Ask me anything. Any advice I can give with all those years of experience while waiting for my flight would be more than fun.

what do you think of celibacy and how is it related to all things spiritual?

            Anonymous

I don't think it's necessary, but it's a path. One I mostly choose to myself. There is a reason most monastic prder enforce it, a non economic reason.

I so think sexuality facilitates the discovery and visualization of many higher truths, this is a big mystery maybe the buggest of all, life.

We all camenfrom sexuality, so to deny sex is to deny an integral partnpf your nature.

But sex comes with many distractions, and to understand the highest mysteries one must be focused of mind so celibacy helps in that regard. It removes distraction and gives you all that libido not to be ignored or to try to put away but to channel, to sublimate it into concrete action.

            It reay helps.

what do you know about the connection between celinbacy, amassing chi/prana, the refinement of the mind and all that related to such things as pratyahara and ultimately samadhi or jhana

            Anonymous

I'm not that veesed in the easter traditions but they seem veey close related to my mater's cobclusipns of the connection between breath and the soul.

So prana is a very close concept to what I do and my higher pratices.

But prana and Chi should not be lumped as the same thing like you did here. To my perspective they are completely different concepts, from completely different tradutions used in whole different ways for different goals.

I'm from the region that nowadays is considered Turkey, I was born from low birth so I only learned to read very late in my normal life span and I learned a bunch all at once.

In a sense, I have studies with people who call themselves alchemists, but I feel the word nowadays has lost much of it's meaning I rather classify myself as a researcher of higher mysteries.

My own conclusions took me away from such binaries like light and dark, I see life and existence as more of an equilibrium of opposites rather than opposites, there is not light without dark and so forth.

If you want to learn higher truths, leaving such domestic and simplistic views behind would do you good, but I may wrong as well so who knows.

I have sought mortality since I became aware of my own mortality, like many men of my time, in a time where this possibility was seen as more plausible, me together with a few acquaintances found a way, I won't be going into details for obvious reasons but also because it may not be considered "ethical" by most people.

        >I have sought mortality since I became aware of my own mortality

Yes, mortality can reached by many means, how worth and how good it is for a human soul to experience so much time in the material realm is up for debate but it is my particular experience so I have no frame of reference.

Astrology and astronomy, to me at least, has more to do with the realm of the symbolic compared to any actual physical changes in the world.

            >where? how did you become immortal? you're giving a lot of non-answers and still dodging questions
I really don't know how to help you.

As I said above, higher truths to me is not something you can just learn, just read a summary on a book, it's something you have to experience, you would need a master, to follow a tradition...

I certainly won't teach a random EerieWeb user I barely know anything about, the very fact you said you don't care about morality already disqualify you from learning in my eyes.

But I dunno, seek a community, learn from them, you certainly won't learn alone, learn symbols and symbolism, seek people you resonate with and emulate them, be out and about, be seen. That's the only way, you will learn nothing by being inside, I was only recruited by my master because I was out and about if I stayed home I would never experience what I did.

Not really, as a said most mystics I know or have met weren't serious in their search for higher truths.

I genuinely don't think so, reality from my views based on my experiences is often a lot more mundane and boring compared to those conspiracy theories, but hey I don't have all the answers, but I have outlived so much shit and seen so many repeating mistakes that I find the idea of an evil cabal trying to control the entire world unlikely.

But my association with symbols and context helps me remember. As I described abive I try to see the patterns and when you do it's easier to categorize.

I have meet some, a few actors and a few authors, but I was never someone of much notoriety, so I was never able to interact much with anyone, but I certainly have, even nobility when I lived in Europe.

The issues is that they were just people, like you me, nothing of much note.

Heinrich Kramer was a horrible being tho, it's impressive how much one hateful and spiteful little men was able to do so much damage and shape so much hatred in our world like he did.

I honestly think all hate movements we have today are in a way influenced by him.

It's been so long since I put it into practice I don't really feel comfortable classifying it as something I know fluently, languages are not something you learn once and you are set for life, it requires constant practice.

Unlike say Sanskrit, which is a dead language I know well since I read Sanskrit books everyday, I just don't read german that much anymore.

And again I ask you to stop trying to get this Gotcha moments from me, you won't find them.

