Solipsism is literally true.

noun
solipsism (noun)
the quality of being very self-centered or selfish:

philosophy
the view or theory that the self is all that can be known to exist:

The philosophical view is correct. There is just ONE self, and I'm it. I'm not particularly happy about it though. I don't know why I have to be all alone in existence. But it's the truth.

How can an effect exist with no preceding cause, and if you were the sole observer why are there things that are unknown to you?

      no, buddy

      >How can an effect exist with no preceding cause
When we observe this happening in quantum mechanics we call it chaos.
      >if you were the sole observer why are there things that are unknown to you?
Why would you assume being alone would grant any more knowledge?

I am the singular mind, self, God, etc. Whatever you want to call me, I'm it. You do not exist.

It is quite literally all one picture/all one thing. So yes, solipsism is true. I've been pretending all along that I wasn't God himself.

Nothing helps anymore. I'm going to kill myself because solipsism has caused me unbearable loneliness. It's easier to be dead at this point.

If loneliness has always been inevitable, then what exactly are you missing? Does the illusion of companionship stir something in you that you've no way of understanding?

When you die you'll see that you chose to be here in the first place. You were not forced, or coerced, you wanted to do this, we all made the decision to come here and we all have many times before. There aren't consequences to killing yourself, however when you remember what's really going on you'll kick yourself and choose to start again. There is no point in suicide if you want to get to spend any real time in what we would consider the afterlife.

Solipsism misses the point, you are not alone in existence, you are existence. It is misconstrued by most even further when they try to drag their egos into it, giving some the delusion of their egos being the only real things.

Everything perishes, there is no "continuity" or permanence, so whatever you're trying to say it's "you" it died before you finished typing it. Try thinking about the purest representation of "freedom" and describe the scene.

I've already proved it, where do you think this interaction we're having comes from? Even if i was an AI writing this post, i'd still be real, you seem to be concerned with whether i'm a human or not, not if i'm real or not.

If on the other hand you're worried i'm just a figment of your imagination, then just get rid of my messages and their memory which represent me, as long as they're there and you still remember them i'm just as real as anything else you can experience.

Imagine you're a kid again, and you're playing with your G.I.Joes. You pick one up, start moving him around and giving him a personality and backstory. Then you pick up another G.I. Joe and do the same, then they meet and are having a conversation. They are 2 different entities with 2 different stories and everything but ultimately controlled and experienced by the same mind. You could easily take this further by considering the one playing with the toys has a very complex and powerful mind. Hopefully this little story helps.

Seems kinda dumb to me. Why not just lean into it and enjoy the story? Try to break the 4th wall with the one writing it? See if you can talk it into hooking you up with some fun? You aren't alone, everyone else is real. You aren't God and even if you were killing yourself as a human would just put you back in an even gayer situation. You aren't God, God is You - there's a big difference there.

What you self identify with is nothing more than a cluster of throbbing sensations, "you" are already "coming back" here every instant as those sensations manifest and fade continuously. What you understand by "dying" is the act of unravel a part of this cluster, the one that represents the body, what do you think that will accomplish? In your state, nothing, it's not a solution.

There's nothing to be afraid of. You come here of your own volition. If you have a nice day you're simply going to be reminded of why that is. Your default state is one of infinite love and you come here precisely to escape from that for a moment.

If you want this life to be more pleasant, simply change the way you think and watch how reality conforms to your new self. What you see as "objective" reality is simply a bunch of information feedback loops. You think "life sucks and God tortures me" and your subjective state of reality conforms to that, which in turn reinforces those beliefs. You simply have to change that. Salvation is within you.

It astounds me how few people notice the importance of this word in the definition. Everyone just ignores it.
Only being able to know that you exist, is not the same thing as knowing others don't exist.

The view that you are the only person is not what solipsism is. Solipsism is simply realizing that you can't know if they do or not, and can only know yourself.

I have been thinking the opposite, how pieces of divinity are trapped in those recesses of our minds that are so hard to access. Strange synchronicities that only make sense to you, at the end of the day it feels more rewarding to observe something and know it true than to rely on any secondhand account. I love those little moments that are between you, reality, and maybe some interesting critters

Your life is the only thing you have full control over at the end of the day, everything else is a variable that could change at any given moment. Maybe we're just tools to distinguish the difference between existence and nonexistence, as far as you know only you will define that point. Build your own true beliefs around your best possible outcome, I have stopped asking questions nobody can really answer

That's exactly hat many of the people here are arguing, that the self is an illusion of separateness and there is only one lonely individual in the world.

The self is an illusion, but it exists for a reason and there's no reason to reject it.

When an illusion is a source of evil and you can change it, perhaps there is a reason to?

The key is to demonstrate to evil/primal beings you aren't going down without a fight. There's always something bigger and stronger, you pick your battles wisely and in the face of a last stand you go for maximum damage. If you leave a permanent mark you're etched in, and it could just prove to be the undoing of the aggressor

    EVERY ONE is SOLOPSIST
    SO when two people meet

so when 5 people get together
FIVE SOLOSPSISTS ARE MEETING EACH OTHER
UNLESS 2 of them are married
    Then theres SEVEN
UNLESS two of them are married to the other the other 2 that are OF THE 5 At that meeting

then theres the 5th wheel whos probably a loser and cant even tie its shoes properly and ultimately there is to be a laugh for the others while they say "GIT GUD HAVE SEX OR DIE LOSER VIRGIN MOOOOOOOO"

if you consider the Self as the allcompassing being (God), then yes.
    otherwise, no.

    > I'm not particularly happy about it though

you are.. all happiness you derive, is sourced from there. if there was no "self", you would not find joy in love (which is transactional and related to you), in offspring, in entertainment, etc.
these are all transactional things which are related to the "self", if it was not, you would not be happy.
if you enjoy watching a movie or playing a game or whatever else, do you derive the same level of enjoyment if a random stranger, who you have nothing to do with, from across the planet, with no communication, also does that? no.

you enjoy it because "you" are involved with it.

therefore, all joy is rooted in the self.
you are in love with your self beyond your wildest imagination. but this has been put into the background noise, just like how you are absolutely terrified of death, but that too has been taken away from your daily life.. both of these things would make you nonfunctional, if they were in the foreground.
