Did the world really end in 2012?

The Mayan prophecy cannot just be a case of fashion and fads changing over the years, people fundamentally looked different and the world simply had a different feel to it. So. did it transition us into a new timeline?

Higgs boson just proved that Higgs fields are theoretically possible. The 'god particle' version of the Higgs Boson was dismissed years before what was eventually named as the Higgs Boson was discovered.

by prevented they just delayed it
tptb are currently trying to prevent what they delayed and keep looping back like a restore point
they could go back further but the general pop is so mind-flayed that going to pre 2012 could mean more cycles of not preventing 2012 or that a different cabal is most in control and the incumbents dont want that
you wont remember anything next reset

I don't know if you know this, but the Mayans were wiped out several hundred years ago.
So obviously they stopped adding to the calendar.
Or, at best, it marked an age similar to the Vedic relgiions. I think Mayans had stuff like "age of jaguar" or "age of the eagle" so maybe it measured cycles and we entered a new one in 2012.
Furthermore, I'd cast doubt on the veracity of the interpretation of the calendar, who's to say that the scholars were right, did they actually ask the Mayans? Or was this some dude hundreds of years later "interpreting" the calendar. Does it just end? Or does it specifically describe "The End"?

In 1966, Michael D. Coe wrote in The Maya that "there is a suggestion ... that Armageddon would overtake the degenerate peoples of the world and all creation on the final day of the 13th [bʼakʼtun]. Thus ... our present universe [would] be annihilated ... when the Great Cycle of the Long Count reaches completion
      >suggestion

Or was this some dude hundreds of years later "interpreting" the calendar. Does it just end? Or does it specifically describe "The End"?

        >Coe's interpretation was repeated by other scholars through the early 1990s.[32] In contrast, later researchers said that, while the end of the 13th bʼakʼtun would perhaps be a cause for celebration,[10] it did not mark the end of the calendar.[33] "There is nothing in the Maya or Aztec or ancient Mesoamerican prophecy to suggest that they prophesied a sudden or major change of any sort in 2012," said Mayanist scholar Mark Van Stone. "The notion of a 'Great Cycle' coming to an end is completely a modern invention."[34] In 1990, Mayanist scholars Linda Schele and David Freidel argued that the Maya "did not conceive this to be the end of creation, as many have suggested".[35] Susan Milbrath, curator of Latin American Art and Archaeology at the Florida Museum of Natural History, stated that, "We have no record or knowledge that [the Maya] would think the world would come to an end" in 2012.[10] Sandra Noble, executive director of the Foundation for the Advancement of Mesoamerican Studies, said, "For the ancient Maya, it was a huge celebration to make it to the end of a whole cycle," and, "The 2012 phenomenon is a complete fabrication and a chance for a lot of people to cash in."[10] "There will be another cycle," said E. Wyllys Andrews V, director of the Tulane University Middle American Research Institute. "We know the Maya thought there was one before this, and that implies they were comfortable with the idea of another one after this."[36] Commenting on the new calendar found at Xultún, one archaeologist said "The ancient Maya predicted the world would continue—that 7,000 years from now, things would be exactly like this. We keep looking for endings. The Maya were looking for a guarantee that nothing would change. It's an entirely different mindset.

People in the south still practice a lot of old cultural rituals and festivals. There’s a divide in the community between people who emphasize indigenous identity and people who went more with the government mestizo propaganda
The languages are still widely spoken in the Yucatan especially
Some of the culture has been made touristy but in very rural areas it’s still pretty much intact

I’ve thought that before. You wouldn’t believe what I’ve been through. I feel like I should’ve died several times over but.. God saved me. Idk about multiple realities but my life did change a bit for the worse after. It’s looking up at this point though.. I couldn’t say what happened exactly but, we would definitely know it if we were in hell.

Scissor lift or whatever it's called at my uncle's construction company HQ. I fell off the railing to the smooth, solid concrete floor of the warehouse and smashed my head. The safety bar wasn't locked in, and it let me fall when I gripped it for support. First I smashed my head on the sharp edge of the platform, then fell to the ground. Boom. Bash. Constant pain - open my eyes and just lie there until my uncle and coworkers come out. Lift my head off a huge puddle of blood. but my skull isn't broken, just back of head is gashed up. No XRAY or MRI ever confirmed a fracture...a non event.

So...its all bullshit. World miraculously turns into some kind of hellish pigscape with the worst degenerates imaginable taking over in the most nonsensical, psychotic manner - it's not real. I went to Hell. Not much else to it.

    No.
The Mayans never prophesized that the world world end in 2012. They just had a neat way of laying out the seasons in a circle and ran out of room to put anything after 2011, and considering it was 300 years in the future they probably just said "oh well, we'll figure it out when it becomes a problem."

People give the Mayans far to much credit. Sure for the area they were pretty advanced but as a whole even China had them beaten out by leaps and bounds in terms of societal and technological advancement by hundreds of years.

The old world did end. 2012 was used as an energetic marker by the human collective subconscious to mark the beginning of the new cycle, partly due to its notoriety in society's consciousness at the time. Look into "the splitting prism" of the timelines.

I never really noticed anything different until about 2016. That's when the world really started to turn upside down. Though maybe some of us just didn't notice the snowball rolling downhill, until it was the size of a house. I concede that possibility.
