Preventing the further development of schizophrenia.

As far as i can remember my brain had some little schizophrenic tendencies, but recently my brain has been weird, playing many stupid tricks on me: making me think someone is after me, making me hear things, see things etc. I'm somewhat sure that not all of these things r paranormal, but I've became delusional. How would i go about preventing the further development of this schizophrenia that has now appeared in my life? Maybe through meditation or other methods?

Oh and you have to do acts of kindness wherever you can. Don't discount acts of kindness to yourself, they count just as much.
Then can be helped maximally by the laws of nature.

I don't get how this would fix everything. It's true thought that I'm really tough on myself and not tough enough on others

If you're too tough on yourself, you'll have less time left to be tough on others. And you may even be causing yourself some damage. This could be just what's leaving you with too little resources to heal and orient yourself properly.

            Anonymous

I'm not too tough on myself, I'm just the only man around. People need to be tougher, but they're babies and so i treat them as such.

Yeah, if you can't make up your mind about the nature of tobacco independently it's better to abstain from it rather than smoke thinking you're doing something wrong.
By "more pure" study material I mean wisdom rather than domain-specific, modern, profane areas of knowledge. Like, filter by "what you can recognize as wise", and from thereon you can get better at recognizing the timeless also in "the news".
And don't obsess over pulp fiction or the news in general.
Formal meditation I mean explore meditation techniques, if they have a feasible benefit like being pleasant, interesting, help cope with some kind of negative emotion etc..
            Examples of formal meditation:

            A more elaborate formal meditation:

(So you know there's a whole spectrum of techniqyes and multiple styles of meditation.)
So, formal as distinct from, meditatively doing a mundane activity, or doing so in the course of the day without dedicating a specific timeframe to a specific meditation upfront.

            Thx btw!

            >I'm not too tough on myself, I'm just the only man around.
Familiar. An alternative to smoking is eating a bit more heavy fats (e.g. organic virgin coconut oil) and long carbohydrates (brown/wholegrain rice, wholegrain bread, fermented wholegrain bread, rye bread). And gradually finding more ways to include raw vegetables, things like sprouted lentils, in your diet.
That's a way to get more consistent salt, water and glucose distribution without using a herb to increase vasoconstriction. Fruit also provides slow-absorbed water but the fructose in it is more useful for peaky performance, not for easier stable thinking.

These are minor issues in a schizophrenics life.

It seems we are not trying to make the guy feel well in a common sense, we are trying to ascertain and further the right way forward relative to his thinking process and future changes to that process which will not be altered by such commonalities as parent issues. This is a disease, not a complex.

Meditation helps, try Shamatha and Vipassana. It will be a powerful aid. But please do consider visiting a psychiatrist. Schizophrenia is in many respects a neurological/brain condition. Medication may be necessary.

        >I mustn't be classified as mentally ill for my job that i love.
You are not taking this seriously at all, are you? I know an advanced, undiagnosed schizophrenic. If you knew what that shit looks like and how it can hollow out a person, you would realise how much more important your health is. If you develop advanced schizophrenia, you will still lose your job because advanced schizophrenics are incapable of holding down a job. They are also incapable of recognising their delusional nature and of seeking or getting help. You are extremely lucky to be able to know you are delusional, because it saves you from falling into the most subtle and cunning trap of schizophrenia. You are loved by God. Don't waste this good fortune. Get yourself properly tested, even if it requires changing a livelihood.

You need to realize the within is a reflection of the without and viceversa. The paradox is destroyed when you realize there is no difference.
The problem is this knowledge has to be felt, because the words or concepts can never reconcile the contradiction, simply because concepts are created out of contradictions

My suggestions? Kill off all non-genetic causes first. Parasites and STDs are the most common causes of people thinking they are schizo. If you can clear both of these and STILL have problems, you will need to go deeper to fix yourself.

Do a parasite cleanse. At least try eating a spoonful of food grade diatomaceous earth once a day for a week. Some people add in more things like myrrh oil to help it along. Parasites can find their way in from pork, undercooked meat, and leafy greens. Do a yearly cleanse as a safety measure. I have had my overall health improve since I started this, honestly. It's worth it.

Also get tested for STDs. It doesn't matter if you're a virgin, if you think you are clean or show no symptoms. You can be born with a STD or catch it non-sexually like from an unclean hot tub. Common STDs like Chlamydia and Gonorrhea can build up in the body over time leading to schizophrenia type symptoms as they rot your brain. If you're insured, get a full battery of STD tests done. The nurse won't question, especially if you paint yourself as wanting to take charge of your health. If you aren't insured, get your butt down to the free clinic. It will suck, but it's worth it.

