Red

What is it about Red that is so special to us? It is without doubt the color that evoke the most reaction in us, whether that be danger, alert, love, or some other intense emotion.
>inb4 our blood is red therefore red is le bad
Try giving a more original answer than that at least.

Aight, it's the color of our meat and flesh, that's why it's the true color of life, green is just a fake, plants aren't truly alive, green is not the color of life, but red is

It literally is just blood? For our ancestors seeing a bright red color meant that shit got real, that its time to pay attention.

doesn't matter, blood can come in different colors, red tick us in some way even if you don't associate it with blood

No, the absolute majority of blood on this earth is red, because of its iron contents. The iron is key in capturing, transporting and releasing oxygen and there aren't many mechanism that work anywhere near as good. At least not at the temperatures most land animals operate at. (Fun fact, some marine animal blood is blue because it utilizes copper instead of iron). Getting excited over red is probably a massive evolutionary advantage, especially if you are a dumb animal that doesnt understand what blood is.

Is there an evolutionary advantage to green being so bright though?
Check it out yourself, #00FF00 is pure green and it's bright, even though green is pretty common in nature which makes least sense in making it so visible

The human eye is most sensitive to green for a simple reason that nature is mostly green so it makes sense to be able to discern the most shades of it. The side effect is that #00FF00 looks absolutely absurd to us.

Is there a purpose for magenta existing though? Many people think it's a flaw in how the brain interpret colors, also does it prove that it's the true color between red and blue while green is a primary of its own?

Primary light colors are primary because these are the colors that the three different types of cones in our eyes are most sensitive to. You will however notice in pic related that they are also mildly sensitive to all kinds of other colors. Of course a given bit of light can only be one color, so there must inevitably be some kind of merging of information somewhere between the cones and your perception. Ill admit I do not know much about magenta, however it would make sense to me that the eye has to show something for those combinations of blue and red so magenta it is. White and black are made up colors also.

actually red has a very spiritual meaning to it
    >Red in itself is pure passion
when you add in green, the color of positivity, it turns
    >Yellow, the color of joy and happiness
when you add in blue, the color of peace and thought, it turns
    >Magenta, the color of love and compassion

the spiritual correspondances of colors is right in front of our eyes but normies can't see it