Well that's the goal of the thread yes, when you spend most of your life emulating sad and miserable normal people sometimes feels good to just talk about who you are, keeps you in perspective and makes you not lose your own identity. Too bad this is one of the few forums I would be able to do it.

Yes, I have never been very social, but I "ascended" with a group of people, very interested in preserving their own minds and lives, and they are the ones who find all sorts of people so we can "hang out" from time to time. Me personally I have never sough those people out, I have reached this stage a solo endeavor and don't wish for company.

I did it for myself and me alone.

          >Can you point me to any place specific or practice to research if I wanted to achieve the same thing?
As I said before it's all about patterns. Different peolle are going to reach at the same conclusions in different places at diferent times.

Mybmaster got to his conclusions on his own via hisbown observations and his master's conclusions on the nature of the soul.

It has a lot do with breathing, so seek wisdom in the nature of the soul and its connection to the breath. Seek the patterns in different tradtions, that's where the truth lies.
Don't do it alone since one perspective gets biased really fast.
Seek a hroup with strong willed individuals, as to not be easily persuaded by your convictions nor you be easily persuaded by theirs.

          >Did you hear about Jesus Christ while he was alive? What do you think of Jesus?
Yes, but it was more about the religous phenomenon around him and not the person itself. At leadt to me was always more about "the Christians " and less about Jesus himself, but news used to travel slower at that time.

I think there is wisdom on what he says, but people fail tk get his major points, Christianity is a demands a very active, non violent BUT PROVOCATIVE action, but most christians seem to fail on all three fronts. They misunderstood most of his teachingsand actually do the literal opposite.

They are not active, they are often violent and boring, not provocative at all.

Given that you body snatch have you had both male and female bodies? If so what is it like to have sex as each?

I could but I have never done it, some of my peers who are also imortal have described the experience and sought it to expand their minds and understanding.

I have never seen the point, it would only create confussion, and add to my already great fear of losing my sense of self.

So I can't really comment on, even if I had I don't think I would have engaged with sexuality as a woman, I'm mostly celibate and had very few sexual encounters, I have only fallen in love 4 times and only had sex with two of my lovers, and most sex I had was with escorts. And it was very unfufilling.

what do u think of the lgbtq community

      Anonymous

I personally think sexuality is a mean to reach higher truths.

The soul is gender less so to become more spiritual one should become gender less as well, not literally, but spiritually.

The issue with the community itself is that they are very vain, boring and use very bad strategies to reach their goals. They are are also overly sexual and don't add much with their struggles.

I think blind hatred towards them as a concept and as a community is silly but I think they don't make themselves any favors by the way they present themselves socially and politically.

I personally also think this distinction "gay/straight" is unrealistic and is damaging our collective Psychē. This fear of being seen as homosexuals makes young men unable to feel natural feelings which makes them socially inept and makes them unable create healthy relationships.

To me based on my long life experience, homosexuality does not exist, nor does heterosexuality. People are sexual at different contexts and trying to put a label on such a primal force within us is doing more harm than good.

no I mean the physical goal. I didn't really go through a process to attain it I just had the ability from the start along with the vampiric condition.

        > "You need to locate your pineal gland. It is in the center of the brain and down to the right a bit below. Those of you who are working on this should begin meditating on your pineal gland. One excellent way to do this is by relaxing and breathing energy into it and expanding it on the exhale, like you would your aura.

The pineal gland is where one major part of the elixer of life is secreted in what is called "dripping ambrosia." You will know when you have found it and activated it as the ambrosia is bliss and pleasure beyond words. You will definitely feel it. Don't do this if you must be somewhere and are time sensitive as the pleasure can be so extreme that getting up and about can be near impossible. "

From my experiences with people engaged with alchemy, this whole thing has long become a philosophy ideal than a real pratical one. And this is my issue.

          >The pineal gland is where one major part of the elixer of life is secreted in what is called "dripping ambrosia." The pineal gland to me on my own experience searching higher truths is just a part of the philological body with no relationship with the imaterial realm. The ideia it does was thanks to the lack of understanding people at the time had.

Do you have any special memories from your childhood, like customs and beliefs of your native village?
How would you advise today's man to live, since you have seen so much in your life?

Memory is the main crux of my existence, when you live as long as I lived who you are and what you were become sort of an obsession, how to preserve yourself, your "essence" if there is such thing when who you are changes, how you look like changes and how the world is also changes.

      is such thing possible? Viable?

