How to achieve original nature?

>Just be present here and now and sink your consciousness into your dantian bro
How? If it was that easy everybody would do it. What's the catch? I can't just not think all the time.

Having the same problem doing what? How many hours are you putting into it? You keep asking the same questions.

what no body tells you is that you must first recover the higher faculty with which this becomes possible in the first place.

and that faculty is recovered with....
    celibacy

you may say "oh no, damn." but it is what it is. there is a reason why monkhood exists, why they push for brahmacharya or the "bigu" diet ("grain" free diet), which is metaphorical about abstaining from the most popular thing, namely cooming.

when the mind is refined through the conversion of jing to chi and chi to shen, then the immortal fetus is nourished and certain higher faculties come online.
it can not be communicated or put into words.. its sort of a vivid isness and stillness. its like you become more conscious or aware, its like going from 60fps to 240fps, it does not seem like something has changed, but there is a change and you can feel it and it becomes most evident when you sit down and stay still for a while.

it is the means with which you induce the vibrational state aka "piti" in buddhism which then leads to the birth of the immortal fetus or as its called in buddhism, the entrance into jhana #1.

what you are seeking is naturally attained in the higher jhanas, as the higher you go, the more you let go.
ultimately, this ends in cessation (nirvana) or original nature.

in this pure nothingness or chaos or void, wuwei occurs which catapults you back out of it. afterwards, you are a saint fr fr... because you will have seen God and lived afterwards to try to tell the tale, which you will fail, because effing the ineffable is impossible, so you will leave with allegories, parables, approximations in the form of poetry!

I have been celibate for like half a year now. I did this in the past for 2 years and I know I can do this indefinitely but it doesn't have any effect on me. I have no higher faculties. I am just a normal guy who doesn't touch himself. Am I missing something?

get as in tune with your body as you can
feel your initial reactions to everything and anything
you must have zero resistance to your own feelings
you must not incarcerate yourself with any external rules
its pretty much as simple as that

    >I can't just not think all the time.
you have to get into your body
develop your wit and your social prowess, and you will naturally animate your words on the spot as you need to. you won't need to preemptively come up with this or that narrative.
all rationality finds its foundation in the way we feel about things.

    if you're stuck in your mind, you are perhaps doing one of a few things;
-lonely, thinking to essentially create a friend
    -boredom
-feeling like you have to justify yourself to the outside/others
-physically in pain/avoiding the body, so reclusing into the mind
-language centers of the brain/body are strained

    As others have intuned:
The poet that can effortlessly redefine the rules of rhyme do so because they know so very well the rules.
The fighter that flows like water understands the shapes water will take.
Flight comes not from defying gravity, but from understanding it.

No, the point is precisely about defying gravity. That’s the entire point of self-realization and spiritual liberation, or not?

Bit of both. Understanding self has no part of the workings of material energy allows one to let go of trying to control those workings which viewed from another's perspective looks like acting in the flow.

You need to relax. Be still. Have discipline. Ignore thoughts and feelings and pains. Put your awareness in dantian. Emotions and thoughts are fire. Fire rises. Be like water. Water sinks. You see that guy sitting in your picture? That's what you need to learn. Learn how to sit. Straighten the spine. Open the body. Everything will protest. Your body will ache. Your emotions don't like to be ruled. Your body doesn't like to be ruled. They want to rule you. They will protest. You will feel resistance, because you have never trained this. Keep your awareness in your dantian. Keep relaxing. Keep still. Like a mountain lake. Conquer yourself. Start with 30 minutes every day. Discipline is everything. You see, it won't be easy, that's why most people fail.
    Here is how to start:
Sit in lotus or half lotus position or cross legged.
    Straighten the spine.
    Relax your head muscles.
    Relax your face muscles.
    Relax your neck.
    Relax your shoulders.
    Relax your arms.
    Relax your midriff.
    Relax your hips.
    Relax your legs.
    Now sit in your dantian.
    Don't visualise.
Don't try to grab the dantian with your mind.
It will be like trying to push a tennis ball underwater, doesn't work. Just put yourself in that area.
At first you will feel nothing, but keep at it.
Some people call dantian meditation "learning how to sit". On the surface it seems a simple exercise, but it has many facets. With enough training(relaxation) you will feel like you dissolve into a black hole or something. At this moment, you are finally relaxed. You may start to levitate. You have conquered your emotions and your body. You are not a noob anymore. Now your real training can begin.
