Why are there no characters in the series that are male in the matrix but come out of the pod female or vice versa?

      Anonymous

Because the residual self-image is not of spiritual body but of the present state of the physical. Perhaps some people simultaneously transitioned in the Matrix and were fed the hormones in the pod

        > but of the present state of the physical
Then why did neo’s hair come back and the plugs go away? It seemed more based on how you viewed yourself vs how you actually were, and I can’t imagine the machines pumping the pods with hormones for any reason then to promote sexual activity within the matrix.

          Anonymous

They have to have hair and no plugs so I'd imagine they patch that so they wouldn't know it's simulated. It could be a "here's what (this) body would look like out-of-pod, without plugs"

Well they didn't create the story. They stole it and made it a movie. Only the first one was fair. The rest was more of a technological doomsday trilogy. The last one, and the coming ones, are money grabs.

AI destroying humanity? Terminator did it first. The getting-into-internet twist and the fabricated messiahs was fair enough.

    The rest is Hollywood horseshit.

Babylon magic demon summoning wizard weenie occultists and those Zionist Freemason 666 Star of Remphan gangsters using mind control tactics in mainstream media to shape the collective mind in their unholy ìmage. 666, the beast, the material mind. The constant psyops are nothing to do with greed as they already have all of the money and power they could want. They want to enslave people. But they can only do so if you are pacified and complacent. To them, this is a form of consent and enables them to get more of what they want. They basically worship demons but they think that they are gods. Some of them know what they are doing and aren't even ashamed to admit it. Others are in the closet about it and lie. Especially on here. Lots of weird Satanists and Discordian types pretending that isn't what they are.

        Death of the author.

The Matrix has universal themes, and most of them are readily apparent. The movie's about freeing your mind from the shackles of mind control modern society has imposed on you. It's about how we're all mired in a web of propaganda and illusions that blind us to our enslavement. Morpheus says this almost word for word when explaining the matrix to Neo:

Morpheus: The matrix is everywhere... it is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.
        Neo: What truth?
Morpheus: That you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else, you were born into bondage, born into a prison that you cannot smell or taste or touch. A prison for your mind.

The only debatable meaning here is the nature of our prison and the real-world matrix. In my opinion, the machines are the ruling class, the plugged-in humans are the asleep, brainwashed majority, and the free men like Morpheus and Trinity are the aware, revolutionary minority.

We're programmed from birth to think that wageslaving is both normal and necessary, yet many of us have experienced the ennui of Neo in that office building, working a job he hates for a dickhead domineering boss, a job that likely involves a lot of busy work and quite likely contributes nothing of value to society. There are a lot of other illusions we're programmed to accept, but this is just one example.

The other movies in the trilogy went off the rails a bit, and they didn't have the same cohesive thesis as the first. They explored ideas about free will and revolutions being part of the system's control apparatus that were mildly interesting, but in my opinion not well fleshed out.

Its all based on the work of Jean Baudrillard you pinhead. They started throwing some Gnostic Christian shit into the sequels but the whole film is just a combination of Terminator, Neuromancer, and SEL with some vague postmodern messaging behind it. The Wachowskis didn't really understand Baudrillard's books at all and the Matrix is literally what they thought his books were about.

          https://baudrillardstudies.ubishops.ca/the-matrix-decoded-le-nouvel-observateur-interview-with-jean-baudrillard/

fast forward to some point in video where he talks about the movies

Maybe I don't understand his theory well enough, but the whole criticism he gave, to me seems very surface level. Like we live in reality where entities are real, they're constantly manipulating our lives one way or another (try doing music or creative work without being in contact with spirit world in some way, you can't). There are so many layers of manipulation and corruption in our reality, that I see his criticism/disagreement on how the movies portray some of the stuff to be trivial. Maybe I could be agreeing with him without knowing because I don't understand his theory well enough, idk, but I just think he's not very good conveying his message in his response to the movies.

            Socrates writing about plato's cave
In his most famous work, The Republic, Plato presents an allegory that has captivated philosophers and thinkers for centuries. The Allegory of the Cave is a thought-provoking tale that explores the nature of reality, knowledge, and the human condition.

            The Story

Imagine a group of prisoners who have been chained in a cave since birth. Their legs and necks are fixed, forcing them to gaze at the wall in front of them, never able to look around or see the world outside. Behind the prisoners is a fire, and between the fire and the prisoners is a raised walkway with a low wall, where people walk carrying objects or puppets “of men and other living things” (514b).

The prisoners believe the shadows on the wall are reality, and they spend their days discussing and debating the meanings of these shadows. They have never experienced anything else, and they are convinced that the shadows are the only truth.

One prisoner, freed from his chains, is taken outside into the sunlight. He is initially blinded by the light and unable to see the world around him. As his eyes adjust, he begins to understand the true nature of reality. He sees the world as it truly is, and he realizes that the shadows on the wall were only a pale imitation of reality.

            The Journey to Enlightenment

            Anonymous

The freed prisoner returns to the cave to enlighten the others, but they are resistant to his message. They are comfortable with their understanding of the shadows and are skeptical of the freed prisoner’s claims. They are unwilling to leave their familiar world and venture into the unknown.

The allegory is a powerful metaphor for the journey to enlightenment. The cave represents the world we experience through our senses, and the shadows represent the limited understanding we have of reality. The freed prisoner represents the individual who has gained knowledge and understanding, and his journey to the outside world represents the pursuit of wisdom.