    Good luck, anon.

Note: don't do STD treatments and the cleanse at the same time. The cleanse can accidentally force out the medication. Do one thing at a time.

Do not simply assume that your workplace will discover you are schizophrenic.
Also do not assume they do not hire medicated individuals who are well because of the meds.

If you leave it for years your memory and social skills can suffer making work difficult even when medicated.

One injection a month of the lowest dose suffices for me to function pretty normally and I was full-blown psychotic for 15-20 years. I even convinced my doctor to lower it below the lowest he gives other people because I showed insight and do not like that it damages the grey matter of the brain over time. I have reached a compromise.

Explain to a doctor and agree to take meds if they say you have symptoms and you will avoid institutionalisation.

Have you been previously diagnosed with any mental issues? What I would recommend is a blood check, thyroid examination (do USG as well if thyroid issues run in your family), hormones examination would be good too. It's surprising how thyroid-related health issues can impact your mental health – keep in mind that illnesses such as Hashimoto won't be always detected in blood tests. You can also start taking vitamin D and B12 as these are vital for your organism if it's fighting with depression. Eating more fish or just taking cod-liver oil will do you good.

These tips are a good fundament for getting started with taking care of your mental health as they are probably pretty cheap to execute, depending on where you live. It will help you with getting a gist of what's going on and will be useful for your future psychiatrist/psychologist/therapist.

diet first and foremost. avoid sugar and aspartame. avoid stimulants, possibly with the exception of caffeine. avoid hallucinogens and pharmaceuticals. doctors aren't malicious, just moronic and greedy.
physiologically, schizophrenia seems to have some association with chronic brain inflammation, which is why the diet shit is effective. try intermittent fasting if you want to go even further.
get regular intense exercise (easier with good diet), and get high quality sleep (easier with exercise).

avoid stress, try to maintain control over your environment.
find things to do which involve both your body and mind. programming an operating system, playing videogames, reading are purely the mind. going for a run is purely the body. try to find things which incorporate both.
social interaction isn't required, but it WILL have positive effects, physically and mentally, that's just the way we are.

You are not comprehending, the torment of delusional thinking and all the other symptoms are unaffected by physical health changes.

Supposing you get some swelling down, that changes nothing. The neurons still fire in a new and bizarre fashion.

The meds work, you should have read the thread instead of repeatedly and by your own admission interfering with the mental health of the vulnerable by pulling things out your ass.

To recap, I spent 15 - 20 years psychotic and I have spent many years without symptoms because of meds, nothing else works and when i stop the illness comes back.

I wish everyone would read this thread once then we shouldn't have all this effort to convince people to not take meds and persist towards lack of memory and emotional numbness through neuron milling brain patterns into a fudge of a mess.

Most people do not have the IQ to think of much despite the condition so they get stuck in bizarre beliefs over time as their brain patterns form on the new connections. This means your advice is making them remain stupid and ignorant and in a world of pain.

and how much torture should an individual endure to achieve the title genius when his brain is guaranteed to deteriorate before anyone else and 70% of schizophrenics get dementia?

With tailored doses of meds and early catching of it, you can keep a brain working well much longer without the torment of paranoid delusions every waking minute.

Should they suffer because the cure does not fit your new age health protocol just to become geniuses in the rarest of cases, like one in a million or something, so you can have a tesla who dies penniless?

"Scientists debunk the IQ myth: Notion of measuring one's intelligence quotient by singular, standardized test is highly misleading"

Well, I took about ten tests when diagnosed ~113IQ.
      I took a further ten after 20 years, ~125IQ
So whatever I measured went up, but at what cost?

My neurons are now old and used and I am not confident that suffering every day is warranted to keep the IQ if I can live in peace a lot longer on a low dose that keeps my sane and only go back to 113.

IQ is debated because people do not like it, but it is evidenced in the world that societies with high IQ's function better. so They will debate but never disprove it.

If you can combat the delusions you can keep your job, but I am not in your head, If you cannot think two things in series and switch between them instantly then you cannot perform adequately. If you outright believe your delusions or you get halucinations, you need the meds or someone is going to be hurt.

I suggest you forget your job, you probably cannot enjoy a pension so get as much savings as you can and live a quiet and peaceful life while you can.

