Shriners

What is up with them? What motivates boomer men to LARP as turks and drive around in tiny cars? Whenever you ask them about it they just say they’re a fun bunch of people having a good time but it seems deeper than that.

Islamic sect of Freemasonry. Requires Master Mason rank before being able to apply. Maybe another anon can shed more light on them, that's all I know.

    I've also wondered this..
spent a lot of my childhood in and out of shriners hospital for children.. they'd randomly be there just milling about in the hats...
Theres a very hazy memory from when i was four of some man in a white coat touching my penis ..once I became moronic I started to wonder if these old dudes are "donating" money to children's hospitals just to have access to kids.

They offer free health care and even surgery, and free hospital stays to children they deem are the most needy after a vetting process.

up until 2010 literally everything was free.
like all my surgeries, prosthetics, insurance wasn't ever run. They would also treat lots of burn cases from mexico, flown in via helicopter (in cali)

Silly anon, Shriners are good people who setup all sorts of children's programs to give them access to children so they can better help children.

Gotta keep those big cats fed somehow.

How are Shriners hospitals different from regular hospitals? Do they offer medical care discounted to low imcome people or what? And yeah they are definitely related to Freemasonry that's about all I know.

Nothing is free. Ever. Probably billionaire kid frickers paying the bill so they can have access to children

No, this is free. They are legitimately trying to help people.and garner positive energy. It's part of their belief system. Maybe it's to offset the shitty stuff they do, but this part is legit. They are not bad people. I know a few. They have their secrets, but don't seem to be bad people.

    Pedro: "Arabs from Turkey?"
Curtis: "What? Shit, yeah! Arabs from Turkey!"
nah, it stems from ancient egyptian, arabic shit. boomers are fascinated by it because it predates the old testament and some would go so far as to say that the israelites have stolen cunieform tales and made them their own in the old testament

rudyard kipling lowkey exposed a lot about the earliest, colonial shriner britbongs. it just seems to coincidental that he was a member but just didn't bother to share it with anyone. read the book or watch the movie The Man Who Would be King. it really encompasses the whimsy and humor the shriners have. they're likely the most nicest, harmless group of masonic boomers you'll meet. let them ride their lil buggies and quit making them out to be evil lol
