I've seen a documentary about the Moon many years ago, roughly around 2010. I think it was posted here and it was hosted on Vimeo. The documentary proposed the idea that there is life on the moon. I faintly remember they mentioned there's constant travel between the Moon and the Earth, and to prove this they showed various photos and covers of sci-fi books. The big reveal moment at the end was that they showed color corrected videos of the surface of the Moon with green stuff and aircrafts moving around.

I've never seen this video ever since nor seen anyone mentioning it. It was like one hour long and it had pretty good quality.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'd like to rewatch it.

Just use a thermometer. Measure the temp in the moon light and then in the moon shade, its always warmer in the shade, every time.

the moon isn't a shiny ball. the surface is uneven and covered in powder and rocks which reflect the light in all directions. Or almost; they found that the lunar regolith has the effect of reflecting a bit more light back towards the direction it came from than elsewhere. There are entire papers written on this stuff from the lead up to Apollo.

    sounds like you might be talking about jose escamilla's moon rising;

I really liked this doc, I noticed it's been "blacklisted" in the way a few things have been on "web 2.0" wherein it's just sort of omitted from most results.

      Yes!
This is it! Thank you very much! Only thing I remember differently is the ending. In my memory there's some majestic, whimsical music going on, but other than that, this is it.

      >Black listed
I also remember that for a time I could even recall the name but google didn't gave me any results, so I thought my memory was at fault and forgot about it.

Really makes me think. I thought something like this would have more. I mean sure, it's for a niche audience, but I thought it has some underground following at least.

probably a reupload, i think it had a proper platform originally. This, John Lenard Walson, most of the interesting PA/PC stuff, along with any alchemy/alt-energy stuff from the past decade has all been basically memory-holed. you can still find it if you know some specifics, but it's not going to come up in search results ever again.

You'd think if there were moonbases, there'd be more evidence than some brief flickers of light.

The Moon interior is hollow. After its iron core solidifed, it shrunk and created a cavity about 2 km in width. This is the reason why the center of gravity for the moon is 2km different than originally expected, as measured by Apollo astronauts.

This cooled iron core still emits infrared radiation. If you were inside this cavity, you would walk along the walls, not along the core. This is the reason why the Moon “rings”. If you look at the far side, you can find entrance/exits in certain craters, even craft transiting the craters.

There are ancient extraterrestrial structures throughout the Solar System. The government may be able to cover up their installations on the Far Side, but with enough digging you can find the structures and craft for yourself.

Buy a 12” reflector telescope and look at the moon yourself. You WILL see some shit. This has been the case for centuries.

Picrel is a screenshot taken from LRO far side imagery. Note the symmetry.

I have a 6” dobsonian and have seen the transient flashes twice
with a 12” make sure you use a filter on full moon nights or you’ll go blind

        >youll go blind

I doubt that but it definitely be quite uncomfortable and temporarily obliterate your night vision, thats for sure. Nevertheless, I also primarily used a 6” reflector telescope during my observing days and while I never personally saw and lunar weirdness, I did, on multiple occasions, see craft I cannot explain.

Also, astronomy is a patrician tier hobby. One time I took my druggie friends to the top of a local mountain on a dark night and showed them the Great Cluster in Hercules through the scope, and even they were absolutely floored by its beauty. Theres something in it that speaks so deeply to us. Do you ever feel that “screaming” sensation when you do it? Like the gaping maw of the Universe is just screaming in your face like a roaring river?