            Philosophical Implications

The Allegory of the Cave has far-reaching philosophical implications. It suggests that our understanding of reality is limited and that there is more to the world than what we can see and experience. It also highlights the importance of education and the pursuit of knowledge, as the freed prisoner’s journey is a metaphor for the process of learning and growth.

In conclusion, Socrates’ writing about Plato’s Cave is a thought-provoking exploration of the human condition. The allegory is a powerful tool for understanding the nature of reality, knowledge, and the human experience. It is a reminder that there is always more to learn and discover, and that the pursuit of wisdom is a lifelong journey.

The Slave Boy Experiment in Plato's 'Meno'
What does the famous demonstration prove?

            The Soul Immortal
Plato meditating on immortality before the butterfly, skull, poppy, and gravesite of Socrates about 400 BC
            READ MORE
Plato's Meno: Virtue, Knowledge, and Its Teachability
            By Emrys Westacott
According to Socrates, the boy's ability to reach the truth and recognize it as such proves that he already had this knowledge within him; the questions he was asked simply "stirred it up," making it easier for him to recollect it. He argues, further, that since the boy didn't acquire such knowledge in this life, he must have acquired it at some earlier time; in fact, Socrates says, he must have always known it, which indicates that the soul is immortal. Moreover, what has been shown for geometry also holds for every other branch of knowledge: the soul, in some sense, already possesses the truth about all things.

            Anonymous

Some of Socrates' inferences here are clearly a bit of a stretch. Why should we believe that an innate ability to reason mathematically implies that the soul is immortal? Or that we already possess within us empirical knowledge about such things as the theory of evolution, or the history of Greece? Socrates himself, in fact, acknowledges that he can't be certain about some of his conclusions. Nevertheless, he evidently believes that the demonstration with the enslaved boy proves something. But does it? And if so, what?

One view is that the passage proves that we have innate ideas—a kind of knowledge we are quite literally born with. This doctrine is one of the most disputed in the history of philosophy. Descartes, who was clearly influenced by Plato, defended it. He argues, for instance, that God imprints an idea of Himself on each mind that he creates. Since every human being possesses this idea, faith in God is available to all. And because the idea of God is the idea of an infinitely perfect being, it makes possible other knowledge which depends on the notions of infinity and perfection, notions that we could never arrive at from experience.

The doctrine of innate ideas is closely associated with the rationalist philosophies of thinkers like Descartes and Leibniz. It was fiercely attacked by John Locke, the first of the major British empiricists. Book One of Locke's Essay on Human Understanding is a famous polemic against the whole doctrine. According to Locke, the mind at birth is a "tabula rasa," a blank slate. Everything we eventually know is learned from experience.

I wasn't into the same type of erotic hypnosis, but i was into another fetish.
I can confirm it does change you slowly and what that could be is demons entering and making themselves at home in your mind and body.

I lament not having a lot of money sometimes, but when I look at these clearly tortured soul I thank God in heaven for a humble life.
Spiritual protection manifests as anything from God saving you from death itself, to just keeping one humble enough to call on and be close to him. The more i think of his grace and mercy the less I want anything material.

Edgy, once you see the darkness you will hopefully realize there is indeed the opposite and seek the Lord. Have a great weekend.

I have seen the darkness, and the darkness is merely an arm of a power which uses both light and dark to dominate the world.

It’s a false light. The light that is being presented to you is a mere imitation of the true light. For where there is light there is no darkness, and yet even in the nations where the “Christ” conquered darkness still prevailed. This is because darkness is the true nature of this power and the light is a way for it to have access even into the lives of the good.

        Gnosticism is just Luciferianism Jr.
A roundabout way of saying God, the Alpha and Omega and creator is evil. He is not evil. He is good and his law is perfect and just.

I get it. I wanted to believe EVERYTHING except Christianity.
That's why I'm here. This place lead to a lot of dark roads. I'm just back to witness where I can..maybe to atone for all those years of confused, occult knowledge given.

I'm trying to save you a lot of wasted time and energy. Just stahp. Get a Bible and pray. It doesn't have to be complicated.

Gnosticism is gay and regarded and the “Demiurge” didn’t make us; however, I use that terminology because that’s the best thing to describe whatever it is that’s slowly taking over the world.

          >A roundabout way of saying God, the Alpha and Omega and creator is evil
"Gnosticism" can mean many things depending on who's version you're getting (the same could be said of Christianity. The terms are not mutually exclusive).
So your statement may be true for some so-called Gnostics, but that's not the whole picture. In Gnosticism, Jesus claims his father is the Most High, the God which transcends all human categories i.e. Alpha and Omega. God is Good, Christ is Good, the Holy Spirit is the Breath which binds the Most High and God-In-Man (Christ, epitomized an actualized completely in Jesus). Gnosticism in this context states that the world, and the lord of it, is evil. Is it not shown clearly that Satan is lord of this world?

and all the pagan 'you are your own master' stuff is as well. I've spent like 7 years exploring all these practices and I came out confused too. One of the only things that I can definitely say is I came across some very sinister and evil stuff but at the time my conscience was so dead that I never seemed to notice.

If a blue pill or red pill was given to me, I don't think I'd take either and go have sex with my dick intact thank you very much. Why is this paranorormal? Seems pretty straightforward.

Knowledge alone wont save you from the archons of this world. They probably got trapped into a system by those with power over them.

I'd like to believe they were coerced/corrupted by the industry/people around them. It's like if you enter a secret society with good intentions, eventually you might be led to do things you don't want to do.
