lucifer is the fallen son of god and only seeks to rejoin his father in heaven.

lucifer is the fallen son of god and only seeks to rejoin his father in heaven. he does not mean to usurp god or rise above god, only to return to his father's side where he belongs. lucifer is a being of great remorse, sorrow, and agony. his love for his father is only matched by his love for humanity. giving us free will was a sacrifice he made for us, with the eternal punishment of being cast out of heaven. worshipping lucifer is no different than worshipping jesus or any other angel. it is not about worshipping evil and defacing god, but rather about both questioning god and his choices along with seeking forgivness for having such questions.

      Like where did the story of lucifer and Jesus come about? You never heard of it besides the past 2000 years? What was going on before that time? Did hindoos even know he existed? It all sounds made up to me. I know aliens use this place as a prison planet and may have made an example to anyone who opposes their system.

      Exactly. Lucifer and Satan aren't the same thing as lucifer is basically venus and Satan is just an idea.

      his story is our story. he is still an angel for a reason, he serves an important purpose. but we must learn from the story and turn to God

    OP is fricking moronic.

    Lucifer isn’t in the bible, and he's not Satan. Lucifer is just the Latin word for Venus and the history of conflating Lucifer with Satan is long and complicated.

    In short, the romans had some legends about Venus being cast down from the heavens to the earth because that’s the way the planet Venus moves in the sky. It travels up and down in a little loop/zigzag just at the horizon, and in early morning it’s just beneath the sun falling towards earth.

    Because Venus is one of the few stars visible at daybreak, Semitic cultures referred to Venus as a sort of “morning star” in a way that had a very positive connotation.

    In the book of Isaiah, Isaiah sarcastically called an opponent of his “morning star” to imply that he was not in fact good, like calling someone “Einstein” when they’ve done something stupid.

    When this got translated into Latin in the vulgate bible a few centuries after Jesus died, they translated this word to “Lucifer” because that’s the Latin word for Venus.

    Romans reading this for the first time some thousand plus years after it was written then thought that Isaiah was referring to the Lucifer that they know for being cast out of heaven.

    Since Satan is similarly described as being cast out of heaven, new readers started to draw connections between the two and assume that they are the same being. But those beings come from completely different cultures, and Lucifer as a being was never in the Bible anyways.

      This. How can christians (and generally speaking people) be so ignorant of this?

    Nope lol if Lucifer could somehow find a way to kill God, he'd jump at the opportunity. He already tried once with the crucifixion, and that obviously didn't work. Satan hates God more than anything in the universe, he hates him with every ounce of his being. If you added up the hatred experienced by every human that ever lived, and had ever hated something, it wouldn't add up to a millionth of a percent of the hatred Satan has for God. God is everything to him, everything ever that there ever was and ever will be. God is what caused him to exist in the state he's in now by creating him in the first place. God is who allowed him his decision, and he chose wrong. Satan has been suffering for nearly his entire existence, billions of years, in ways that are unimaginable to a human, because he tried to dethrone God. He was perfect in every way conceivable, but God, to his horror, was somehow more perfect. Now he's nothing.

          No he can probably read you're just sadly not very convincing. Most here have evolved past binaries so I suggest seeding more compelling moralities into your larps, perhaps hinged upon cultural interplay, as to seduce their attention. Otherwise you trigger their aversion.

    Lucifer is just enlightenment and when you understand enlightenment you realize that "killing god" or returning to nothing is the only thing that makes any sense.
    and then you just do it again.

    The Fall of Lucifer
    “How you are fallen from heaven,
    O [a]Lucifer, son of the morning!
    How you are cut down to the ground,
    You who weakened the nations!
    For you have said in your heart:
    ‘I will ascend into heaven,
    I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
    I will also sit on the mount of the congregation
    On the farthest sides of the north;
    I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
    I will be like the Most High.’
    Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol,
    To the lowest depths of the Pit.

    The reason Lucifer has been understood to be a proper name of the Devil has to do with the Latin translation of the Hebrew term Helel. This word was understood, by some, to be a proper name for the king of Babylon. It means "light bearer," or Lucifero in Latin. The Latin title became a popular name for this evil figure. When the King James translators rendered the Hebrew term into English, they kept the popular term "Lucifer" for the Devil.