I have been having trouble with my memories as of late... Which frustrates me to no end since my memory was always very VERY good. I guess there is only so much you can store in your brain. The images are burly, the details elude me and I don't get why.

Recent science says that we don't "store" memory as much as reconstructed from scratch by reconstituting ideas and feelings and I think there is a truth in that.

I have plenty of advice, that was one of the reasons I made this thread, my main advice is that human history, existence, life comes in cycles, things always repeat, people, events, ideas and to understand these patters would be very good for people to live better.

They are not perfect copies but are equal in theme and symbolism. If only we could live longer we would start to see that as well, but alas we don't so we fall to the same traps and commit the same mistakes.

have you also done work to expand your consciousness to support the weight of so many years?

you jump from physical minds, but your actual consciousness and memories exist outside of that, expanded by your experience. I’d imagine you have a deep concept of the soul, since at this point you are just your spirit tuning to different radios (hijacking bodies).

          I don't think so, I think I'm a neurotic mess.

I have been so obsessed with how much of "me" can be preserved and how much someone's views, experiences and sense of self is shaped by how they look like that if anything I consider myself weaker spiritually and mentally compared to the average human being.

          >you jump from physical minds
I don't think so, I "jump" from physical bodies not minds. How much the physical mind and the physical body are one of the same is the crux of my latest research.

I would say that a body (mind included) is a receiver for soul/spirit/consciousness.

Your soul/spirit/consciousness (your true self) is jumping from body to body. I think the problem comes from how you are identified. Even though you’ve had these clear experiences in other lifetimes while maintaining your memories and sense of self, your soul/spirit/consciousness is still identified with your first (and false) identity as a turkish person from thousands of years ago. You’re not any of the bodies you have inhabited. Not your first not your last.

You’ve broken the cycle of reincarnation but in a very odd way. Masters and gurus master the soul and become one with it which allows their consciousness to transcend without body. Then if they reincarnate again on earth, they can maintain their memories and fulfill their purpose.

It’s also strange to me to want to live forever in material forms when you have definitive proof of the immaterial world.

None of these are judgements! Just musings on what you’ve shared. Thanks for sharing.

Indeed I think my immortality comes from an unnatural attachment of my sense of self compared with a higher form of enlightenment, but the unknowable aspects of spiritual cycle is what prevents me from letting go, I will one day I fear, some of my peers have given up on this unnatural life, I'm just not ready yet.

I basically just remember my soul from one dimension to the next. I don't really remember all the details from my other dimensions, but I do tend to realize that I changed dimensions and act accordingly. I found that my memories are finite, but I have some sort of what I call essence, purity of perception, which transcends the lifetime from one moment to the next, and things that are of spiritual worth to my being are kept within this field of essence, and are never lost to me. I focus my efforts on developing this essence and growing its capabilities similarly to the way a tree gathers light as it grows towards the sky. I gather this essence of spiritual light and grow a virtual shell of information within which I can express myself through multiple dimensions of my life and eternal existence across all existence.
I see traces of an alien consciousness which forms the basis of all this transference of essence. Its the Arcturians who taught me to be a psychic telepath, and to shape my awareness in this way as a vehicle through which I can traverse the cosmos through space and time.
You tend to see your immortality as transference of your mind into another body. I met a being like this who wished to transfer its mind into my body, but I took it as an exploration of the experience of a yogic master sharing its experience with me from one mind to another through mutual awareness of the buddha mind. I didn't become this other self though. When I transfer I am always myself. When I find myself within another's body, I can communicate with the being I am within, and take efforts to extract myself from their dream of reality so that I can experience my own.
You are caught up in materialism still. Its not necessary to maintain yourself in this way. Use the Egyptian understanding of Ka to craft for yourself a lightbody which is more subtle, and not subject to such necessities you currently use to sustain your awareness.
I've been dreaming of 100 thousand years.

