Because I haven’t got a satisfactory answer yet and no one has posted any proof to back up their claims

I can post what I want, and you will read it and you will reply as evidenced here

I've told you before, the paranormal can't be proven with pictures or videos because if you see them you'll just assume they're fake. Why do you keep coming to this board when you're so desperate for the paranormal to not be real?

OK, just because you ignorant fricking morons are so absolutely insufferable, I'm going to give you a chance to get undeniable proof of the paranormal, which probably everyone will ignore anyway. It's in the book shown in the pic. Investigators of the phenomena included some of the top physicists in the world at the time, such as Robert John Strutt, 4th Baron Rayleigh, who were completely convinced it was real. They used cameras and automatic monitoring equipment to prove anomalous shit was happening. Don't be a fricking moron and just look at the shitty Wikipedia page that is full of grotesque distortions and doesn't even cite the book shown. If you really want to know about very strong evidence this stuff is real, buy the book, read it, and then see if there is anything like a solid debunking out there (there isn't).

Acshually there are several thousands, even millions, of videos of UFOs, ghosts, weird creatures, goblins, nahuales, on YouTube, Facebook, etc.

So this post is absolutely ignorant and useless. Thread is closed.

Photos and digital photos of UFOs are, unfortunately, no longer definite proof of anything because of AI "editing".

What moron thinks videos or photos matter in this era? No one has ever satisfactorily debunked even the Patterson-Gimlin film, or for that matter the picture of the FL skunk ape or the Lettuce Lake bigfoot video. I could go on. Usually all that happens is some hideous nerdling comes along with bullshit "criticisms" founded on lies or shit reasoning or some baseless speculation, and that's taken to be enough to dismiss what's been presented. Since just about anything can be undermined with this sort of nitpicking or guessing at how something COULD BE faked, there's no conceivable scenario where a picture or video in and of itself will prove anything. I guarantee that if the US gov released unambiguous HD vids of UFOs, deformed mouth-breathing dweebs like Mick West would drop their anti-conspiracy-theory stance and decide that the videos were faked as part of a disinfo op.

I don't have an active phone and refuse to have one, but your point still stands, and that's odd.
I have personally seen things and had others with me who saw them too, but still, you think someone would whip out their phone and snap an image or two, or take video, but no.
It's almost like something is preventing the individual from realizing what he should be doing in that situation. Oh well.

The fact that the vast majority of spree killings and mass shootings have had no phone videos of them posted online proves your premise wrong.
When something actually scary is happening the vast majority of people are more concerned with getting out of there than getting some content for their Instagram or whatever.

I cannot find a single video of a school shooting on watchpeopledie. The closest is some Black folk discharging a pistol outside a school.
No video of the nashville troony shooting, no video of the santa cruz shooting, vast majority of high-profile school shootings have 0 video of the actual event online.

Me and a friend were harrassed by a dark entity in 2016, we got a few photos of it (2 of them were not taken by any of us [they showed up on my camera roll], these were closeups of the entity (think entirely black figure with robe) at the apartment I used to live in), the other one was taken by her in the subway from back to front of the train, entity was there as well, completely dark, with the robe as well. We didn't share with anyone, why would we? what would we gain from it?

      Anonymous

what do you gain from even telling that? pics or gtfo larper

        Anonymous

besides the fact that it's been almost 8 years and there hasn't once been a desire for me to "share it" with anyone external, relive it, or anything remotely similar (which includes looking at those pics or sharing them)

we never did anything with those pics. why would we ever want to give it power by reaffirming its existence and "sharing" it with others and involving their mental energy with it, either allowing it to attach to those people or having the person reaffirming its existence through though

It was on our fricking asses constantly, harassing us as I mentioned. We had broken stuff, falling stuff, bangs on doors, stuff moving around, it would show up in the corner of our eyes mocking us, we had unexplainable rotten/rotten meat smells. I was literally a college freshman, we had jackshit in that apartment, suffice it to say I never brought any meat to that apartment, I didn't even have a fridge back then

        > Posts or shares photos of dark entity that constantly fricked with us for ~1/2 a year, best case:
"haha it's fake", "that's just this or that", "you're crazy", "that's just a person"
worsta case: same but the shit reattaches or something similar, I won't fricking risk that just to please some fellow /x/chizo anon

        > Doesn't post photos
"proof or you're lying", "you're larping", "omg show me I NEED to see it"

it was a draining, dark and tiresome part of our lives that we didn't choose (there was no ouija board, contact attempts or anything from us, it just latched and leeched from us), and we decided to bury for our own good.

I didn't post this to please you or convince anyone. OP asked why there's no definitive proof. To me, what happened to us and those pics are definitive proof. Why would it be for you or anyone else? It'd be futile to even attempt that, as shown by whatever videos and pictures on the internet are real

/X/ phenomenon exist on an overlaid astral layer and thus don't produce photons as we know them. I once saw apparitions of cartoony looking entities in the woods in broad daylight (probably faeries in the Celtic sense), sat and watched them for a good half an hour but any pics I tried to take didn't see anything but the trees, bushes, river, etc. almost certainly a phenomenon analogous to augmented reality but with my third eye superimposing the image as its processed.

it's funny. there was a period of maybe 10 years where phones had camera quality that could maybe be considered definitive proof of the paranormal (you know, non-grainy footage). but now we have AI videos around the corner, I'm not sure how we'll be able to lean on video footage ever again. I was thinking, like you, that we'd maybe have to wait for phone cameras to get good enough to zoom, but it seems there wasn't enough time for that.

Proof is a rare thing, and not always possible. Its absence is not proof in itself. This has been proven logically in the realm of mathematics, it is known without a doubt that there exist things that are true but cannot be proven to be true.

What about a cellphone changes that?
All we know for certain now is that things like ghosts are mental phenomena. This was always obvious though, if you ignored modern media betrayals of spiritual concepts and read about what people actually believed. A ghost is a spirit, a spirit is that which wills action, and a demon is a spirit acting within a conscious entity without said entity being conscious of it.
