Cats & Myth

What are some of the supernatural myths surrounding cats?

Anyone have any idea about some of the old egyptian cat mythology?

Any chance we can get a nice thread going on the historical and modern mythological history and roles of cat.

How paranormal are cats?

owls > octopuses > cats all 3 linked to aliens also maybe as a human construct to not make us lose it if we see there true form, literally incomprehensible, another rumor I heard just 2 days ago was the aliens are using cats as spies, or familiar like witches do, sort of domestic "looking glasses" also linked to Alice, Aliens, Trump and Area 51

cats are creepy but nothing is creepier then a owl, basically a flying cat almost with 360 degree vision, you ever saw that WGU commercial with the big ass owl, I always turned my head, old Indian myth they say never look a owl in the face, if you hear em hoot it means the grim reaper is near and somebody just died or is about to, every movie I saw if you see a owl on screen or even hear it in the background, somebody is about to get there subscription canceled

      They arnt scary . . .

Owls are cool and you can befriend them like Ravens and Crows . . .

      You can make owl frens

I was able to overcome anxiety, stress, and intrusive thoughts in my daily life by watching how my cat acts when I let her outside. She finds a spot, sits down, and just stares. She’s not expending energy, she’s not focused on anything, just zoned out. But she keeps her eyes open. Then when a bird swoops down, she lights up in an instant and goes full throttle at it. Predatory animals reserve their energy until it’s needed, then when it’s needed they burn it as fast and hard as possible to get the job done.

We humans evolved as predators. But we don’t live like them anymore. We try to stay in a constant middle-ground state where we’re always burning fuel but never redlining. But that causes a lot more wear on the engine long-term.

I dont think ducks have time to . . . I think predatory animals would have the time weirdly?

          >like a rabbit meditating is called fast food

          >It's an aspect of meditation that scares me when I think about it; fundamental only apex predatory animals of mega-fauna like elephants could have the chance to
