It depends on your perception of the sublime and the mundane, it can drive someone insane however if you are versed in meditation and self knowledge it will not.

its the other way around. there is truth, imagine it as a big circle.
than within that circle is a smaller circle with the lable "perceivable reality, capturable by intellect and communicable by speech".
going outside of the immeditate circles does not automatically mean insanity. its only insanity, if you go out of both circles.
in the outer circle, you got ineffable truths. try to eff it all you want, the best you can do is allegories, parables, poetry, etc.

It only seems like insanity to those who haven't made it.

Insanity is when someone has achieved some state of awareness, or gained access to information that is otherwise inalienable.

    No.
See, the insane have a disconnect with reality. You dont want that.
You should want to be a Philosopher King, and no I don't mean Plato's idea of a Philosopher King, I mean a man whose very thoughts have power.
A lot of EerieWeb is still stuck in the eastern spiritualism/Gnostic way of thinking. That's good if you want to spend several lifetimes maybe attaining a bit of spiritual energy but if you want to make measurable progress in the next million years, you're gonna need to speed the process up.
How do you do this? If I told you I would hamper your progress in such a way that I don't think you'll recover. And while I truly don't care about you, Anon. Trust that I do not want to hurt you like that but don't listen to Eastern philosophies, they're the spiritual version of grinding in World of Warcraft. They're good at giving you an idea of what the destination is, but they can't tell you the direction to travel.
Here's what I can tell you to give you a hint to crack the code:

First, you must admit the inherent narcissism of what you're trying to do. You must admit that you are trying to peer into areas much more wise men have before you, and taking the answers they couldn't. False humility will not serve you.
In recognising the inherent narcissism of your task, you have begun the journey of becoming a ruling Philosopher King.

That'll be enough to get you started. Be ready to ask yourself some powerful fricking questions you may not like the answers to. If you're not causing yourself a depression, you're probably not interrogating yourself well enough.

Not really, anyone who cracks the real code can see reality clearly and how it is maintained. However if you will try to share this knowledge with others, they will certainly precive you as a insane person. Also, like there are millions of religions proclaiming to be the on true real one, there are millions of so called codes. And if you blindly follow the wrong ones you certainly will go insane.

No, one would think that whoever cracks the code of reality is sane. By definition. You're probably just schizophrenic.

No. Life is a test to see how many incarnations it takes for you to finally crack the code. You have to keep coming back here until you figure it out.

Insanity is fundamentally a social construct, or to put it in a less loaded, lefty-sounding way, it's defined by your negation from society.
The truth of reality itself doesn't, necessarily, make you insane, but the severe dissonance between the truth of reality, and the norms of society, definitely can. The more you realize the truth of reality, the more society appears like one big series of 'gaslights'. Which I would guess is the point. Literally gaslighting you - showing you a neverending series of facades and theatre, telling you 'look, everyone you know thinks these lies are real, whatugonnadoaboutit??' - and expecting you to either act with self-destructive emotional hubris, or to react with humility, to start thinking 'gee I guess I really *am* crazy' and to live with constant self-doubt.