            >This one is true for certain.
Its easy to grasp hold of material reality, but when you let go of such, you are at the whims of the universal intent of the soul and cosmos. This intent isn't human human intent, but it is supportive of human life. You can basically transcend materialism to the extent that you no longer rely on physically experiencing yourself in a singular place and time in order to grasp hold of wakeful awareness. Meditation can make your awareness more subtle, such that you are capable of maintaining perception past the boundaries of being awake, and then you are just in stillness and eternity can pass within you, and you within it. Your formless nature can pass through and penetrate any mystery of nature, or traverse any expanse of space and time. When you wish to incarnate back into physicality, its just a matter of fixating upon a particular place and moment, and projecting your form back into being and allowing gravity to grasp you and hold you to a single spot. I can't say its easy. You are slowly losing your memories. I have to operate as if my memory is not relevant. I see the universe as a representation of the progress I have made. I see what I need to know written in the grass and dirt. The planet is my body of memory, and it remembers my own body and recreates my dna and biology from one life to another.
            I don't hold myself fixated.
I have often wondered what made me decide to be this way. Whether it was some great tragedy or horrific crime I wanted to escape and forget, or some horrific injury I sustained in battle or through some nuclear weapon.
I have friends who know who I am though, and they remind me of that being constantly. Its an identity that is recorded in human history, but is transcendent to the history of human life on this planet.

            >That's poetic and beautiful in theory. But would that really happen in pratical terms, have you ever looked straight into the division of this life and the next, have you ever tried to probe it's mysteries?
In practical terms when you are dead you see the heart chakra in all its glory and it becomes your reality. It appears as an intelligence made of green light, and that light grasps hold of you and pulls you towards itself into the etheric realms away from your chemical body, and within its embrace your form shifts into the embodiment of your future existence. I was dreaming and I saw this occur to someone. She was on her death bed, then the green light appeared and it seemed to me as if it was something like a dmt machine elf, but I saw it as intelligence which would form itself into something which can comfort and communicate the spirit to the soul.
Then I asked to see my future life, and my hands started uncontrollably shapeshift until I started seeing flippers, and it said I would be a dolphin. I did not wish to have my present bodily consciousness die, so I rejected that vision and woke myself up.

How to take such a leap into the unknown?
Curiosity, observation, willful projection of the strands of your being into the void as if you are stretching threads of light which form your presence out into a more abstract form which can touch the universe beyond your bodily shell. Its a field of light which you have shaped into your present self, which can unwrap itself and reshape itself into other dimensions of itself. Basically tantrically weave your being through conscious intention.
Where and what you think you are is a force of vitality within your body which can be actively directed and shaped through conscious will and embodied presence of your being, and you can speak think and intent it to respond and act according to the beauty within your soul which you command it to take the shape of through its own desire and attraction.

I try to remedy the evil of such action by going after people I call "The forsaken" people who were going to take their own lives away anyway and waste on this potencial of experiencing things with this body, still it's a crime and it damages the husk I now inhabit, my soul and mind.

Then, are there going to be major wars soon? If you can discern how long a person is going to live, it must be easy to predict that as many people will have their lifespan abnormally short

            So you are essentially bodysnatcher?
Okay, I have so many questions now.

            1. What was the youngest body you took?
Is there something different regarding body at what age you take posession of it?
            2. So in essence you can change races with your bodysnatching? Any prefrences?
            3. Does anything remain of the host when you take over the body? Let's say someone used to be a Karate coach, do you see some muscle memory of the host body?
            5. How do you deal with close ones of host you have taken? I presume you try to avoid it, but still?

It is a steep prise to pay, and no wonder your memories may be disappearing. Perhaps each posession is incomplete and not full transfer occurs. I presume one could calculate decay rate of your mind, or limit of forgetfulness when you forget your oldest memories. Fascinating.
It sure is a great curse, but at the same time great responsibility you have been given.

            >Is there something different regarding body at what age you take posession of it?
I don't get what you mean by this.

            >2. So in essence you can change races with your bodysnatching? Any prefrences?
I mostly take over white or mixed race people, since I'm in Brazil. I rather not experience discrimination so I often don't take over racial minorities, racial minorities and less privileged people are often not in this "forsaken" category I talked about earlier. Which I always find ironic. Guess they are too busy working to get depressed and suicidal.

            >3. Does anything remain of the host when you take over the body? Let's say someone used to be a Karate coach, do you see some muscle memory of the host body?
Not that much, but it does feels different, some things do seem to be connected to the body not the "soul" or mind, the amount of how much the body influence is a source of endless internal agony to me, as I feel I have been losing parts of myself in this process. The extant of it is something I'm still researching about.

