Can?

Can /x/ help me understand a dream or experience I had the other night?

I haven't had sleep paralysis before but think I may have two nights ago.

I half woke up during the night while sleeping, my eyes were half open and I could see around the room, but my arms and legs were too heavy to move. I couldn't roll over or do anything, just look around my room with my eyes half open.

I tried to go back to sleep but couldn't so lay like this for a bit, but then I started hearing knocking at my door. It was my Grandmother calling my name. I knew it couldn't be her and that I was half dreaming so tried to ignore it.

Moments later I saw a man standing in the corner of my room in front of my bookcase. He was very well dressed, tuxedo, coat tails, all the formalities. He felt like an attendant or valet or something. I half thought it was just my bookcase and wasn't scared, but I shit you not the man had that fricking dream guy face from pic related.
He had a half smile but it didn't seem nefarious. My grandmother stopped knocking at my door and he kept watching for a while after, with a grin that started to become annoying, but not sinister or malicious or anything.

I eventually fell back to sleep. My grandmother who lives at another house was also fine the next morning.

Does any of this mean anything?
Just dumb brain dream shit?
Does that fricker with the dream face mean anything? I feel like if i see him again it'd go from something that was non-nonchalant to maybe sinister. I don't know I don't want to find out.

Any thoughts anons?
Thanks for reading my blog.

My room is clean and thanks to covid/disability the only times I've left the room the past 4 years is to go to doctor appointments.
Would that still lead to an etheric pest?

Normal sleep paralysis bullshit. Next time pull yourself out of your body and b***h slap him. Or let him rape you, your choice.

I really did try to move. I think I might have managed to move onto my side by my arms and leg were like lead.
I also didn't want to slap him, nor do I think he wanted to rape me. He didn't seem bad, like a waiter at a restaurant, just doing his job.
Side note, he was dressed like the shining ghost in my image, but none of the malice or any kind of evil vibe at all (no good vibes, just complete neutrality, like an observer or chauffeur)

He's a projection of your own mind so he's just you.
        >I think I might have managed to move onto my side by my arms and leg were like lead.
That's actually good news. Now this part is just straight up no bullshit advice. That lead feeling is actually the proper sensation. Next time you're there really focus on the feeling of trying to move while in that state. Your movements will feel extremely slow, heavy and you should get a tingling sensation in those limbs. Keep persisting until you can sit up and stand.
At this point congrats, you're out of your body and movement should start to feel more normal. You just entered a lucid dream through the WILD method. Though some people consider these actually OBEs.

That actually sounds really fricking interesting.
Does this method differ from other types of lucid dreaming? Any reading on this?
Have you or any other anons done this before?

It did feel impossible to move but if it happens again I will try.

If it's the same scenario and the man is watching my from the corner of my room do I avoid acknowledging him or anything like that?

had a similar kind of thing, it was like 3 consecutive dreams in sleep paralysis where I was making moves and aware.
1st one I went outside to my porch and a neighborhood feral cat ran off but didn't look at me.
Immediately after (2nd drream) I woke up paralyzed and half dreaming and mute, I couldn't yell, but I forced myself to bang on the wall with my fist and tried to yell because I was frightened, but my body still felt fully paralyzed and I made no sound.
Then I woke up a 3rd time, still paralyzed, and a bright light filled my doorway and pulled me out into a pure blinding white light.
Then some time passed and I woke up, not paralyzed. I went outside and the cat was laying there on the porch, looked at me and ran off again.

            cont.
It sounds like a bad dream, but when I woke up I wasn't disturbed by it. I felt a lot more peaceful.

Had a dream where I was talking about something along the lines of ''the emancipation of...'' and I woke up and thought it was a book or something, only to later find out that I was thinking about the emancipation of mimi, a Mariah Carey album. Take that as you will.

that's interesting. I never hear music in my dreams, It makes sense that dreams would reference music like that.

People with down syndrome and extreme autism can astral project themselves into other people's minds. Usually accidentally, they don't know what they're doing. They just do it.
