I like to think it's 50/50. Is that my stupid monkey brain being wienery? Maybe. Maybe, my stupid monkey brain is simply unable to comprehend the ways in which it has been influenced. Or perhaps I've been in control of every single aspect of my life, in the same way my body regulates its heartbeat. Neither of these are knowable, IMO.

Dope pic. I didn't take one cause I'm dumb.

Also do any of you feel perpetual existential anxiety?

IMO it's 100% predetermined, that's why some people experience quantum immortality so that in case something goes unplanned like a road accident they get brought back to last safe position and if not possible they come out with next to no damage from a total wreck

Personally experienced for over 12 years precognitive dreams which lead me to believe that atleast my life is on rails

Control your mind and you control your reality. Man becomes what he thinks and does.

Life is not pre determined, we all have the ability to create and achieve whatever we want if we put our mind to it.

People saying otherwise are living under an illusion.

FYI some people believe this is possible via Don Juan/Castaneda/Olmec sorcery. I recently saw this thread reply on a forum that said, “ first, you have to intend to do in lucid dreams after you have crossed all the gates of dreaming. After you have perfected this new form in dreaming, then your dreaming body swaps places with your physical body and you will completely be the opposite sex. The effect would only last for a day at a time, but it would be a totally real experience”

You know how in movies, when the protagonist doesn't want to Do The Thing, the world around them conspires to force them to Do The Thing anyway just in unexpected ways? It's like that, but less comedic/overt. You can make any decision you want, internally, but circumstances always conspire to push you in a direction. This doesn't necessarily mean to get you to some specific state, it's not that you're destined to make this or that specific choice, but you become the person you were always going to be on a fundamental level, regardless of whatever superficial tokens of this or that identity that people tend to think matter more.

Predeterminism is "things that are outside of our control", by definition, if you changed something, you were able to do it, so you had the free will to change it.
If you can't do anything about something, it is predetermined to happen, from your perspective, from someone else's perspective, they may be able to change it, and for them, it's not predetermined.
But things that you can't change NOW, that are predetermined, could have been changed by YOU in the PAST, so right now you're predetermining many things that in the future will be outside of your control.
You are writing the future, your actions will echo for eternity.

Maybe the universe is just a big plinko machine. When the big bang happened, every piece of matter was put on a set predetermined trajectory, so everything that has ever happened are the only things that could or will happen ever

you have freewill to choose your decisions or path in life
your choices arrive at predetermined futures depending on outside factors beyond your control
therefore each "choice" you make, depending on the time you took them will have a different "predetermined outcome" because of availability or unavailability of outside factors that will influence it's creation
you can choose your destiny but you cannot change your fate because it is predetermined
if you choose a different destiny then fate follows it
destiny is the journey, fate is the place you arrive to (outcome)

It would seem certain people are higher on the "birthright" ranking. I don't know if it's "good goyim" points accumulated for working for achons in past lifes, or if these spirits with vast material wealth (higher class of wealthy european people, and even they look a little bit different from rest of populace? not necissarily israeli, but something else..) are "different". Could be to do with "dragon families", some people have inherited more of the "fallen angel" dna, tribe of dan etc.. I just know there's a spiritual warfare going on, where you enter a room, nobody will say anything, but it's possible for you to feel uneasy around other people for whatever reason. That happens to me quite often.

Everything is deterministic and you have no free will

Without determinism will would not be able to exert itself, or come to be. However, will can be free still because not all things are deterministic. Look at chaotic systems, such as the brain, and you find things aren't so set in stone.

        you're coping hard

Without determinism will would not be able to exert itself, or come to be. However, will can be free still because not all things are deterministic. Look at chaotic systems, such as the brain, and you find things aren't so set in stone.

chaos theory merely describes systems that are so chaotic they are impossible to predict(by humans). However, these systems are still deterministic, all of these systems would play out exactly the same every time if the initial conditions were to start the same. This includes the human brain. Also, the fact the universe is deterministic disproves the fact that there is any such thing as "will"

          Anonymous

You'll figure out why that's wrong eventually. It's easy to mix up chaos theory with complex chaotic systems.

            Anonymous

It is not a mix up. No matter the complexity to a chaotic system, it is still deterministic

          >all of these systems would play out exactly the same every time

You'll figure out why that's wrong eventually. It's easy to mix up chaos theory with complex chaotic systems.

When we train AI the result is different every time, despite the data and the process of training being the same. We start with random biases and they influence the way data is embedded within a network. Even if you match the random weights, data shuffling and stochastic optimization algorithms still lead to unique results.