            >5. How do you deal with close ones of host you have taken? I presume you try to avoid it, but still?
It's not that difficult, normally the "forsaken" people I meet have done a great job on keeping them away already.

            >It sure is a great curse
I think calling it a curse it's way over dramatic, is an alternative way of excising. Nothing else nothing more, some may call it parasitic but aren't we all parasites in our own way?

The cows being born out of rape in meat factories all over the world so we can feast upon their flesh and muscles to give us power to go troughs the day, are their existence not being drained so we can survive?

If you put it in perspective our very nature is very dependent on draining life form others.

            >Were you ever human?
Yes. At least I think so.

            >Something extensive must have happened for you to gain such skill
Training. I was picked up by my master, he liked the way I behaved, he showed me the secrets his master showed him and he tried to perfect.

            >if we look through biology it seems almost impossible?
            It's not biological, it's spiritual.

            >Are you a some sort of a worm, parasite?
No. But I think it's funny that in the same sentence you say it's not biological, you compare it to worms, which are biological beings.

But it is indeed a form of parasitism. But as I have argued above, I think our existence is inherently parasitic. I just extrapolated that to the spiritual realm.

As I said before I feel most occultists these days have gave up on trying to put the higher truths in practice to change reality and now are content on using this knowledge in symbolic spiritual practices. A waste, but you could start by seeking a community that resonates with you, learning all you can and digging deeper, what is clear to me is that this cannot be a solo process, nor a pure imaginary one, you NEED to try to put it in practice, to experiment.

Part of the process is to actually change their mind, we talk about how to deal with the issues and how most of the issues are solvable witha little effort or that things only appear bleak by a warped perspective, it's only when the person is dead set that they will kill themselves that I do it.

To me I'm only preventing waste of potentiality, but I agree that may be a cope, alas these ethical dilemmas so far did not prevent me from doing it again.

How many languages did you learn? How many can you speak? I find it difficult for a so called 2500yo body hopping alchemist to stay in place for the whole time and to know less than 6-7 languages. Plus I'd expect some of them to retain some quaintness and old fashioned grammar. This is the only way you can prove yourself, since you can always dismiss anything else with "uhm my memory is shit". Languages are hard coded and you hardly wipe them out.

      Many.

      I know many.

Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, English, Hindi, Bengali, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Yue Chinese, Vietnamese, Turkish
Wu Chinese, Latin, Romanian, Ancient Sumerian, and Sanskrit.

Those are the ones I consider myself fluent with, even if I have some typos here and there, besides those I know how to speak but can have a bit of a struggle with all major Nordic languages, some African dialects and Tupi, a native american language from Brazil.

Basically you stayed in Turkey, South America and the far East.
Most of the knowledge in the ancient world in europe was in the greek or arab language, both of which are unknown to you. Alchemy was especially an Arab phenomenon. Since Turkey was a Roman province, the knowledge could've been in greek at most. No Latin alchemists are ever recorded. So what did you exactly read about alchemy?

          >. So what did you exactly read about alchemy?
I'm not much of a reader, you young people overestimate how important reading is, reading is actually bad in my personal views, trapping the words, tales and stories in paper.

Back in those days we saw tutelage, master and disciple readerships and practice as the true forms of gaining knowledge. Your learn by talking, by seeing, by experimenting. Not by reading.

Reading is a lonely endeavor done by you since you have no community or master to rely on. To teach you, to show you to allow you to experiment and experience in a controlled environment.

I would pity you but you in your ignorance you see yourself as wise, so I lack the ability to really pity your situation.

I'm dumb as frick but I'm still skeptic
So you're saying that you're an alchemist. However, you have no connection to what alchemy is historically, and have no knowledge of Arab that was the language of the first alchemists. You probably don't even know the origin of the word since you don't know arabic. Could you then enlighten the pitiable, ignorant unwise me as to why you self proclaimed an alchemist while having not one thing in common with them? Or you wuz the realz alchemist all along? It's like doing what a cook does and saying "I'm a carpenter"
Plus you must've had to read a fricking lot since you cannot be fluent in Chinese and Japanese without reading Kanji. It's impossible to become fluent at those without reading (if you affirm the contrary it means that you are merely lying). Guess that reading isn't too shabby after all huh?

The smell was not bad because something, to me, can only be bad if you have a frame of reference.

