What do you think happens to people who commit suicide after death?

I'm going to be honest, I've given up on my life. I know I'll never be happy so why waste more time? I just want a clean slate. I've heard everything happens for a reason but clearly there must've been a mistake cause this doesn't feel right at all. I'm not religious but I am into spirituality so I wonder what you guys thinks happens to the soul of someone who takes their own life?

Well, for one you're already in a low vibrational state. You're going to have a bad time. The suicide itself will have an impact based on how sad and painful it is. Having to face other people's sadness on the other side at your death will also probably drag you down. You have no connection to a higher power so you're going to end up walking the Earth or getting harvested at this level.

It's really not worth it. If you're feeling this bad check into inpatient care and see if you can't get something to boost your mood. There's lots of people dealing with the same problems you are, you might even make a friend or two. It's ok to use chemicals as a crutch if it'll save your life. good luck and best wishes fren...

What do you mean by harvested? Sounds terrible lol. I appreciate the advice as well but I guess my dilemma is just that I'm disinterested in this life. I have a desire to live life just not in the circumstances or the position I was born into. Like the list of things I want to change about myself would basically require me to be born in an entirely different reality, it's not salvageable. If I keep living, I'll probably end up even worse mentally by the time I die of some natural cause so I doubt my afterlife experience will be much better. Idk this is such a shitty position to be in...

            Yes it will.
            Look at Eckhart Tolle.
Had deep, deep depression, and meditation changed his outlook on life, to remove suffering.
His path isn't the path I would recommend, as many religious paths will remove suffering, but its a well known example.

If you still believe your life circumstances are the cause of your suffering, then you are actually the perfect person to undergo meditation, and introspection, and realize that this is false and that it can be changed.

            Oh I read that wrong.
Yeah meditation won't likely do much for your physical state.
But when you change your mindset, it changes how you perceive the world. Like removing a foggy pair of depression glasses, and replacing them with a brighter shade.

Given these circumstances you may go through an intense and long period facing your fears, wounds and pain, while being harvested by negative entities. If lucky you may be totally absorbed and cease to exist.

But most likely, youR essence may devolve and incarnate lower and lower, suffering intensely, until you find your bottom and start climbing again.

Best option is to face this life as it is: a temporary prison so you can develop higher values. A bad life here usually means a steep evolution and greater rewards.

    > what you guys thinks happens to the soul of someone who takes their own life?
After you die, your spirit leaves the physical body, and your senses are amplified, so that you can communicate psychically with other spirits, and emotions are amplified many times stronger - so pleasure can be much greater, but pain can also be much greater.

After death, your subtle body, which is your spirit, and is the real you, is the EXACT SAME as before you left your physical body.
This means you will still have the exact same emotional trauma, except the emotional pain could be amplified by being outside of a body.

So there are several things wrong with suicide per se: (1) It is selfish to inflict this pain on the people who love you, and the community you grew up in, (2) You're not really escaping any pain by suicide, in fact you might be amplifying it and have uncomfortable afterlife situation.

So instead the solution is you got to seek some type of religious devotional practice right now, and pray for the pain and suffering to be removed. If you make a dedicated effort, of hundreds of hours praying and reading scripture, then it will happen. And when the suffering is removed, you will probably also lose the desire to end it. And secure a much better afterlife.

Anyways in the mean time watch some NDE experiences of suicide. Many of them say they have instant regrets.

It's difficult for the soul to experience growth or change when it's not engaging in physical sensory experience, this is the reason people end up willingly choosing to reincarnate and the reason dying in a whirlwind of negative emotions will impact the state of your soul when it crosses over, because it will do so while being in that extremely miserable and shocking state people who commit suicide over desperation experience, and as i said, they will keep that state.

If you commit suicide in a calm and positive manner there won't be any backlash, but that's not the case for most people who go through this.

Of course you do, whether you're coerced or not it's a different story. But one will usually choose to reincarnate purely for experiential gain whether that entails earthly suffering or not, we don't perceive suffering the same when we're lacking a physical body, only the chance to experience matters and the only way is to reincarnate.

I sincerely doubt that time would dilate eternally. It’s probably not possible from the perspective of the person experiencing it, especially in cases of sudden brain death inflicted from severe physical trauma. However, I do believe there are some solid cases for reincarnation and NDE’s that make me believe the afterlife is possible.

