Can't, soul is imprisoned in central nervous system which directly shocks it when you take damage which causes pain. Pain releases energy from soul which attracts parasitic beings and archons who then feed on it in order to prolong their pathetic lives.

    So the only escape
    1. Damage central nervous system until it's unable to hold soul (suicide)
    2. Literally do not give a shit about anything ever and be happy in spite of God (enlightenment)

      >Literally do not give a shit about anything ever and be happy
That is a core principle of many ancient Vedanta texts.
      >Avadhuta Gita
      >Ashtavakra Gita
      >Yoga Vasistha
Caring about something creates it; since all is consciousness.

"Misfortune comes from having a body. Without a body, how could there be misfortune? Surrender yourself humbly; then you can be trusted to care for all things."
      -Lao Tzu
      >basically; just thug it out, homie.

The middle way, which is no way, is the witness. What we truly are is eternal awareness observing the dream of life for a while.

Sorry OP your post showed up in my reality where I am the protagonist and have quantum immortality because it's my reality, can't get very far without me in it.
Unfortunately for you this means you are an illusion of my mind to help me cope with the fact that I am the only sentient being in existence.

What causes pain should be your attachment that you need to let go off. Unless of course it's physical pain or some chronic illness or whatever. Once you let go of all attachment you won't even want to escape, not that you shouldn't keep trying, but you get the point

        >Furthermore, Subhuti, if a good man or good woman who accepts, upholds, reads or recites this Sutra is disdained or slandered, if they are despised or insulted, it means that in prior lives they committed evil acts and as a result are now suffering the fruits of their actions. When their prior life’s evil acts have finally been dissolved and extinguished, he or she will attain the supreme clarity of the most fulfilled, and awakened mind.
        So that's that

You want to escape this reality? Have the chance to experience nondualism, enlightenment, nirvana. Just say yes and Ultra Corps will port you to a new paradigm where you are realized and free from your prison. It's time to wake up!

Phenomenologically, "you" aren't the same thing as your experiences and what is "you" at the most basic level cannot be touched by the contents of experience. This isn't an endorsement of relativism or nihilism, just a simple observation. You can, with practice, separate yourself a bit so that the contents of your experiences, including physical pain, are less immanent than they are now, though this comes with certain tradeoffs as well as the risk of losing sight of other important things in life.
Alternatively, take the view that what you suffer in life is your cross to bear, that you must bear it to the end in order to be raised from the dead.

It's way more than just your dream, bro.
You are the ever existing flow of energy acting out all of creation as an expression of self. You (person who wrote OP) are playing a part in a story that you (everything) wrote and casted yourself (all things sentient and nonsentient.) in. keep going. this is what you're meant to do. it's spooky to think about when you zoom out that far at first but you start to feel a lot better because this entire thing is YOU. Like how when you played pretend in the backyard as a kid and "died" then when the game was over you went inside for lunch.

I keep feeling close to going lucid, but I'm reminded of the consensus that freely doing things like leaving my body or just appearing at where I want to be aren't possible and that's, so far, been enough to stop lucidity. The dream keeps pulling me back in and makes me lose my train of thought when I start to remember what it was like before I was stuck here.

Lol you will do absolutely nothing, do you know how I know? Because you would be out there finding out how to wake up. You just want attention, to have your little negative attention moment.

Keep holding on brother. It’s always darkest before the dawn. This year will not complete without a major shift in consciousness. The amount of people who feel the way you do is growing and growing. Major change is coming. The first will be last and the last will be first.