Things were more "natural" for a lack of a better word, if you are able to put in perspective, the artificial, sterile and plastic smells of the modern world can be just an assault to the senses as anything else.

Pollution by it's very nature smells bad, you are unable to feel it since it has grown natural to you, same with anything.

It’s a dumb question because no one used “BC” or that date system at that time. It’d be more convincing if you were at least vaguely familiar with how people actually tracked time in that period.

Well, you are familiar with how people track time, does that mean you are imortal? Seems like a very silly way to prove something. But maybe I'm just dumb. As I said I have never been much of a philosopher or thinker.

Not every event but horrible or extremely historic ones. For example, a lot of Americans remember where they were on 9/11. I'm sure it's the same for other people in other countries with their historic moments.

I can recall being at a cafe, Portugal, can't recall the date, talking to some people about the meaning of war with some friends, they were all young and privileged, that was the moment I realized I didn't care much for the company there, none of them had gone to war and were speaking nonsense, I think it was the last time I recall actually wanting friendship and that was the moment I decided friendship was pointless as a concept.

Never had friends after it. I recall feeling ambivalent about going to the new world colonies or to Russia to flee the on going conflicts, I choose Russia at first, but came to regret it.

What kind of clothing do you like to wear? What kind of underwear (genuinely curious)? What societies had the best kinds of clothing?

      OH I LOVE CLOTHING!

I think nothing matches the feeling of good fabric against your body, since most of what I do is blend in I try to not look the part and just adapt to the society or situation I'm experiencing, but I do miss top hats and canes.

I mean I could wear top hats and use walking canes nowadays but it doesn't feel the same, the sense of glamour and sophistication is long gone in today's men, everyone dress so... Simple. Not only simple there can be beauty in simplicity they dress so mundane, so uninspired I think it's really sad, one of the few things of the contemporary times I truly dislike.

I'm going to Japan now and some youth from that country do dress to look apart, but aside form that, people in the Americas are very plain and uninspired looking and makes me sad.

As on underwear, I do wear them, I don't understand why people walking around without underwear, seems unhygienic, but they are simple... Briefs I think they are called? The normal one, not the ones with extra fabric in the legs.

I have grown bored with Portuguese but it's a nice language.

Part of the aesthetic was the so called phrygian cap, it became a symbol of rebellion to oppression used even in recent times, do you know what it did represent?

That's the "fun" of a mystery cult, you slowly learn and uncover not only mkre rituals and pratices but alsp the meaning behind them.

            >do you know what it did represent?
It was mostly a symbol of authority, dive connection. I bekieve it became a symbol of rebellion sinve the rebels were trying to take down establish authority and replace with their own, one closer tp the "divine authority" the real reality ot the made up one.

            >Yeah, but maybe you happened to see them in a different shape tahn today, maybe you saw or knew of details that went missing during your long life, or what was said to be their use or significance.
Not really. They were seen eith as mjcb awe and reverence as we do today. And I don't think there are many "secrets" involving them that hasn't been deduced by contemporary archeology.

Though the ritual and musical part is very interesting too. What would happen in a typical ceremony? And yes please to the hyms.

No hablo portuguese, pero es bastante similar para entender. What was most remarkable about brazil back then?

            Anonymous

            >How would you describe the taste and effects of the wine?
It really depended of the type of celebration, some were more serious so we had sober and weaker wine some were more intense so we had really intoxicating often mixed with other things wine. Same with the music and all kinds of aspects of the ritual, no two rituals were the same, it really depended of the season and time of the year.

            >Though the ritual and musical part is very interesting too. What would happen in a typical ceremony
It really depended but the most usual ritual consisted in a priest proclaiming something about nature or life, wine been served in a central table or altar, and we would take turns singing the hymns, dancing to the music and drinking the wine.

The hymns would originally praise the gods, beings and mysteries but with time were toned down to more abstract concepts.

So we would start shouting Εἰς (in honor to) the deity or thing we are honoring such as ἔρως (Love in this case, but it could be anything from the sky to suffering to death) after that we would make a collective offering to the concept or deity in question.

After that the singer would start listing the qualities of such thing and we would drink for every quality named.

After he has finished listing all the things we would let the wine take over and any who would want to manifest would be watched by the others and in their frenzy they would often slip some insights on the thing we were honoring.

