Rainbow. Does it come from God?

People used to believe that Rainbows were a literall magic thing put there by God as a reminder that he won't flood the earth again.
Now that sience can explain that the rainbow is a physical thing explained in physics, doesn't this disproof that the literal interpretation of the bible is false?
Asking any christian who takes the bible literally and anyone else who has thoughts on this.

You need to understand that after the flood, the earth changed. There was not rain before the flood. So yes, it was a promise from God because he caused it by changing the way the earth functioned. Before the flood, everything was watered by a rising mist from the ground. After the flood happened and he sealed back up the fountain of waters, there needed to be a new way to restore the earth (and water its plants). So he created the rain cycles. Which causes the rainbow effect you see.

      Actually a flawless explanation.

That doesn’t explain why “rainbows” exist in other situations. When light passes through a window it can make a similar pattern. Or when you spray a mist of water in sunlight. It would be odd for God to do this, knowing that eventually we would discover that the rainbow is not some sort of special vow, but a natural consequence of the physics of light. You’re basically saying “Ok lightning is scientific but like Zeus still does it because it represents his anger at humans in general.” No, lightning exists because of electric charges. If Zeus wanted to communicate his anger, he would be more personal and specific. Because now everyone knows what actually causes lightning. Both of these interpretations of the rainbow and lightning are just ancient mythology. End of story.

That’s my point. He changed the world and the way it worked to where that happens in that situation now, as a reminder that he already spared us once.

Also oceans used to never exist. They came from cutting down giant trees and all the quintillion gallons water in the trees were dispersed

Oceans came to exist as they are now because of the amount of water that God let out of the fountain of waters during the flood.

First was water, next will be fire.

Ask, earnestly, and he will show. If you don’t ask, don’t be surprised he hides his face from you.

Ok, I just asked God to prove his existence to me by manifesting a can of Monster Energy on my desk. He didn't do it, why?

Seek and ye shall find. Open one door, and other one opens too. The path to righteousness is narrow. He who does not work shall not eat.

You have to ask the right question anon. That wasn’t an earnest question. It was an evil and wicked one, so why are you surprised it didn’t happen?

Read the Bible and then start asking questions.

If you beleive Light was the First Creation of the Almighty, then rainbows must.
It's that simple. You either believe in "let there be light" or you don't.

Rainbows are a projected image of the Sun. Take a look at OP pic. See the brightness inside the bow compared to outside of it on the red edge. The colors come from the outer corona sphere.
To be clear for the internet physicists, sunlight passes through rain drop prisms, then reflects back onto the rain forming different size and shape rainbows, it takes a unique set of circumstances and very specific angles. Not any sunny rainstorm can produce a rainbow you know... :^)

Stopped reading your tard rant immediately. Rainbows are comprised of photons, which are not inherently physical. Basedence hasn't proved shit and you'd know that if you studied the primary sources.

You don't even know if photons are waves or particles, I bet you think they're both. I bet you think consciousness exists as chemicals and physical processes, while thinking photons are magically aetheric and delicious.
