the odds of being born a human are like winning the lottery 1 trillion times in a row. These odds are impossible, thus I was placed here by another entity

That would be true if your consciousness existed before your current body existed and was selected to be placed into your current body out of a pool of possible things that could support your consciousness. But if your consciousness developed inside your current body after you were born then the chance of you being you would be 100%

Not based guy you're replying to, but what you're saying is even more rare because on top of beating the odds to become a thing that can experience me, my life and personality formed into the me of right now instead of the infinite other possible me's I could be right now, like obese me or me with a mowhawk

Also the iron dome is effectively fireworks shooting bottle rocket made by farmers, the second a real military fires missiles the united states and France need your tax dollars to shoot missiles out of the sky, but isn't that what iron dome is for? People say drones, but wouldn't they be easier to shoot down?

    >nothing immaterial about the human experience
Metaphysical objects exist. An example would be the final message at the end of a game of telephone, in which a dozen people are whispering a message in each other's ear, started by the first person in the group, and then passing from one person to the next, until the last person states the message as they heard it (maybe).

The message mutates unpredictably as it gets passed from one person to the next, with each mutation occurring for any number of reasons. One person may think it's funny to change the message; another person may not hear the message correctly; another person may have a terrible memory and not repeat the message as they heard it; another person may have a poor vocabulary, not understand a word, and replace it with something else. Factors such as acoustics of the room, decibel level of background noise, hydration level of participants (dry mouth changes the way one sounds), regional accents, an individual's sense of humor, and a myriad of other elements impact the message output at the end of the game.

The final message is the product of a number of physical components, but the message itself is not a physical thing. Furthermore, it would be impossible to predict what the message will end up being. Even if you could constantly measure the state of each particle in the room (impossible), the act of measuring would potentially change the outcome, so you'd never be able to say for certain what the message would have been had you not measured.

The final state of the message is undoubtedly part of the participants' "human experience" -- that's the entire reason people play the game. The output message can be hilarious, crass, complete gibberish, or it can be the original message the first person created (which can be surprising). The output message also isn't a material thing in and of itself, and it's impossible to predict via physical measurements.

You wouldn't have made the post if this were true. There is so much even wilder stuff out there and I don't find myself going over to their communities to tell them something is false. You're keeping the discussions and topics alive for a reason.
