Carlos Castaneda;?

> It's a 200 page long /x/ post with a Mexican-American twist. It's got;
> Skinwalkers
> Souls of Wizards/Witches helping the living
> Demons/entities
> Drug induced spiritual experiences
> Witches and Wizards fighting each other
> A master/apprentice dynamic

Any other long form tall tales that scratch that itch of sounding real, but if somebody were to really dug down would realize that the author is writing fiction?

He's writing from his own experience, but I guess you're right in a way

      >fiction isn't real!

      big mistake

      "Uhh... Source?"
"If I where to explain my sources, I would ruin the magic behind whether my story is true or not."

His bit about the "Flyers" (demons) that are constantly around influencing our thoughts is pretty compelling.

Mild observation of Carlos Castaneda, I've seen his personal students, they are not well. They are paranoid of things following them and messing with them, and they go around putting curses on people. I wouldn't recommend his writings to anybody.

There is no good in hatred, and Carlos built his way on blaming white people for his problems.

To answer the OP's question, everything out there but Jesus is an attractive sounding long form lie.

      >christian theology be like
      >hey 2000 years ago some guy was a god
      >no him showing up didn’t change reality in any significant way
      >no there are still wars even doe the Bible says the messiah will usher in world peace when he shows, but he’ll have a second coming or something
      >what did he do? He told everyone he was god, that he had saved everyone by dying even though he didn’t die and was fine afterwards
      >even though he saved everyone by dying it only works if you believe he was god
It’s a religion revolving entirely around worshipping the guy who founded it, rather than actually doing anything. And he didn’t actually do anything when he showed up that would prove he was god like world peace or making gravity lighter so people could fly or making a new continent
      >yeah I know nothing at all changed by me showing up but I came solely to tell you I’m god so I can send you to hell if you don’t believe that I’m god. Yeah that’s the whole point of it I guess
      >no no i saved you by sacrificing myself to myself on your behalf
      >I would have sent you to hell if I had not sacrificed myself to save you
      >just believe that I’m god and worship me because my saving everyone with my sacrifice doesnt actually work unless….. people believe that I did it?

The blind is effective for those who are not prepared to penetrate the veil. They see only fiction, fraud, and nonsense.

    All by design.

He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.

And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

      >Jesus loves you, God saves.

Common-sense people should really stay out of /x/ - yes, you don't know or believe in anything except the superficial 'truth' - we're aware, and use it to our advantage.

Don't read Castaneda, then. These immoral and decadent new age fantasies would only ruin your life; you'd be a pariah and an outcast and very unpopular. Cringe!

This site is good, but at the moment is down.
In a forum I had read that Castaneda's egregor had been hijacked, perhaps by Indian gurus to whom he had turned. I couldn't find out more. I know that others, like me, at some point felt something wasn't right and walked away.
