How did this happen? Who was the other one? Do I know mine or was I the product of another? Or was it her?

Radiation at high enough levels kills both humans and electronics, and while shielding is obviously possible, why bother when you can avoid it?

But obviously this is the boring answer and will be ignored, but I felt the need to at least try.

What the hell are ya’ll talking about, the radiation is very mild.
The Apollo astronauts received a much lower dose than expected, completely negligible and harmless.
van Allen said it’d be dangerous but he was just wrong. Ironically, he told them to detonate a nuke in space to “clear the radiation,” which of course did the exact opposite instead.

The Van Allen belt is a torus, not a sphere.
Funny how Talmudic flattards will accept spheres exist around the Earth when the argument requires it, though.

How can something like Black Knight Satellite exist if something as intense as this VAB is constantly destroying equipment?

Its the ceiling thats it, nowhere to go. Creation is finite only the soul is immortal.

If the soul was immortal but creation finite then we would get bored in a blink out our cosmic lifespan's eye
If there is infinity anywhere then there is infinity everywhere

the radiation is significant but you have to understand that alpha and beta particles have no penetrating power. A single sheet of newspaper will stop them. That's why they wear those white paper suits at Fukushima. As long as you're not near the reactor getting gamma, which goes through 3 feet of concrete, you're good. All the alpha and beta gets lodged in the paper suit. Take it off and throw it in the garbage and you're good to go. VA belts are the same. Radiation never penetrates beyond a fraction of a inch into the skin of the spacecraft. Gamma radiation, that's the one you have to be worried about. And there is no more gamma in the VA belts than there is anywhere else. Including what you're getting right now.

Mfw people unironically think we went there 50 years ago, landed first time, played golf, drove an electric car, made a phone call, arrived safely home then destroyed the technology and forgot how to do it.

Have you even looked at the footage? It looks fricking ridiculous by today's standards of special effects.

We can't go there, only listen to what "experts" say about it. Why would I pretend that I know?

I dont know. Why DID you pretend that?
Or more pertinent - why join the thread at all if you have zero ability or desire to discuss the topic?