Start reading about history of religions and spirituality, and you'll notice the word "breath" pops up a lot, across many different cultures and ages. That word essentially symbolizes our very own life, but what I like about its use is how obvious it is. It's not some huge absurd secret, it just is: you are always breathing without realizing it, and that simple act allows you to live in this world. There's some inherent beauty to living, even if you have to detach it from the way things have become around you. I'm well aware it's not really that simple convincing you because I don't know you personally, nor exactly you like talking about, or what you always wanted to say but no one made you comfortable to say so. In fact, it may very well be that my answer doesn't resonate with you at all, but from my perspective I might as well try, right? To answer you more clearly: considering suicide is the very act of removing your own life, the only truth you actually have (think about it: everything you perceive, know and imagine are based inside our own, singular mind. As such, your life, your breath, you as an entity, that's all you know, and your existence by default is nothing short of spetacular for defying a soulless, breathless world), and it is always an act brought from suffering, you can't logically expect the consequences to be better than what you currently face. What I can say from experience is that whoever is around you will certainly feel it horribly. Not only that, but given what I just told you, losing this miraculous breath would be quite a pity, even if there is no afterlife, right? As other anons have pointed out, if you instead perceive yourself as a powerful soul fighting against a world constantly trying to diminish the importance of your breath, you may find a better purpose. It's tiresome, but this path could shine some light on you, something you'd never see otherwise. Only one way to find out.

Hang on for 3 months anon. If I'm right, and i think I am, Satan and the fallen angels will invade earth in early September. So how does that help? On the surface it doesn't. You life will get worse, life in general will get worse. But at that time revelation says god willbe looking for workers. People who hate their lives, hate the world and aren't afraid to die. You'll be going up against those evil ones. Only a person like that, could or would do it. There is a reward. God pays his workmen. In this case, when you die you'll be brought back to life to live a 1000 year lifespan in what essentially will be the Garden of Eden. No evil, no crime, no taxes, you'll nevere get sick, free food, nothing but an easy life of rest and relaxation with frens for 1000 years. That's what you get for trading the rest of your life, staying loyal, and standing tough.

    From what I gather;

This realm of existence is a form of purgatory. I'm not sure as to whether this means in a previous existence there was a transgression that needed to be atoned for, or rather that all souls must go through this process for some sort of "preparation" for the end.

Each cycle (Life, eternal recurrence, etc) allows us opportunities to make progress within our own souls and who we are to become. The catch-all being that Suicide seems to 'reset' this cycle. We are meant to endure hardships, and pain, and unending sorrow. However, whatever divine entity(s) that designed our current consciousness give us just enough reprieve and solace for what we can truly handle. That being said, not everyone can make it through, and some cycles are just a lot worse than others. Whatever awful things you've seen happen to others, you've likely had a cycle where you've experienced the same emotion/trauma - even if the administration was different due to physical circumstance.

Even if life is living hell, literally all you have to do to win the game and make actual progress is not have a nice day. I'm not sure how to self-destructive habits play into this (etc. smoking, excessive drinking), I guess the intention behind the act subconsciously would have to be suicidal in nature.

Suicides have to reincarnate into physical life.
It’s just the way it is.
You must learn how to handle circumstances and challenges with creativity before you are ready for what awaits in the higher dimensions of existence.
    Every suicide is different, naturally.
For example. The soldier who leaps onto a grenade will not face the same circumstances of reincarnation as the disturbed drug user who overdoses.
But both will have to reincarnate.

Of course we choose the lives we live silly. You’re not supposed to remember when inhabiting physical life.
You can get glimpses in altered states of consciousness (I recommend NOT using drugs to do this) of other lives lived.
The point is to respond to positive suggestion. I’m pretty sure a lot of the negative emotions expressed in this thread are from people who probably haven’t hydrated, exercised, meditated, and are staring into their computer screens or phones for a long time.
That stuff can have an effect and if we’re not paying close attention to our emotions and why we’re feeling what we feel in the present moment we run the risk of justifying the emotional state and going too far with it.
We’re the ones in control. We can change anytime we need to.

What are you trying to improve yourself for? Everyone I see trying to improve themselves seems to care solely about how it can help them in this material world. They want money, power, sex, fame, to "become a god" and they see spiritual growth as a means to those ends. It seems so petty and small. None of it is real and it is completely pointless. Even if there is no consequence or karma it's all an illusion anyway. You're still trapped in the dream and you are going to die anyway. I believe that intent shapes your world. Weak intent is weak at that, of course, the tragic state of affairs for normal people. If you intend to literally die...I have no clue to be honest, but I would assume you either cease to exist if you cannot bear ANY existence, you start re-living your trauma if it has become a faith for you after death (everything "there", you without a body, gets instantly materialized and is more real than here) or you actually might have an isekai moment and live another life. All in all however, it is absolutely wasted potential. Live life and cultivate your being or the afterlife won't be as neat.
