore the goals your biology comes with, and you can survive doing that.

It's literally what you make of it, homosexual. Because its people who can have goals, not nature. Nature is just there.

    Death

Life is arbitrary. Nobody actually has the right to live and nobody asked to be here.

Didn't you read about The Big Bang? It's not really a Theory. "Space" is out there moving. Everything is arbitrary. The United States Constitution is the most intelligent single sheet of paper ever recorded.

We are here to be happy or die.

Don't ever let a sheep homie feel like he's your equal
Don't ever let a weak homie feel like he's in safety

life doesn't have a purpose. life doesn't require a purpose. purpose is a concept we attribute to things not the other way around.

& when there is no purpose, you are free to make your own, so no, it's not a copout answer, you sheep!
i suspect the reason you think so is because you're the kind of dumbass who needs a leader, who feels comfortable with a leash around your throat.

think for yourself, you fricking sheep!

Propagation and reforestation. You have to plant as many trees and restore as much ecosystem as you can. In the future there will be a quantifiable points system on the basis of ecological impact and if your score is negative, your descendants build an artificial hell to revive your consciousness in as punishment

There is no goal, that is a very western centric, human centric way of looking at things. Things just are, if you want to get philosophical, then we are a mirror staring into itself reflecting and refracting it's own light, we are the snake devouring it's own tail. Things just fall and follow into the most efficient form.

    >What is the overall goal of life?
To have a net positive effect on the world/yourself, thus adding meaning to your existence and making sure that purpose does not stagnate as a concept for as long as life exists.

If you become flawed more than your current situation asserts, you will always have the fundamental clarity, either by others or yourself that you have not been worthless and you should be able to look back on your virtues to lessen any mental problems and doubts you get in the future.

    General refinement.
Samsara is Divine fracturing itself into innumerable pieces and experiencing itself from all angles. Think of it like prestiging in Call of Duty. This is like a vacation where Divine beings can experience "Level 1" all over again with amnesia. The idea is that after you spend a while as a Divine being, you get sort of bored and want to experience starting at square 1 all over again.

You are a fragment of God implanted into a physical/animal body and subject to disease, aging, and death. The goal of 'life' is to transcend your shackles and do some crazy shit. As to what that is idk, maybe suplexing archons or something.

Check out your North Node sometime. It should at least help you get the right idea eventually.

Make your own meaning or don't, that's not copping out, it's locking in.

    There is no meaning
You can cope all you want around this but life is void of meaning. It's terrifying but even more terrifying is being in denial about this. You can sit idle and wait to die or you can join the rat race and climb the ladder or you can be a coomer or degenerate or whatever. It doesn't fricking matter and your life is short spark across eternal nothingness.

You can cope all you want about this but you know I'm right
