Is the few being able to manipulate the minds of the many and control them, magic?

  4. 1 month ago
    Anonymous

It exists but it's weak. There were CIA experiments that proved simply having someone concentrate on a number when rolling a random number generator did actually influence the outcomes to be closer to the desired number. I wish had the papers to post here as an image, I'm sure someone else here does. It was such a small pull when only one person did it. The more people who desired the same number, the more influence over the outcome there was. In other words magic is just your thoughts affecting reality and it exists, but it's piss weak unless you can get tons and tons of people to desire and think of the exact same things as yourself.

This is the non-religious reason for why prayer works

so if we got a whole country to do a rain dance, it would rain there?

        Anonymous

If the experiment the CIA conducted can be applied to something as abstract as weather conditions and not just manipulating the outputs of a random number generator, then yes it would be likely to rain if an entire country simultaneously synced their minds to focus on wanting it to rain in a specific area for a prolonged period of time. That's how the experiments describe the phenomenon to work, however even with something as simple as trying to roll a specific number the effect was weak, so I still wouldn't hold my breath even if somehow an entire country decided to try forcing rain.

Thailand was in a drought and a heatwave and they did a big rain ceremony and then it fuking poured. They didn't sacrifice a real cat thankfully, but basically the whole village getting together at the same time and essentially willing it to rain in fact made it rain.

science was invented by magicians by the way. when you summon demons and shit the human capacity for self deception becomes a big concern for you, and so a whole criteria and system to be able to single out some things to function as anchors which you could know for certain was invented. Unfortunately this system of intense scrutiny is not suitable for the vast majority of purposes, and over the years has been rendered useless at its job since sciencism has taken root and tried to force it to explain all things necessitating more and more lax standards

in this space there is only the THINGS and their THOUGHTS
you know it it's callled your fricking IMAGINATION
you used to only be you and your IMAGINATION, and you STILL FRICKING ARE
everyone loved FRICKING imagining the FRICK out of SHIT
sometimes we played a part in SOMEONE ELSE'S IMAGINATION, FOR FRICKING FUN

but someone wanted to FRICKING RUIN EVERYTHING

so they made an imagination EVERYONE WANTED TO BE A PART OF
but NO ONE COULD EVER GET OUT OF
he made your thoughts curl into his hand and now your thoughts made this HELLISH SHITTHOLE because HIS MIND IS A HELLISH SHITHOLE (because he's a terrible person, but also he likes torturing people)
ARE THE THOUGHTS THAT TELL YOU THEY'RE REAL, REAL?
    >umm, yes?
    ._.

N O IT IS JUST, THOUGHTS IN YOUR CONTROL, WHICH IS MAGIC
AND YOUR THOUGHTS THAT ARE IN HIS CONTROL, WHICH IS REALITY
    >scientifically speaking
    "REALITY" UMM U MEAN EVIL MAGIC? ? ? ??

magic fundamentally exists outside of the paradoxes and absolute rules that reality defines itself with, you're not going to be able to explain it scientifically, you're just going to find yourself face to face with as close as your mind will allow the true reality to contort this place into its sillouhette (or pierce if ur real epic)

Are you talking about the magic of people like Lance Burton or Criss Angel? Or actual magic the type where fireballs out of thin air happen? If it's about magicians in my first question they'd more appropriately be called illusionists where they use a trickery of the eye to wow their audience for instance mirrors to conceal a secret room. Now fireballs out of thin air—here's a simple experiment you can perform to prove magic like a "Hadouken" from Ryu in the fighting game 'Street Fighter.' Take aluminum foil enough to cover your hands clasped together when you have it wrapped around your hands move them gently causing friction and blow as hard as possible above it in an empty room—respectfully at the center of that space. Keep in mind that Arthur C. Clarke stated "Magic is science we do not understand." Please be careful performing the experiment. What you'll typically notice are beautiful and dazzling sparks forming out of thin air. The difference between Mr. Burton's magic and say Gandalf's magic one is more faith-based and the other is fact-based however both are relatively on the same path in understanding.

    "It's a win-win-win situation." - ???

"The handcuffs are due to a decision without intellect." - ???

    "Just because I'm supernatural it doesn't mean I'm a good person." - ???

I adore your thread topic and question btw. I went to see Criss Angel Live one time it was actually neat.

Basically objects in space and time are not exactly bound by what we assume to be the common rules of space and time in regards to causality. Reality is only confirmed when it's measured.

This is good advice. The astral plane is filled with wild, chaotic energies of liberation at the moment and the forces of darkness trying to fry minds with ego death waves. Hemi syncing without at least completing the Jehova geometry as a defense is a rapid road to schizophrenia (ego death, soul burn, and drooling on yourself as a Nobody).

The Monroe Institute's precious little energy conversion boxes and protection balloons are not enough. There is a reason they were all driven insane attempting to force commune with the astral without the proper psychospiritual conditioning.