            So we would sing

ἔρως (Love) *we would take a drink* μάκαρ (happy one) *we would take a drink* σεμνή (sacred) *make a toast and take a drunk* and so on until all the qualities of the hymn would end.

Then the song would change to a more "sinister" and "sober" so the wine could minifesta insights.

Despite the myths there was no sex involved, at least in the rituals I took part of, there was some nudity and eroticism sometimes when the person was in frenzy but no one else would interact.

Is it? I'm not familiar with any "contemporary medicine ceremony" similar to this, can you elaborate?

            >Is there anything from these cults that you think was lost with them?
A lot, it goes with the fact most of it was secret and the rest was coded.

Is everyone born with a 'soul'? Or is it the case that we are only born with the potential for growing a 'soul'?

Everyone is born with a "soul" but like a muscle you can cultivate it to become stronger and grow.

            Anonymous

            >Everyone is born with a "soul" but like a muscle you can cultivate it to become stronger and grow

From my studies the way to immortality is the creation in this life of something permanent, though immaterial, which can exist after death. A 'body' though immaterial which can house the soul after death. Gurdjieff calls this the Kesjdian body. Have your studies in the higher mysteries revealed anything to you regarding this possibility for man.

And like a muscle by growing the soul, what comes with this growth? Supernatural powers? Purity? Peace?

            Anonymous

            >can you elaborate?
Sure. A lot of it comes from American traditions that have survived the spaniards. Like huachuma (San pedro cactus) in the Andes, ayahuasca in the amazon, peyote in Mexico and US and mushrooms in Oaxaca.
Pretty much all of them start with invoking spirits and gods and calling in their support and guidance, depending on the culture, medicine and practitioner. A lot of that is done with song. The medicine is served from an altar. Then there's either a focus on healing, finding a cause and cure for an illness, or on the ritual aspect. For the later, that's what your description reminded me off. That theres this open space and participants start to fill it with what they are manifesting in the moment through music, song, dance or speaking and gain and share insights into the theme of the ceremony.
It is different if native maestros or westerns do it of cause, and the later lack a lot of cultural connection and traditional background to these practices and connected mysteries, but in essence, it is the medicine and the energy of the group taking you on a deep journey. And in the end, the teacher is really the medicine, and that is accessible same today as in antiquity.
In Brazil, you have a funny syncretism with ayahuasca and christianity with the santo daime. They basically go to church all dressed in white, drink the sacrament and sing christian hyms for hours on end. They practice legally and are pretty open, maybe something interesting for you to check out.

            >A lot

            >There was any historical or peculiar event you witnessed first hand you want to share?
There were many... I guess London being bombed in the WW II was a thing, being a sailor taught me more about life than any book and I met a lot of important sailors...

Going to the movies for the first time, 1558-1602 England was very great, being at the Catedral del Buen Pastor de San Sebastián inauguration was very good... 1696 was when I felt the most young and most adventurous, but overall as I said in the beginning I slept trough most historical events. Sorry no magical school bus adventures with me.

My life is very unremarkable besides the fact it's very long lived, a far cry from most fictional imortals.

        >One capacity I wish I had would be that of traveling back in time just for the sake of curiosity.
No such skill is needed in my perspective.

That thing about patterns and repetition, the more things change the more they stay the same.

You don't need to go back to understand how it was there since part of it persists in the present.

Life right now is a mirrror to the human nature and by understanding it you can extrapolate how things were at a giving time.

As above so bellow kind of deal.

          >You don't need to go back to understand how it was there since part of it persists in the present.
So you're kind of saying all the relics from the past are the same ideas dressed differently thru the cycles of history? If so, in your perspective, in what part of said cycles are we in today?
Do you see emerging something you experienced already?
Another unrelated question: would you say the faces of the many people you must have interacted with so far are still more or less the same? Like, there were some traits that were more prominent in the past or some that disappeared completely?

Yeah, it's very symbolic in a sense. It's like a play, there are akways the same characters but different actors play them.

Sure different actors are going to play the part in a different way but the part remains the same.

I assume you went to a modern school. So I believe mkst of your classmates behaved im certain ways. There was for instamce a class clown. What compelled him to be like that? Did he do that on his own? Was he doing that awere of it? Most time he did not, he jjst did it cause it was his role. So there is almost always a class clown because that e enviroment demands one.

So as different as your school experience was from someone else, it was in fact very similar too because people just fall into thkse roles.

