Is anything even real or is it just a big LARP?

Neville Goddard says reality is created through your imagination, however, there are so many books written about the occult and magick and how these things are the way to change your life.

so what the hell is right? Believing I am God and manifesting through imagination or through magick? What if my imaginational acts and manifestations were because I did some magickal act I did not of? It was unconscious? Or what if sigils and magick are just imagination on crack? Somebody help me before I barf a void.

      Depends on your results.
The way is that you live your life as if a was true, and then as if B was true, and see which one works better.
And then what is the truth doesn't matter, just what you do with it.

Neville Goddard told people what they want to hear because that's what grifters do, why would you assume he was anything else?

It's neither I think. Reality is created from a deeper layer of your being, and both what we call "reality" and your imagination emanate from the same place.
So they can be correlated. And when someone's reality changes it also results in a change of imagination, causing people to think their changing imagination caused the change in their reality.

Magic is even worse actually. I think you can actually enter a state of being where magic is "real", but you'd really just be descending deeper into ignorance of your true self because you have to believe it comes from outside you. From symbols and rituals.

The key points to understand is that, outside the mind:
    - there are no things
    - there are no structures
    - there is no complexity
    - there is no multiplicity

Outside the mind, there is only the One.

Interesting. So utilizing these key points to get what you want in life or change your life your thoughts at the end of the day are what matters?

      >is it just a big LARP
EVERYTHING is one giant big larp, even on the spiritual plane.
The ONLY thing that is real (eternal and independent onto itself) is your consciousness/soul. Everything else is a simulation by that.
      >manifesting through imagination or through magick?
      >or
There is no "or"; all magick incorporates imagination and "mind over matter" is at the heart of all occult practices.
      >did some magickal act I did not of? It was unconscious?
Yeah well there is a reason discipline of the mind is at the top of the list for /x/. It aren't just in your head and entertaining negative thoughts can have profound effects on your manifested reality.
      >Or what if sigils and magick are just imagination on crack?
That is the core contention between Traditional Magick and modern Chaos Magick and a debate that still rages on at the heart of magick practices.
New agers calls sigils and such a "permission slip", basically just something that you do to give yourself permission to become more like your true godlike self.

So again what you think about manifests? But why is then there such an emphasis on "detachment" and letting go of your desired reality?

        >So again what you think about manifests?
Depends, what exactly are you asking?
        >But why is then there such an emphasis on "detachment" and letting go of your desired reality?
That's a safety mechanism for beginners.
What you manifest corresponds to your state of being. Beginners might be able to sustain the "wish fulfilled" state of being during the ritual but if they stay attached high probability they will revert back to "I don't have it I want it" state of being later, which undo all their work.

          Alright but then for example:
Like Neville’s teacher Abdullah said “it is done”.
Is it not sufficient enough just to “imagine” your desire, feel it fulfilled, and then tell yourself it is done anytime your desire came to mind?

It can be enough, depends entirely on the inner force you can muster, which is indicated by the depth of your feelings.
If you don't feel anything then at your current state of understanding you will need a more elaborate ritual to generate sufficient power for your intended workings.

I see. Well thank you frend for your sage advice. I really appreciate it.

I have manifested things with the it’s done method but for some reason I have a bigger want that is not appearing so well. Maybe I am putting too much emphasis on it and digging up the seed too early

    It not a new thought.
"As you believe, so shall it be done unto you." - Jesus
    “We are what we think.
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts we make the world.” - Buddha.

This also explains how the magicians who rule this world rule.
They control other people's thoughts and direct those thought towards the desired outcome.
