          What was your first dream

I couldn't tell you what my first dream was, as they are so fleeting, unless you perhaps are referring to the single persisting one that we strive each day to perfect. However, the first dream that I specifically recall that would over time repeat in variations was of the old coal chute in my basement instead leading to a factory of some form, which i would tour, then eventually find the way out of, back into the "real" world.

One of my first dreams were like humanoids made of flowing mud changing my diaper but in retrospect i suppose that was shit

Ahahah, the potty training dream, lucky to remember such early things. That's one bit of knowledge that I will give old Freud credit for, the toddler having distress flushing shit away because the ego is not yet developed enough to separate it from himself.

Damn you are right. Its something that came from repeat lucid dreaming.

But the actual words are best crystallized from the Comic "It Hurts" you should read it

Sheer homosexualry. I vehemently disagree. Sure, my dreams have a marginal influence on my personality, but I am completely certain that I am the same me after sleep every night.

This is an example of why Democracy is the most reasonable governmental form in the long run. You are wrong. You have no evidence to back up your claim, I have no evidence to back up my claim. I personally think that your claim would scare kids so it shouldn’t be disseminated. Therefore, if I were dictator, I would simply kill you for having an idea I disagree with.

With Democracy, we all get to vote on the ideas. But alas, as the United States has taught us, people are generally too stupid for voting.

Pardon my friend, but I believe you are making a terrible error. See how you used the word "certainty" there? You should not be certain of that which requires faith, because you cannot be. Conflating faith or belief with certainty is egregious, but unfortunately extremely common. What you are advocating for is self-deceit, likely validating your own. Please reflect and see the error in this. Nothing should require you to subconsciously abandon your admittance of the true quality of being uncertain of that which is unknowable. Truly there is only one thing you can know for certain to be true, one rule, and that is that you can know nothing else for certain to be true but this rule. Certainty really should not apply to anything, but weak minds are inclined to adopt it and lean on it. It serves practicality and the ego. However, it is primitive. Believing something, having faith in it, does not require certainty. If I have faith my brother will not betray me, it doesn't mean I am certain of it; I simply believe he isn't one to do it, and it is less likely than likely. I can also acknoweledge, though, that there are things I do not know about to consider. The betrayed often don't see it coming, because of these unknown unknowns. So I say there is a chance he will, will in the same breath, proclaim I have faith he will not. That acknoweledgement is the same principle that should apply to all things: you ought to see that on the perimeter of your knoweledge borders an infinite expanse of ignorance. The more wisdom you have, the greater the perimeter. If you are properly percieving it and acknoweledging it with its due credit, you will know nothing true or good would demand certainty from you.

      >i simply believe he isn't one to do it, and it is less likely than likely

He actually did not and that is very telling about you and people in general: "he" wrote that out of his good will and vigor

he may have felt good while writing it, that he was doing good, but he told only a lie
he cannot differentiate certainty from what he said about believing a thing is more or less likely
i am certain i will get paid on friday
          am i absolutely certain? no
am i absolutely certain of anything? yes, for instance, that i am
          it is beyond contradiction
so is the principle of my being
this is certainty, this is faith, this is belief
you can have more or less of it
you can have all or none of it
the point of certainty is to know truth
therefore what he said of truth not demanding certainty is false
          it is logically inconsistent
          it is a lie

You are just playing a game of definitions,he was refering to OP's use being 100% absolute certainty. Not a measure of probability. You are either agreeing with him under different definitions, or doing what he said which is conflating absolute certainty with probability.

Better to know, faith is needed only when you identify as a lost human who could be abandoned by God/love.
