define free will. if you're the product of deterministic physical process you can still say you have free will because you are those physical processes, there's nothing external forcing you to act in a certain way

you are arguing that if the future is already written then free will doesn't exist?

          Anonymous

          This is a simple fact.
If the future is written then no you don’t have free will.
The future IS written, so no you don’t have free will.
Time is not linear but fluid and it’s all already happened.
I did some dice experiments back in highschool that proved this.

The only reason it's written the way it is is because you will have made the decisions that made it that way.

            Anonymous

Yes, but I was always going to “make those decisions”
The future is solid. It already exists and is determined to be what it is. Your “choices” have already been made.

I think it's very complicated for human brains to understand, but I don't think we have free will as human person. But the master of the puppets is also you (and me) - I have once experienced it when the dreamer lift the veil and showed that all the moronation as well as all the beauty is just created by him (who I remember being) and it was all as it should be. Even the cosmos and the world feels so complex for us, it wasn't for that entity - it was just "simple" day dream.

It kind of remained unclear if we could affect things with our will, but how I see it is that if we do - it was already so. If something happens, it would have always happened. We born with certain genetics, to certain environment and even if it feels like we are steering things with our will, we were always determined to do that with the history we have. It is bit complex to think about - and I can't say this for certain, but how it could be otherwise?

We have free-will, because nobody was before us, we are enternal, formless truth manifestations.

But within this realm, you take on form and the zodiac wheel determines your path and the desires of your heart.

Your mind stays pure and in truth.

We do have free will. It's the main difference between animals and gods. The extent of our true power is unknown. Our abilities are stunted whilst in the physical.
Good and evil exist because of free will. Every decision you make matters greatly. Everything you do and say changes the Universe.

yes we're puppets. we will always be a slave to our pre programmed minds and to other human beings. soon enough everyone's mind will be enslaved by an AI neural network which already existed for decades and was set up by US federal agencies. targeted individuals understand how imprisoned a mind can be and soon enough it wont just be a few million, it'll be everyone even its creator.

This realm is an illusion, all of its laws and story-lines. It devours you by turning you into a materialist.

You are enternal in your creativity and in your truth. There is only one you and there will never be another you and this goes for every soul.

the conclusion that we don't have free will is just the crystalization of mechanical thought, which inevitably concludes, by its very structure, that free will is not possible.

that's all arguments are, they are crystalizations of mechanically constructed concepts, so of course they structurally will conclude that free will is impossible.

Hypothetically. In practice the world we live in is a grandly designed tapestry ruled over by pantheon, wizards, druids, demons, angels, and the like. The thoughts we think are not our own. The choices we make are not our own, or if they are, greater introspection and study leads one to discover that in fact they are all decisions which are preemptively mapped out. There is maybe a moral right or wrong but in practice the choices that we make will always have a negative consequential outcome. When you really find out what this world is, it's easy to become scared, but the grandiose nature of it all is something to admire nonetheless.

You have to do everything but it's up to you in which order. So it's debatable If you have free will because you are free to experience everything or if you lack it because you have to experience everything. But you only become an actual puppet out of your own effort. Because unlike many who think we are born with strings attached and have the ability to cut them the reality is that all puppets unknowingly bound themselves up and gave the end of the rope away.

Under law and society you don’t have free will.
Government won’t allow you without a fee/consequence therefore there is no “free” will.

Wanna eat? You have to pay for food

Or grow something, or go fishing, or collect shrooms, or beg, or put on a suit and sneak into a corpo event with free snacks, or, or, or.
All without fee or consequences. You put those on yourself.

        >forced to fishing

        >forced to collecting shrooms

It's blatantly obvious that we have free will and anyone who denies it is a delusional idiot.
We're constantly making intentional choices. Yes, plenty of what we do it automatic and plenty is habit, and our past experiences inform our decisions, and external circumstances can limit our freedom to various degrees, all of that is true. But when somebody asks me if I want pancakes or eggs for breakfast, I'm making a free choice, and yeah in making the decision I'll take into account various factors like how hungry I am and whether I'm on a diet and what I'm craving more and all kinds of things, but I'm still the one making the decision.
All of this is so fricking obvious, you have to be extremely irrational and borderline brainwashed to deny it.

As a prophet even with the free will I am unable to change the outcome of predestined happenings so what's the point of having it?

This is a big fat false.
You were always going to choose what you chose. We have the ILLUSION of free will, but we literally don’t have free will. The fact you think we do shows that YOU are the brainwashed one.

        Anonymous

        >The fact you think we do shows that YOU are the brainwashed one.
You're criticizing me for something that you just claimed I have no control over; if you truly believed your deterministic bullshit, you wouldn't criticize me because you'd recognize that if I've been misled into false beliefs it's not my fault because I have no control over my actions, nor are those who brainwashed me even at fault because they have no control over their actions.
But wait, that means you also aren't at fault for criticizing me because you have no control over your actions.
So I guess under your worldview everyone is behaving all the time as of we all have free will, treating one another as if we all have free will, talking as if we all have free will, even structuring society as if we all have free will, and we're all just a bunch of delusional morons for it because we don't have free will.
But hey if we don't have free will then it's not our fault that we're delusional morons because we have no control over our actions.
Man what a great belief system you've got there. It really makes a lot of sense. (I'm being sarcastic, your belief system is fricking idiotic, but hey it's not your fault that you're a fricking idiot right because you don't have free will)

Who you think you are does not even physically exist. There is no materialistic location of it. In this way it might be called a spirit but I'm still thinking about it. You are tho I think an emergent phenomen and therefore not limited by the laws of detetmistic physical principles maybe or something tho innit.

Fate is where you were born and your genes and circumstances you live in. Free will is the way you choose to live. Other people can affect the fate of others by exercising their free will just as you can do the same too. You can change the fate of the world.