This is concerning because there are two ways that can go.
If you get psychosis and get angry and attack someone you will possibly be detained and conceivably forcefully injected. But if you hide why you did it it can repeat and your life is a prison sentence waiting to happen.

One last rare scenario is you let out your anger on the target and the force that is causing the psychosis snaps back and releases you for a long time or possibly permanently as this could be a case of the paranormal more than a brain defect and they often have rules in place that deem you too hostile for further torment and this is why gangstalking sometimes ends abruptly.

schizophrenia is inherently related to language. this is why only humans get it and not animals. schizophrenia is basically when words are taken too literally rather than just seeing them as very flawed ways to capture ideas. to get out of the schizo mindset you need to see words as symbolic, always connected to context, connected to the speaker, and filled with different shades of meaning, rather than seeing them as literal things that mean the same thing in every context

I have multiple states of thought when I am psychotic. Often no words just a delusion. Often no delusion just an energy pattern. As far as hallucinations go I have only had miracles, major and minor, and disembodied spirits.

How this all relates to words is not up for debate, it doesn't.

So it seems like there are 4 types of schizos

Delusional - the gang stalking kind. Faulty (too loose) pattern recognition. Fix: grounding
OCD/anxiety/high intuition - voices in head kind. Psyche fragmentation / tulpa creation from the trauma caused by intrusive thoughts. Fix: will power cultivation
Hallucinatory - this I'm not sure about. I have only experienced this through hypnagogia but I can't comprehend how it would happen when one is fully conscious (I know it happens though).
Psychotic - I have no experiential reference for this. Maybe an extension of the hallucinatory kind?

      >brain rot
No, activity in a schizophrenic brain is heightened not diminished.
how could rot cause more neurons to be established?

Only after decades of intense activity is any deterioration found because the brain can no longer sustain the growth.

There are studies and scans to be seen which explain exactly what it is, there is no mystery anymore.

But you won't read studies and you don't read schizophrenics threads before posting.

    AI's answer:

1 .Ketogenic Diet: Recent research suggests that a ketogenic diet (a low-carb, high-fat diet) may play a role in treating schizophrenia. In a study, two patients with longstanding schizophrenia experienced complete remission of symptoms after adopting this diet. Remarkably, both patients were able to stop antipsychotic medications and have remained in remission for years. While more evidence is needed, this offers hope for those with schizophrenia
    2.
Psychotherapy: Psychotherapy (talk therapy) can be beneficial. Sessions with a clinical therapist help individuals manage and navigate their thoughts, reality, and distortions. Techniques like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) can help address symptoms and improve coping skills
    3.
Holistic Approaches: Combining medications with non-pharmacological treatments may be effective. Consider practices such as yoga, which can help manage symptoms and daily responsibilities
    4.
Natural Remedies: While not a cure, some natural remedies might provide support. These include:
Green cardamom: Known for its calming properties.
Indian gooseberry (amla): Rich in antioxidants and vitamin C.
Asian ginseng: May help reduce stress.
Basil: Known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects

Tobacco, mental strength, and reflection. A low dose nicotine patch is fine if you don't like tobacco or can't smoke feasibly in your environment. It will help you process your senses and energize your mind when debilitated from overstimulation. It is not a dysfunction, it is a hypersensitivity internally and externally. If you can harness it appropriately, your ability to analyze and perceive information will be dramatically improved compared to the uninitiated. The key is grounding yourself sufficiently to categorize what is psionic noise (repetitive noise, intrusive thoughts, etc) and considerations that are definitively credible in their construction. You can supplement this technique mostly through gathering knowledge and observing, but not directly reacting, to specific patterns of events and behaviors. The key is to remember that associations are not always concrete. Metaphysical events occur in bizarre manipulations of relativistic alignment. These synchronicities may alarm you, but your ability to note them indicates you are increasing your ability to detect the patterning. This patterning is inherent within existence, and numbers of items, or numbers themselves can act as identifiers of these events. When it happens, stop and consider everything you are thinking about. Don't disclaim novel conclusions, but don't disclaim the more bizarre ones entirely either. Use your intellect to work through each. You'll get faster and mentally stronger. If you feel you are losing yourself, take breaks to do fun activities that allow you to detach and shift perspectives. It can help reset that sentiment and then you can get back into a better rhythm more easily.

Whatever you do, do not EVER take antipsychotics. They are neurotoxic poisons that will ruin your life and make things worse.
