Have you read the peer-reviewed published research paper about Maria yet?
>no amputation of digits or modification, she was a genuine tridactyl humanoid
>weird mouth mandibles
>extreme wear on teeth
>apparent surgical removal of two molars
>dates to about 2000ya
>severe arthritis
>weird spine, weird feet, walked at an incline
Whatever she was, she really was a living being that existed near the end of the Parasca or beginning of the Nasca period
and she seems to have had some pretty major differences from humans

Always check if journals actually reject papers before claiming that it's 'peer reviewed'
        They're not even a biology/archaeology publisher

like three or four dozen scientists, half a dozen labs, multiple universities and government bodies
        keep moving those goalposts

Multiple international journals would be nice yeah

They publish all sorts of shit. And being a low-impact journal doesn’t mean they’re automatically some sort pseudoscience bullshit, it’s a legitimate academic journal and they still do peer-review.

I could just as easily publish a paper in this journal
My point is that the authority of "It's in a peer reviewed journal" in this case is moot because it's a predatory journal that prays on shitters.
If you want to discuss what's in it that's fine - but the extra reputation from being associated with that publisher is 0 at most generous.

The anatomical differences are interesting but it doesn't really prove anything (For example some of the small mummies have different numbers of ribs despite looking very similar)
These things could be "manufactured" but "real" at the same time. The main theory right now is a lot of the small mummies were the product of genetic engineering.
This is like Avi Loeb making the argument that UFOs over Ukraine can't be real because anything moving 20,000 MPH would burn up in the atmosphere.

Brian Foerester discussed DNA analysis on separate Nasca mummies a few years ago. He purportedly had difficulty publishing because the DNA was so strinkinly different than anything seen previously. It's anecdotal at this point, but other research does support this paper and it is a legitimate published work.

Peru ministry of culture has seized some of the Nazca mummies, filed a criminal complaint on Maussan, invaded a live presentation on the mummies and ordered it shut down, and smeared Maussan who in turn sued them for 300 million and is winning.

John McDowell, an american scientist who has received the highest accreditation/award possible in the field of forensics has concluded based on preliminary investigation of Maria, the mummy in the OP, that the body is authentic, a once-living being. Despite this, there is almost zero coverage of the mummies in mainstream media.

In conclusion, TPTB are most definitely trying to memoryhole this, but they are not omnipotent.

Publication is throwing a gauntlet down to other scientists to disprove the work and anyone who has spent any time in academia knows that professional academics absolutely get off on proving each other wrong if possible. A research study on fricking three finger alien mummies is practically a beacon to these people, inviting them in to tear it all apart and shit all over it if they can. The mummies are definitely real. The sad part is that the people controlling the narrative around them (Maussan, the Incari institute, etc) can't or refuse to talk about where they really came from.
They expect us to believe they found like 100 of these mummies in a small 5ft x 20ft cave. If they revealed the actual place they came from then it would have a lot of implications that people are not ready for.

      Anonymous

I thought Thierry Jamin had provided at least a rough description of the cave and stratigraphy, and that Maussan’s involvement is completely overblown

        Anonymous

Thierry gets the mummies from Mario. Maussan buys them from Mario or others with money. Neither one of them except Mario really knows where they come from.
In the Gaia documentary Mario showed them some small cave and Thierry said he was skeptical that it was the real place.
The original story was that most of them were found in a sarcophagus inside a huge underground necropolis with pre-inca megalithic stonework and gold relics (also possibly some live or hibernating 'aliens').

I'm fed up with the Nazca mummies, why isn't anybody talking about literal alien corpses, uh? Is it because it's probably a larp, a doll? Why aren't the "big" universities analyzing something so important? I think it's all fake, but actual "proof" being posted here and on other forums for everyone to ignore it is extremely irritating. Looks like a child crying wolf, is the wolf actually there or not?!

        >Supplement with threats and bribes as needed
yeah, could figure that out, but it doesn't help that the one who started all this is a known grifter..I do hope this is all true, but people not talking about it can't just be corruption and everything you wrote. This is supposed to be something revolutionary and yet no one is interested or demanding further analysis...they're not even bothering to prove how fake it is, it's probably a tactic, but are you guys so sure these mummies have any relevancy?

          Anonymous

          >grifter
This word has become the new "conspiracy theorist", "con artist" or "pseudoscientist", as in, a default insult leveled towards any public figure deviating from the accepted narrative, to be used freely without any requirement to justify the use of the word by the accuser. You or anyone else calling Maussan a grifter has absolutely zero relevance to his credibility. Not that his credibility matters when discussing the mummies, since Maussan is just presenting them for others to study.
          >This is supposed to be something revolutionary and yet no one is interested or demanding further analysis
It seems you are inexperienced in observing how the larger public deals with extremely disruptive information.
          >are you guys so sure these mummies have any relevancy
The various Nazca mummies have now had over 50 people with varying scientific backgrounds study them in person, and not a single one of them have presented the opinion that the mummies are in any way fake. In addition to bones and skin, the mummies contain offspring in the form of eggs (in the case of the little guys) or fetuses (in the case of Maria), and complete vascular systems which connect the mothers with their children. This would be impossible to fake, doubly so that it would fool the most accredited forensic scientists in the world, like John McDowell.

No one who attacks the mummies' veracity has thus far studied them in person. Take Neil Degrasse Tyson, who was vocal about his opinion that the mummies were fake, when presented with the opportunity to go see the mummies, declined on the grounds that he's not a biology expert.

There's a language barrier which alongside the media blackout makes it difficult to gather specific information on the mummies, but a good place to start is this presentation in english by a Phd professor: https://youtu.be/FlNjET011Q8 . Cosmic Road youtube channel is also a good resource to keep up with developments regarding the mummies.

People already think stuff like Ancient Aliens is a joke. I don't think it's contemporaneous enough for most people to care, or for the government to insist on seizing the artifacts.

It would be more interesting if the descendants of these creatures were still around today, but we don't have much evidence of that, and tiny little grey-like beings don't seem to be involved in modern alien sightings and abductions anyway. It's just another thing that's going to be buried, sadly.
