It's a fantasy world with giants, centaurs and magic. The end of othe world happens and you have to lead a caravan to safety. An underground race emerges from the inner earth at the same time but as it turns out they're running from the same thing you are running from

I enjoyed it, I don't like a lot of the buzz it gets, but when it came out I liked it as a sort of postal 2 do-whatever-the-frick-you-want shooter. I actually like the world building and artstyle too, Ville's new mech game seems cool.

Morrowind, no other game goes so deep and wide.

This all the way. I find more depth and wisdom in some of the in-game books than most of the stuff I find in RL.

he is not being delusional the depth is excessive and in no way needed by the game

I've never played it but one of my friends is a TES nerd and he'd send me flow charts and shit about religious beliefs in Morrowwind. I could recognise some of these concepts as lifted from traditional metaphysics. Although the way they were portrayed was not always the best, it's really surprising to see some semblance of traditional metaphysics in a video game.

Morrowind is divinely inspired. there are tons of works of media that are divinely inspired but likewise there are lots of false prophets and discernment is not easily procured.

Well, I really enjoy Starsector, idk if it has any profound meaning or truth it can convey, but with some mods to make front lines move around and expand on colonization options, it can be very compelling.

I always end up being a black market dealer running weapons, soldiers, organs, and drugs to the various more dangerous factions. At some point, I cash in the reputation by flipping sides and doing huge legit deals for the more established factions to get superior military equipment in return. I'll flop between both sides of the war, and maybe even find a more secluded, smaller conflict between a fledgling colony and small pirate base, do what I do and keep the notes on what the pirates on working with on hand in case a bounty is declared on their base. Tritachyon and the Hegemony's stuff are nice, but the best toys are the ones with still-running automated defenses from empires past in the far reaches.

Starsector has told me a lot about myself I wouldnt have learned otherwise, as I lack the capital to start a breakaway civilization myself.

I love this since it really captures the existential threat you suffer and does a good job emphasizing it. It really is Man in a world of material strife.
