Both of these guys claimed to have a vision of hell from the Christian point of view

%3D%3D

I was an atheist for many years and then took an interest in Hinduism, but I don't understand the concept of reincarnation. Why be plugged into a body at all if we will just reincarnate until we are liberated.

It seems to me that we have to pay for the sins of the flesh while we are still in the flesh.

Does anyone have an explanation for why a person would see demons and hellish realms other than Christianity being real and 99% of the human race going to hell when they die?

Why do some NDE's reveal we are all a part of God while others are more of a fundamentalist Christian style?

The concept of hell has been completely warped by catholics and christians so they can scare people into believing their fanfic. If someone says their NDE was a Dantes Inferno tier experience then it either confirms NDEs are nothing more than a hallucination, or they're lying.
Also don't christians believe their spirit goes into some sort of sleep when they pass away? Another reason to not take their word seriously.

Well, can we all agree to not trust the images that spirits show us? We should all agree on that. Spirits lie! They lie in their image and in what they say, even if the truth is included. I don't believe they will ever be 100% truthful. Are these people insane? No, they are just mis-informed. Again, if this is our punishment/sentence, this is what we get. Hell can be real. It depends on how you define what "Hell" is.

God is gonna save us all:
After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.
Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”
And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which NO ONE COULD NUMBER, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?”

And I said to him, “Sir, you know.”

So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.
    They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat;
for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Bad afterlives are not unique to Christianity. If you are really afraid of Pascals wager remember that you still have to figure out which religion is the most true. They downplay it now but for a long time Protestants and Catholics where 100% certain that only they went to heaven.

Hell was invented by catholic church, there is no such place as purgatory or hell and even less heaven. Hell and Heaven is more a mind state.
        > Hell
is when you are mentally trapped into an endless self destructive behavior.
        > Heaven
is when you ascend or elevate your spirit / consciousness.

Your consciousness and your thoughts are your spirit, your feelings and emotions are your soul.

When your thoughts and feelings are aligned / synchronized, you can shift mountains.

Im a Christian, but NDEs are not very reliable as revelation as they mutually contradict, there are all kinds of reports.
The more interesting ones are when the person floats around the hospital, sees things she couldnt know as she is in a coma, and then reports those things correctly. This shows we have a soul and 'senses' besides the body.

99% of people going to hell makes no sense as it would mean satan wins. It would make the incarnation and suffering of Jesus meaningless.

As to hellish ndes, its still possible that God would use the situation to lead people to repentance.

Schizo Visions galore, like I said, the thing is, people used to consider visions a thing of the beyond, nowadays we know at BEST they are a personal experience with its own meaning for the person and no one else. If they have any meaning at all.

Most visions are fake and gay, with few exceptions, of the myriad of visions I've had, I'm sure only 5 or so are really meaningful. Most of them were from exploring the inner world.

In which case hell doesn't make sense either since it is after death.

Bigger question for you though, if as an agnostic fence sitter you are concerned about divine justice, why are you afraid of an eternal hell? If some sort of greater justice exists it would be fair right? Shoplifters don't get the death penalty and no human crime is worth an eternity in hell. I too wonder about greater mechanisms of justice but the Abrahamic claim of an eternity in hell is ridiculous.

I called myself a hindu for a while, but watching these testimonies inspired a primal fear in me I can't explain.

My main issue is whether or not reincarnation is true. If we can prove reincarnation true, then there is most likely no eternal hell and we get unlimited chances.

If there is no reincarnation when you die, you are fricked because there are no second chances.

Also, why did God create humans and have us create children through parenthood and form material bodies if the soul existed before the body?

We need to get this right or we might end up in the hell described above if we are wrong.

Remember that FEAR is how they control people. Hell isn't justice, it is a threat.

There is far stronger evidence for reincarnation than hell btw. Children remembering verifiable real world information they couldn't possibly know vs. unsubstantiated visions of hell.

Have you considered that this primal fear could be related to a past life as a Christian? Their brainwashing and rituals can impact future lives.

Modern "hell" isn't in the bible. There's Sheol which literally means "the grave" as in DEATH, being deaf, dumb, mute and thoughtless in the grave and Gehenna, which is "the afterlife" in an ancient sense, literally Hades. Same thing. The lake of fire is a place made SPECIFICALLY for Satan and the fallen angels and isn't a place of torment. They are literally tossed in and burn up instantly into nothingness. That said it doesn't matter anyway. The blood of christ is strong enough to save ALL, even unbelievers, even Judas, everyone. Whether you accept whatever comes after or not, it is possible and I don't see ANY good people being turned down because they just misunderstood part of the incredibly vague and altered lore and rulebooks. Just do what you have to do and believe that you're taken care of and you are.

I believe there is more to NDE's, whether from a non-physicalist or physicalist perspective, due to the bizarre nature of a mechanism which universally allows people to perceive dead loved ones or the version of the afterlife informed by the experiencer's culture. I do not doubt these exist, as I find it hard to believe that everybody, from all walks of life, including physicians themselves, would collectively lie about this phenomena.

However, with that said. Not every case is true. In fact, a lot of the glamorous testimonies are often used to push an agenda. I forgot where I had seen it, but there was a Christian NDE advocate who was being interviewed by a YouTuber and he claimed Muslims never experienced an Islamic NDE, which was thankfully pointed out as untrue. Spirituality and the paranormal attracts it's fair share of opportunists and grifters and they should absolutely be scrutinized.

I largely believe in hell but not as you're thinking of it. CS Lewis was probably the closest Christian that got it.

Evil is like a hole in a box. It's only purpose can be to compromise a foundation. More hole, less box. Too much hole, not even a hole anymore because there's no box to compromise.

You see it everywhere. Meaningless sex that isn't founded on love. To the point now people aren't even having sex to cum. They're gooning. It's fricking insane.

Karens banning everyone and everything on reddit. You could blink and get a ban. Just slandering eachother with ridiculous accusations of "that's a hecking death threat!" To the point words don't mean anything and laws become unenforceable because it's all bullshit. Even the legal system is a racket.

The economy is nothing but pyramid schemes on top of pyramid schemes. You think crypto is a joke? Checkout the stock market.

It's all gay and meaningless. That's the real demon and it should frighten you. Like a black hole so deep you can't see a glimmer of light.

There are a lot of very scary hell testimonies out there.
I wonder if having a guilty conscience is what triggers these experiences, and after going through it their conscience forces them to improve their life, and then they remember the good deeds they also did - how they loved their mother, were kind to their friends, loved their dog - and then they go to an afterlife realm with all the stuff they loved.

Being evil is still a tragedy, as it blocks out heaven, but its more about spirits going to a place that has the level of evil that is a vibrational match for them, rather than endless torture.

Example (just my take, could be wrong, but...):
A mean, competitive person acts like an butthole in the workplace. They fricked over a lot of people.
They have a NDE, and their guilty conscience is triggered, and shows them very bad realms of torture, which their guilty conscience thinks they deserve ... for a short period of time to atone for the sins.
They return from the NDE and start living a better life with more compassion.
After they die, they were probably still a kind of shitty person, so they go to a realm with people who are like them - people are also kind of buttholes, but they aren't totally bad, and they still love their family and friends, so they aren't in total suffering.
But their afterlife would have been so much richer and better if they had removed evil from themselves, rather than getting trapped in a low vibration realm with fellow buttholes.
