>Cant do yoga stretches or Ill go to hell
Why are Christians like this? I say this as a Christian. Maybe Im just a blind fool and dont understand.

I can see why putting your body in certain positions for long periods of time is out of tune with the holy spirit, but where do people draw the line?

Satan is by definition, anything not Christian. Basically a schizo slur like pagan.

Christianity is an imperialistic religion that cannot tolerate the existence of competition, so Christians must slander every non-christian practice/belief as "evil/satanic" in an effort to get people on board. It doesn't work, and never has, but it's all they know how to do.

You'll go to hell because you're a homosexual. Nowhere does it say that you'll go to hell for striking poses.

Christian countries have freedom of religion. Muslim countries kill or forcefully convert the christians in their borders.

    vs
    >let's find out all the ways we can move, and not get hurt
early on, before we had figured out /how/ to move, I can absolutely see families with these two schools of thought going to war. but this is 2024, if you haven't figured out that you can snap your own neck but are too scared to do a front-flip, I kind of feel bad for you.

I'll let them chew their cud on antipsychotics thinking I'm some sort of messiah because they've never meditated in their lives and my power level is stupidly high compared to them.

Praying to dead saints and the "queen of heaven" isn't Christian either. Unironically, true Christianity has never been tried. Yet.

Both of those are in the book of Revelation.

Because it has an attached spirituality and those are poses of worship to their weird deities.
          Exorcists always advice against it.
Also there are plenty of ways to strech without doing hindu worship poses and have a guru teaching their silly spirituality.

this usually happens in protestant denoiminations, because they have a schizo eschatology which promotes being conspiratorially mindedness.

Christianity has a lot of bullshit like any religion. Just dump the bullshit and go for spiritual truth instead.

Also Abrahamics are too autistically obsessed by their holy book.

      this
It's mostly a glorified book club of mindless people who think they're gonna be saved just by simply announcing their belief and following the rules.
Try and extract the spiritual lesson from it and avoid morons who think that anything besides their book and their god is the enemy.
There's probably a lesson and value in most religions that we have today that managed to withstand the test of time.
And you probably need to do more than just pray and say I believe and I repent and whatever the frick to reach divinity.
Yoga is a good start on working on your physical body, then the spirit should follow, I need to start as well cause my joints are at an absolute shit state atm.
You're here for a very specific reason I think, a lesson you need to learn. You have a shot at learning it and reconnecting with divinity because you are human.

It’s hard for some people to unpack the world from the boxes they already placed it into. I take pity on them, for I know that I would be likely to do the same in their shoes.

I'd have to agree because it allows blood to flow more freely throughout the body. I saw a yoga instructor suggests 5 Tibetan Rites, which has no still poses at all.

Because the different positions have spiritual implications. For the same reason Christians shouldn't do mudras.
    >But it's just an awkward pose! Why is it not allowed????
You're right, in normal circumstances it would just be an awkward pose. But since spiritual significance has been assigned to those poses, specifically that by doing them you are glorifying certain "deities" (demons), they now have spiritual significance to those demons. In the same way doing the sign of the cross is technically just waving your hand around your head and upper body, but God gives it significance. The act of drawing a pentagram, for example, doesn't metaphysically compel a demon to appear by some universal law related to that particular series of shapes. It's just that the imagery is associated with them and that you're willing to draw it that gets their attention. If you're playing by the rules of demons, you're going to attract demons. If you're playing by the rules of God, you will attract Godliness.

Even Christians have "Muddras" (hand seals) associated with praying, the closed fingers is the most common one in protestant world palms together is more common in the orthodox and catholic world.

No. Also doesn't refute what I said, just making a false equivalence. The concept of "mudras" is from a specific non-christian religion. Christianity doesn't have mudras for the same reason Islam doesn't have mudras, mudras are a specific thing that exists within a specific "religion" and does specific things within that "religion." They aren't universal, and your attempt to draw a comparison is more out of contempt for Christianity and the desire to denigrate it than anything. If you'd like to do yoga and mudras, be my guest. God doesn't force anyone to follow him. But you cannot bring Christendom down to the level of your new age universalist spiritualism. It categorically refuses to fit in, if it did it would be violating it's own principles and purpose. And you can't bully God into liking yoga.

Why do /x/tards place such reverence upon things that are old, because they are old? Conflicts of religiosity aside, there is nothing special about Yoga when you boil it down. You can reach altered states of consciousness without any external action of your body. The Asanas themselves are just isometrics and deep breathing (correctly performed, it would be PNF stretching). Everything should actively be demystified. It's the goddamn Age of Aquarius. We should also do away with ritual magic and prayer and just call it outer intention.
