According to christian gnosticism Christ was against the Demiurge, as either an emanation of the One-Good (from which the Demiurge -the false God Yaldabaoth - departed), or as an high initiate who later fully achieved the union with the One-Good itself (it depends on the specific tradition, and in gnosticism there are many). Anyway, the Christic Gnosis it's pretty clear in regards to how the entity usually referred as God, and especially the God of the Old Testament, it's a false god (sometimes depicted as a sort of "metaphysical error", sometimes as a minor entity trying to appear as the Highest One). Christ tried to rectify the state of things from within the headquarter of the Demiurge basically. And in fact, the whole point of the Christic Gnosis is transfiguration.

Sounds like you are coping. Ask any person how they feel about Jesus. It ranges from
          >He is literally God
          >He is the Son of God, but not God
          >He is the Messiah and a prophet (pbuh)
          >He is an ascended master
          >He was a good teacher
          >He was a nice guy
Very rarely will anyone say that Jesus is a bad person or evil, very rarely. That's quite strange, don't you think?

kEK he's not evil, it's just people who act evil and self righteous in his name but that explicitly goes against his teachings. Who cares what he actually was? That's stupid human bullshit.

This is my point, no one can hold a bad opinion about Jesus. Yet we're told that the "world hates him." So if the world hates him, why does everyone love him? If that is true, then they either have a false image of the man or he was a deceiver from the beginning.

There are a lot of people who hate him though. Through a materialistic lens, yes, the world does hate him.

            >Through a materialistic lens, yes, the world does hate him.
There we go, all of a sudden hatred of him as a person becomes not following his teachings. Even materialistic people will wax poetic about Jesus. They'll say how noble he was, but not follow him, just like the young rich man. At the end of the day, if Jesus showed up from heaven today many people would accept his rule. Would that be happy about his decisions? Depends on what he legislates.

Nah, if there ever was a Demiurge he would depict himself as a lamb but be a dragon underneath.

Heh, that's some pretty sweet bullshit right there, i was there during Jesus' crucifixion, serious and i mean, some REAL SERIOUS SHIT went down there which i stood witness to. Jesus just frickin' lost it, his physique turned into that of a bodybuilder, to say that he brought down God's righteous wrath upon these poor Romans would be a HUGE, FRICKING, understatement. i mean, Jesus, all these Roman soldiers, centurions and all, within the blink of an eye, they all fricking exploded, SIMULTANEOUSLY. It literally started raining blood, the way Golgotha looked after all of this... I would never forget it, even if i were to reincarnate. The sight of Jesus' designated cross being surrounded by guts and corpses, with the "red cloud" hovering above, the "rain", the deafening silence after hearing Jesus' murderous crazed words of fire burning hotter than the Sun itself... Something like this could never be recorded into the bible. And i can see why. If you guys don't really believe me, that's also alright, my brain too had a hard time processing all of this. It was indeed, hellish.
