My Son Talks to a Ghost

My 2.5 month old son, who lives with his mom has been saying for two months that he's been talking to a ghost. I will often walk into a room and hear him having a full conversation with nobody, and when I enter he says "bye bye ghost"
My son also believes the ghost lives under a bundle of sticks situated on the western side of my ex's porch, near a large clover patch.
My son will beg to go outside and "see ghost"
He tells me that ghost flies outside the car when we are driving and he's petrified of the dark. He says ghost is a man who mostly spends time in the closet in my son's room, but also regularly talks to and plays with him.
Ghost doesn't like prayers, I tried to pray over my son when he was showing me where ghost lives and he said "Dada no pray! Ghost hurt." And cried loudly over my prayer.
My son can't possibly know what a ghost or a prayer is, his mom is an avowed atheist who doesn't consume any media. My son doesn't watch TV or anything.
I want to know why my son thinks the ghost lives under these sticks and potentially how to get rid of the ghost when my ex is so atheistic and skeptical.

Is there any source about demons either dwelling outside, underground or under sticks?

Before anybody asks, the prayer I said over him was a rendition of psalm 91, a traditional prayer of protection.
    Some other interesting facts:
    >ghost isn't in any way attached to the house as there was no supernatural presence when I lived there
    >ghost very explicitly needs to leave my son alone for periods of time, my son will literally get sad and say "bye bye ghost" or "ghost go outside" and not talk to ghost again for hours until he says "hi ghost"

It’s a fricking demon. Learn banishment rituals before this fricker tries to possess your son.

      Two questions:
      1. Where can I learn such a thing that will actually work?
      2. How can I possibly implement a ritual without my ex's consent? She would not allow that to happen at all under any circumstance unless I could do it quietly without her knowledge

        NTA
The entity you are dealing with is probably taking advantage of the fact that his mother denies supernatural things and is subtly reinforcing those beliefs in her. It is likely attached to her in some way also. I'm not sure a suitable ritual, but perhaps you could try something like leaving a blessed item or prayer talisman underneath his pillow or bed. Also, you could use your exes supposed skepticism against her saying something like "If it is all fake anyway, why are you so worried about it?"

Just use the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ has authority over all things.

Pray to the Father in the Name of Jesus Christ.

We've all sinned, and we have all fallen short of the Glory of God. Not meeting his perfect standard.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)

God himself provided a propitiation to meet Justice and Mercy, solving our sin problem.

Jesus Christ, God in the Flesh, paid for your sins on the cross in his death before rising again from the grave and ascending into Heaven bodily. He has returned to his Earth and has established his Kingdom Everlasting. The time of Satan is short, and Satan is currently loose for a little season.

If you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life, trusting that his sacrifice paid for you in full then you have everlasting life which can never be taken away. Your sins are fully forgiven. They were paid for on that cross in full.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life." (John 6:47)

Once you're eternally saved your receive the Holy Spirit, God dwelling within you. Your body is at this point a temple of the Living God. You become one spirit with the Lord. You are raised with Christ, seated in Heavenly places. You are seen as God's Son.

No one is getting to Heaven unless God sees them as righteous as Jesus Christ. Perfect righteousness.

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)

Now go to those sticks and command that demon to flee from this continent and to go into the SEA, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Invoke the name of the Most High God Jesus Christ who has authority over all things.

some children have imaginary friends for some time. Sometimes that can be benevolent guides and sometimes it's spiritual mumbojumbo that still affects them in this life. You should create an environment for your son where they are more enticed or semi-forced to lay their focus and attention on something else other than the ghost. Do not try to be harsh on your son's attraction to it, but learn how to direct its curiosity to things of this world that spark their interest.

It’s a fricking demon. Learn banishment rituals before this fricker tries to possess your son.

By consciously performing mindful acts in the physical world with the intent of diminishing the influence of the behaviour.

Behaviour and dependence embed itself by repetition and interest. The consciousness of that lil person is being distracted from earthly matters by some alleged entity. The periods of separation and return are also effective at embedding familiarity. Your son is pleasantly engaged, then the valve of interest is shut and your son is left to await hopefully for the next encounter. In that way the exposure can be prolonged and without your son's curiosity burning out.
That entity is somehow offering things or conversations which your son feels it is lacking; so find out what is sparking your son's mind and offer better alternatives and engagement in the natural world. Don't directly attack that "connection"; you'll become a scapegoat.

Do not demonize these phenomena right off the bat even if not all entities are benevolent. I met my main spirit guide in child's play and he was very respectful of my time and energy. Even when older that gave a strong moral compass that always helped me to make sound and effective life choices. But entities that babble and take away attention and time in their formative years are manipulative and negative.

This is why I fricking hate /x/, because of larpers, literal liars, like this. It makes it so hard to advance actual discovery in legit paranormal things when larpers like this literally make shit up for whatever fricking reason.

Spoiler: babies can't/don't even start talking until they are 12 months, and it's very basic at that point. OP doesn't even know how kids work for his larp, probably has never interacted with one, much less interacted with a female or even seen a vegana ever.

Frick op. Frick liars who make up stupid bullshit like this.

    /x deserves so much better.

No, it's fricking weird. My aunt told me how my older cousin would do the same thing when he was little and even when I was 7 I thought that was crazy. I could pretend there was someone there but that doesn't seem like the same kind of thing.

You need to encourage the ghost to take rebirth. You can do this by praying. Is in everyone’s best interest that you exert your will over the ghost.

You're his father. You are his best friend and should be there for him. However you are now living apart from your wife. He probably misses you and is manifesting this as a ghost friend. You should probably focus on figuring out how to reconcile your differences with your wife so that you guys to become a unified family.
