    Probably bait but I'll bite.
Assuming you mean The Lord, you can bypass church and pick up a copy of the Bible.
As a first read skip the old testament and dive into the gospel of Luke.
Take your time, don't rush and reflect on what you read.
Pray, not in an organized way, no need to cross yourself or even speak aloud, just close your eyes and pray to The Lord.
Whatever is in your heart or mind at the time.
Lord, help me to open up my heart to your will.
Lord, please help me to use the gifts you have given me to find the path you wish for me to tread.
    Etc. Etc.
When finished with Luke, reflect on what was written. Processing Jesus teachings.
    Move on to Matthew.
    Repeat previous steps.
    Then Mark.
    Repeat previous steps.
    Then John.
    Repeat previous steps.
Next, start applying what you have learned from the teachings of The Lord Jesus in everyday life.
Pray, personally, to The Lord at least twice a day(morning and evening).
From this point forward see if you can find a bible study group(Any denomination or non denominational)
Never be afraid to ask questions of The Lord when you pray. Be open and honest to God in your personal prayers.
After that, use what you have learned as a compass to help show you the path The Lord wants you to follow to be closer to Him and the path He wishes you would follow.
Never forget that you have fee will and God will never force you to do anything or Him.
Organized religion is not for everyone, and I say that as a practising Roman Catholic who's faith in the integrity of the church and pope.
May The Lord God bless you and keep you close to his heart.
    Best of luck

      >pick up a copy of the Bible.
The Bible just confuses me even more. There's so many "contradictions". Each time I read a verse and feel like I learned something. There's probably another verse talking against it, some kind of interpretation "gotcha" or the verse is simply promising to a specific person (not any Christian)

For example the Bible says if you pray for bread God won't give you a snake. And he will give good gifts to you. Obviously this isn't what happens in reality. Because not everyone who prays gets a good gift.

But there have been multiple times where the exact opposite of my prayer is what happened. Why does God make failed promises?

I've been praying for years for a sign or a blessing yet I don't think I've been given any. My life is still stagnated and I don't know what to do.

Ignore all gods with hate in them.

The verse is just saying that even evil men don't commit acts of wanton malice against their own children, so imagine what God gives his. In the context of what's going on in that page they are also talking about the kingdom of heaven, so not that if you just pray you get shit, but those rewards are after death.

How is that passage even remotely confusing? This is why normies shouldn't have access to the bible holy Moses.

shut up. close eyes. close ears. it's hard, yet what could be more effortless than not doing? constantly distracted from god, of true being, of the one, because you think you are more, you think there is more, but no more can be since all is a part of it as a whole, and in you, you in it, through it all is available, through you all is available, but you are married to photographs and artistic renderings while the subject breathes before you now. quit it. quit the longing and the mourning and live. die to live. no death, no life. what you do does not define you and it is better that you don't "know" what to do, because truly there is only pretense of such knowledge, of how the sequence of events will unfold. be like an idiot and enjoy the show. no matter where you go, what you do, it's really all the same show, so go wherever you are most at peace, and do whatever you can to detach from these false selves, from what you call your life. surely, you cannot even know but the memories of a fraction of your sequence of events. most is lost, but carry forward awareness and rest in it. don't feel so compelled. you are here, and that is enough, it is proof of god's love, which is also your own, that you exist because you want to, because god wants you to, and for all intents and purposes, without getting caught up on technicalities and formalities, you are the same. embrace yourself, your infinite form, and enjoy the show.

Could you be more specific? The biggest thing is learning to resist temptation, practicing humility and discernment all the while. There is a natural ebb and flow to the universe, one should act in accordance with this as much as possible. Understand that the teachings in the Bible serve as objective standards of morality and are not necessarily the end-all-be-all for living a good life

One thing to remember is that you are always in control of your life: God gave us free will as the ultimate expression of love. It's easy to put all our personal agency in a creator, angels, etc. but understand that you are a sovereign, independent being with equal divinity and rights to operate in the free world.

God's desires for your life are irrelevant. What matters are your desires, as you are source, and all God's creation lies within you.

Love and being truthful in everything especially in your thoughts. When you are in a truly loving state you will be guided. Do everything out of love before you try to enact will. Will before love is destruction. Love is the cosmic law and you can give it and receive it through thought alone.

I always ask people why an omnipotent god ever needs help to reach a person, and why a good one would leave anybody in the dark.

If your life is a dumpster fire, good news, you're normal. The bad news is also that is normal.

Don't take NAC. Seriously don't do it. I'm pretty sure it killed my connection to God and my imagination. Like it nuked my spirituality. I find very little joy in anything anymore. Don't take NAC.

I always hope to read this answer when people say they talk or pray to god to no avail.

I was taught to command in god and his angels, not ask, not demand, but command.

    For instance.

"Archangel Michael, I command you take my pain away, do it in the name of light, I command you in the lords name to help me find a job, give me strength" thank him, ask for forgiveness, but never beckon to as a less than.