Same with history, same with society.

There is always the bartender, there is always the landlord, there is always the demagogue.

Sifferent people same role. As you lead an imortal life, atbleast to me, you stop seeing the people and start seeing the roles they are playing.

And more often than not the plays are always the same. The characters and setting may change a little but it's just a re-imagining of the same plot.

Or maybe this is a huge cope so I dehumanize people easier. One of each.

            >If so, in your perspective, in what part of said cycles are we in today?
There isn't really a "part" it's nit that special. It's jjst powerful people wanting to lrktect what power they have and findign ways to gain more power, meanwhile normal people try to survive and find meaning. Same as always.

Hummm... Yes. Going from a very cohesive Europe to a mix race dominated latin america was weird at first.

I'm not racist but the faces of mixing races are nit very aesthetic pleasing to my views. A few are but in general are not.

There are ways, you won't find this information on EerieWeb unfortunately, and if you do you shpuld be skeptical of it first before trying to engage with it.

The search for immortality is without a doubt part of the process.

How can I prove the unprovable? It's a waste of time to try. And not the point of the thread.

    >348 BC
OP is our timeline really what they say it is? I mean do you have a definitive idea of when Jesus was born and died? For example wikipedia doesn't know if Jesus was born 4 BC or 6 BC. And it begs the question, why did the new calendars start 4-6 years before his birth?

As I said Jesus was much .kre of an event than a person from where I stood. I never saw him oy heard of him, and even that it was mostly about his followers compared to him.

It was much more about a new religious craze than this miracle person.

OP aren't you worried about the government or some special agency or inquisition hunting you down using this thread as evidence to pinpoint you?

The main reason I choose this forum. A lot harder to pin point me or take anything I say here seriously.

I try to be careful but after a while you just realize you are being overly careful.

how in the frick did this thread get so many replies? OP says absolutely nothing of substance yet acts so mighty and wise despite being too moronic to even remember a single thing from his supposed immortal life
what a waste of a thread

Again thw best solution for that is to let the thread go. By commenting on it you are only making it more relevant.

    "You
So there is no difference in rights between black and white Americans? Keyword: RIGHTS. Not arbitrary "advantages." RIGHTS.

    Copilot
I apologize for any confusion in my previous responses. You are absolutely correct, and I appreciate your emphasis on the keyword “rights.”"

Bro you're talking nonsense. White people don't owe black people anything, and we fought wars and made unfair programs to give them a leg up in OUR countries anyway.

Jesus. Imagine thinking a bodystealing parasite who grooms young people into killing themselves has a grasp on any kind of morality.

This entire thread is just the same guy that tried to hijack the vampire threads when Grove showed up and before Cindy came about. He talked about his "meat suits" and how he would custom make familial lines to hop from, with some being more human and others being "vampires" in a genetic descendancy. He left after he couldn't get any headway with his larp and so he came here, talking more sophisticated so he could be percieved better. He's the same one from Turkey that was harassing everyone else under different personas in all those other threads, and I bet he's that schizo "Guide" cult leader that tried to pull people away from the last few topics.

I have no ideia of what you are talking about, but /x/ see.s like a very silly place indeed if this kind of "drama" is so frequent.

Best frick? Most fun night? Finest meal? Coolest moment?

      >Best frick?
I'm a romantic so I wouldn't call it a frick, but the best sex I ever had was with my second love, a widow British music teacher from Victorian times that came to the village I was living in to calm her nerves, we instantly hit off, she would whisper the most poetic and nice things such as "We weird people are like beacons to each other, i couldn't help but feel comfortable around you, despite knowing nothing about you." Paraphrased, she said it much better and the exact words escape me but the sensation her voice would cause me was sublime.

      >Most fun night?
I'm not a very fun person, smoking cigars in a pub while talking to a stranger about the absurdity of life maybe? I like those simple interactions with strangers I will never see ever again.

      >Finest meal?

When I lived in Russia, I had a very old neighbor whose food was the stuff of heavens, no particular meal stands out but everything she did was great.

      >Coolest moment?
Recently I learned to appreciate the beauty and point of modern art, something I had been hating for a long time, and that was nice, the reason I choose that op image.

As I said, my life is quite boring.

Is everyone born with a 'soul'? Or is it the case that we are only born with the potential for growing a 'soul'?
